They've also come by to troubleshoot some tricky ejector pump issues. Each time I've called, they've been available that next day or within a reasonable time. Everything they've done has looked professional and clean. Their pricing was reasonable as well, which is always a plus. They're a little difficult to find on the web, but they're always well recommended on my town Facebook pages and have a Yelp (obviously lol). I wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future. I definitely recommend them to anyone in the area!

My family and I had a very unpleasant experience with this business and in particular with the Office Manager Claire DelTufo. We hired them to fix a leaky pipe in my brother's home that we are trying to sell. After the first time around that the two men showed up to "fix" the pipe, my dad took a look at it later on and noticed it was still leaking so he called and asked them to come back - turns out another part was needed because the worker broke that part when trying to work on the pipe so my dad bought it and gave it to them to "finish" the job (we'll see if they decide to charge us for the part my dad bought with his own money based on the conversation I had with Claire which I'll get into momentarily.) We then find out that the pipe is still leaking because an assessor came in and mentioned it. So my dad fixed it as soon as possible as it was clear that Del Tufo Plumbing & Heating is unreliable. I then gave a call to the office and the first woman I spoke to was very pleasant but she said that Claire would have to give us a call back to get more information from us. A couple of minutes later, Claire called us and had an attitude straight off the back. When we explained what happened, she was like "Well what do you want? Money off the bill?". I of course said that would be nice since they didn't actually fix the pipe but she then refused that request in a very loud and aggressive tone. I then said ok to the denial of requesting money off the bill but then asked if she could provide feedback to the men that did the job since they did not actually fix the pipe and I do not want this problem to happen to someone else. She proceeded to scream at me about how she trusts her workers and doesn't understand why she should give them that type of feedback and that we should expect a bill soon. I would not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you need to deal with Claire as she is incredibly mean, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional.

Rating: 4.5 We…read morepurchased a home recently and after doing some research we found that its a good idea to have duct cleaned for the house before moving in especially since previous owner had multiple dogs and cats. I had looked into duct cleaners in the areas and came about this place as well as another one. I had a brief text back and forth and they quoted me about $1100 for 1 system and $1650 for 2 system with new customer discount of $100 which i thought was bit pricy. I had got a quote from another place and the guy came in. To inspect. He counted the number of vents, opened the vent and looked into it and told us there are mold and needs mold remediation along with cleaning, UV light... etc and quoted me over $3k which i thought was crazy for the service and he said it would only take 3 hours. I had thought about getting 2nd opinion and the guys was like trying to give discounts to have us pick in the spot which was a red flag. After this I did more research and had a guy JB come in to inspect from Air duct cleaning of NewEngland. He came in and looked around checked and gave us quote of $850 which was lower than initial quote which i was happy about. I asked some questions and he said 2 guys will come in for couple hours and clean the place. No counting vents or mold remediation. The guys was nice and friendly to talk with. We booked an appointment for the guys to come in and clean the place. We did have an issue with appointment as Kayla reach out to me and said that there was some staffing issue the day of appointment so had to be moved. It was a bit inconvenient as it was 2 days before the appointment but we rescheduled our appointment to later date. The day of appointment 2 guys came in Ivan and Louise. They were younger guys and seemed friendly. Seems like they were pretty efficient and worked on the house from around 8 to11:30 ish for about 3 hours and half. I did ask for before and after picture as well. At the end i had made a payment over phone with the manager and they had me sign some documents and they left. They came back in few minutes as they forgot the document to take back to the office so i gave them the documents and had to ask for the photos on the spot. It seemed like they were rushing a bit which was not the best but they did seem like they did mostly thorough job. I did ask if there were any more from the other technician but didn't seem to get any response later. Overall i was happy with the result of the duct cleaning and i would consider this place for again. I may have to be more bold and ask for more pictures as there were more before picture than after pictures.

His attention to detail and patience with us was amazing (we are really picky and perfectionist). Mike McBurney is a one-man electrician. He answers his own phone, usually by you leaving a…read morevoicemail that his message says he'll return within 24 hours - and he calls you back within that time frame. I had several tasks to do to update bathroom lighting from the 1950's. Mike was able to come give me an estimate within days of me calling - he came over on his lunch break from another job to see my current situation. He scheduled a visit to do the job on the very tight schedule I had. My project required him to switch out an ancient ceiling light/fan/heat unit and the old circle switch for an updated button-type switch, remove old "eyeball" recessed lights to replace them with newer LEDs, and divide the eyeballs and the vanity lights from one to two switches (the new ones are much brighter, so I wanted an option to turn on one set of lights without the other) and replace an old outlet with a GFI. The work required Mike to look behind my recessed medicine cabinet to find how the current set-up was done. Since I'm replacing the cabinet, he also helped me box up the old one and bring it to the street for my trash collection. Mike noticed that not only did he need to add the switch but to change out the existing mercury one to something more up to code. The work was done neatly, quickly, and at a great price! All during the Phase 1 reopening afre COVID-19, so it was done with Mike wearing a mask and being attentive to social distancing as much as possible given the small footprint of my bathroom and my narrow doorway into the place.

This summer, after 24 years of good service, our Lennox air conditioner unit failed. Almost all the representatives that contacted us noted that a failed compressor was the problem Another problem was that our unit was located beneath the roof in a third-floor attic. We decided to go with Continental Engineering, the same company that installed our unit 24 years ago. While each of the representatives was knowledgeable and courteous, it was Richard DiRocco from Continental Engineering that impressed us the most. Not only did he give us a reasonable estimate, but he also described how that unit on the third floor could be accessed and removed. Our min contact was Pam in the main office who made all the arrangements. When the day for the new units arrived, Roger and two assistants installed the new units. They were amazing. Before they removed the original unit, they put cloth over the stairs and other areas where they would be working. Everyone we dealt with at Continental was informative, helpful, and very professional. We look forward to many more years of comfort with our new unit.
