Joe's Painting I hired to paint the outside of my house. Their contract said they would cover any…read moreplants or shrubs that were close to house that could not be moved before painting. They did NOT! I had over spray on a couple of my large bushes such as "rose of sharon" and "Lilac bush" and strawberry plants. After starting to paint they then told me the gutters would cost more, the railing on the front porch would cost more! These things should have been brought up and included at the time of the bid and they were NOT! The girl that answered the phone and scheduled the job was probably the ruddest person I have ever talked with in a public company! We have had 3 houses painted in california and oregon and after painting they always washed the windows. This company did not. Now I have to hire the windows washed AGAIN! Only time will tell on the actual paint on house. I would recommend that if you want to use this company, make sure everthing is mentioned in the contract when they come out to do bid. Have it in writing!!!!! Make sure there's not HIDDEN costs!
