Mastercraft was able to accommodate us before we had to leave town. We had a paint peeling problem on the front siding that we had other painters paint in the past but it kept peeling. Mastercraft strip it down to bare wood, re-primed it and applied a finish coat. Looks a lot better the before, not perfect, but better than anyone else had done. The Mastercraft team also took a while to start the job (4 weeks). On the plus side, once they start the job they stay on it until it was finished. Our house, with all the prep, took 4 and a half days start to finish. Mastercraft seems to be a family business as the estimator/projects manager was Kyle Dargert and the boss in the office was Jay Dargert. It was supposed to be some special coating for concrete and they guaranteed that it would not do this. WRONG! They over-sprayed the coating onto our garage door and our stucco, neither did they take care of. Very sloppy work. The garage floor is okay, but for a few $$$ more they could have added a cove on the sides (to make for a finished look), and a second coat of the sealer (to make it a smooth surface). Neither of these was offered to me. Don't even get me started about the scheduling. They never got back to me re: a date and time to do the work. They just showed up one morning with all of their equipment and expected to get to work on the garage. We had nothing cleared out and to make it worse, my wife and I were sick in bed when they showed up, making it really inconvenient. Jay is impossible to deal with. If you are looking for a professional, this place is NOT it.

Do you know how hard it is to find someone to paint your house in rural Nevada? Well, we were very…read moreglad to find Joe and Mrs. Joe and Vincent as they did a great job for a reasonable price on short notice. We have a 2200 SF two story home that was in need of interior painting. We have had it on the market for over 200 days and one minus was that it really needed to be repainted. We had called a number of places and they either never returned or call, were too busy to take us right now or would not come to Yerington. Mr. Joe came out and looked over the house, gave us a bid and said he could get it done in two days. Two days? Really? We were skeptical, but figured they had a big crew and were were going to have it all painted one color. Well, it was just the three of them and I have never seen a crew work so diligently and efficiently. They worked from 8 to 6 the first day and 9 to 2 the second day and got the whole thing done and it looks great. The final cost even came in a few hundred dollars LESS than the original bid. Other than a few switch plate screws that disappeared and a few stray paint spots on the floor, the job was perfectly done. Wish we had gotten them to do the exterior, but that is another review.

They did NOT! I had over spray on a couple of my large bushes such as "rose of sharon" and "Lilac bush" and strawberry plants. After starting to paint they then told me the gutters would cost more, the railing on the front porch would cost more! These things should have been brought up and included at the time of the bid and they were NOT! The girl that answered the phone and scheduled the job was probably the ruddest person I have ever talked with in a public company! We have had 3 houses painted in california and oregon and after painting they always washed the windows. This company did not. Now I have to hire the windows washed AGAIN! Only time will tell on the actual paint on house. I would recommend that if you want to use this company, make sure everthing is mentioned in the contract when they come out to do bid. Have it in writing!!!!! Make sure there's not HIDDEN costs!
