Spoke to Tony to set up a cleaning for my boiler. He provided very prompt and courteous service. Jason, the technician came over and cleaned my boiler and replaced a part. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and conscientious. I have used this company before and I highly recommend them very fair pricing and great service as well read more

i moved into condo 7 years ago each year i had someone different to service my AC asking my neighborhood friends i finally got someone who had the knowledge how AC unit operates if you need someone call T, Gomes heating cooling you will more than satisfy who knows how it works read more

Over the winter I was having some unusual sounds coming from my heating system, so called T Gomes once more. They were able to quickly schedule me, and the technician who came out was reassuring and friendly. At first, couldn't find an issue, but then- oh look! There it is! Luckily it was an easy fix, that he was able to take care of within the hour. I feel like I got a good deal for the price; the service was worth what I paid, for sure. Highly recommend! read more

The whole team was great! Fair pricing, professional, friendly service and they stayed after to walk us through everything we needed to know for our A/C. I can't say enough about how great they were! read more

5 stars for exceptional knowledge and customer value! My AC system was broken for two years and two companies did not have the knowledge or capability to repair my system. Jason and his team from TGomes Heating and Cooling repaired my two AC units and got my system running! When Jason arrived he got right to work and knew the exact components that needed to replaced. He got one AC unit running within minutes and repaired the second one a few days later. I appreciated that he was honest about the status of my system and conducted the repair that I asked for. For my future heating and cooling service I will no longer use my previous company and I will only use TGomes for my heating and cooling service thanks to their knowledge, honesty, and track record of finishing the job on time. Thank you! read more

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! Technician Jason Horne was a true professional. Instead of suggesting we replace expensive parts right away (a bad experience I've had with one of the large company in this area) , he dedicated himself to a step-by-step investigation. He carefully tested and ruled out each potential component, explaining his process along the way. His logical troubleshooting pinpointed the exact problem, which he then fixed efficiently. The price was more than reasonable for such quality work. It's so refreshing to find honest and skilled service. They have a customer for life! Highly recommend this company! read more

I am so pleased with the service ! I moved from Boston to Providence and I had no one to call and wasn't sure about prices ! I am so happy this company reached out willing to help. I am a first time home owner and you learn as you go but companies that take the time to explain things and work with you is one I will support all the way! I will be calling for future jobs :) I appreciate all you do ! God Bless !! read more

T Gomes Heating & Cooling - Electric water heater - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Warwick, Rhode Island

On time. Professional. Knowledgeable. They explained all work and results with recommendations for proper care.

Our heat stopped working on the coldest day of the year. I called Tony and he came out within hours. He knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it quickly and efficiently. Top notch company and we highly recommend them. read more

T Gomes has helped me out two times now. The first time was in the middle of winter and my heat went out. The representative was here quickly and took care of it. At a very reasonable price. This spring, my air conditioning was not working and they came out and did a thorough assessment and took action to get my AC up and running. I will definitely do business with them again. read more

Hired T Gomes recently for a new hot water heater, as my old one was extremely old and started leaking. Tony responded promptly with a reasonable quote and in the end, the job finished at that exact dollar amount. There is nothing worse than having the price suddenly change, and I appreciate that Tony and his company have always stuck to the quoted prices. Originally the lead time for a new hot water heater could have been up to a few weeks (totally reasonable) but Tony had a spot open up and was able to get this job scheduled in just a matter of days. The crew showed up right on time and I was amazed how quick and efficient they worked. The new copper work and connections to my new hot water heater seem almost of a work of art, as silly as that sounds. Really nice work. In total I have hired T Gomes 3 times in the last couple of years and have always been very happy with the professionalism, workmanship, and ease of doing business with Tony and his company. read more

I recently hired T Gomes Heating & Cooling to inspect our heater and AC in preparation for putting our house on the market -- wanted to make sure everything was clean and working well! I called and left a message and received a call back in a few hours and was able to schedule a service within a week. I was given a 3 hr timeframe the technicians could show up and they showed up and completed the work in that time. I loved how T Gomes sends you a confirmation text, and I even received a text from the technician when they were on the way which was super helpful. The technicians were courteous and professional. I appreciated that they asked clarifying questions before moving forward with tasks! The price was incredibly reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommended T Gomes for heating and cooling needs. read more

Always punctual. Reasonably priced.. When an emergency happened, they came right away and replaced the boiler so no one would be without heat.. They have been servicing that same unit for a few years now, and we have not had any problems.. read more

I hired them for changing my furnace from oil to gas. The price was very good and I have no complaints with the owner. However, I'm less pleased with some of the employees sent to inspect and possibly repair the furnace annually. The last guy sent made no mention of an obvious problem before his eyes. Next thing I knew I was paying for the service call, then he was gone. No offer to repair or replace a damaged coil so the time and money was a complete waste. If The owner Tony can't do it himself I can't be reassured I'm getting a service inspection of any value. read more

I was looking for a company to replace a furnace in my house. I live out of state so I have to get my real estate agent to let people in. My real estate agent spoke to them at 10:30 AM and they said they be there at 11:30 AM as they were 45 minutes away. 11:30 rolls around and they don't show up. They tell my agent they haven't even left south county. Clearly, they have no respect for peoples time. Incredibly unprofessional and clearly unreliable. Would never recommend. read more

You were able to come with only 20 minutes notice only three days after my original call. Why the 2-3 weeks now? We are retired and home most of the time. Please call if you have an opening with little notice and we will be here or a neighbor to accomodate you. read more

We just had T. Gomes come out and check a small problem with our furnace. They were absolutely great. They just charged us the service fee, fixed the problem within 45 minutes, and the technicians were outstanding. We even talked sports for about 15 minutes. Tony was absolutely awesome. Highly recommend these guys. Great service, showed us what the issue was and I learned something too. Definitely be using and recommending their services in the future. read more

Chris and Jason were polite, friendly and very competent. I was surprised when they even arrived early. In an hour they had all our problems solved and we had heat after six days without, and at a very reasonable price. Gomes is now our go to supplier for heating services, I could not expect better. read more

My second floor AC went out completely (no air blowing at all) on Thursday last week, when it was almost 90 degrees out. I called four contractors based on recommendations. One never answered the phone and never called back. One was going to take more than a week to get here, but they were very nice and the other could get here on Monday, but it was $250 for them to arrive before anything would get looked at. A friend at work mentioned they just had an issue and had called T. Gomes and they got there fast, diagnosed the issue as minor rather than what they had expected, were super nice and the price was very reasonable. I cancelled the appointment I had with the very expensive company and called T. Gomes. The woman who answered the phone could not have been nicer. She asked questions, listened and was concerned about helping us out as quickly as possible. When I mentioned the other company, she said that the owner used to work for that company, and they understand how expensive they are. She matched me with the Monday day and time and we waited it out. The technician texted in advance to say he was on the way, he was there right at the start of the promised window and was a very professional, nice and hard working man (I believe he was the owner's son). The issue was resolved very fairly for us and we even installed a new thermostat, which is a nice upgrade. I will always go with a small, family business when I can, but sometimes you worry about quality and qualifications. In this case, every aspect of the experience was first class. I could not be happier working with this company, and you will not be either. I will be a customer from now on. read more

I really wanted to find a small business plumber to handle service at my house. T Gomes had good reviews and looked good on Yelp. So when I had an issue with a valve on my hot water heater (no emergency) I figured I'd give them a try. Called - left message - waited two weeks - called again - left message - never heard back both times. Called GEM once. Next day, problem solved. read more

We have had Tony and his crew here on a few occasions, they are always quick to respond, can get to us in a satisfactory amount of time for as busy as they are. We are always treated with respect, everything is explained clearly and honestly. The prices are extremely reasonable, we do our homework when it comes to getting 3 estimates, Tony is always the best price and quality. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality, fair pricing and honesty. Also, everything was left clean and all trash/old equipment was removed. They actually noticed a potentially dangerous problem with our water heater, it was the wrong system recommended by Home Depot as a replacement for our previous heater they replaced under warranty. Could have been deadly! Thankfully they saw it. Thank you for the great job! read more

T Gomes Heating & Cooling - This is the outside unit they installed today - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Warwick, Rhode Island

Great Experience Long story short I gave this outfit a call about an issue I was having an issue with my mini-split AC unit. The technician setup a quick appointment and showed up on time. My issue was resolved and the unit runs like new. The best to come was the price, extremely reasonable. The technician even took the time to do full system check just to make everything was working properly. Thank you T Gomes, you'll be my go to company for the rest of the time I own my home in this area. Thanks read more

After having contacted several companies, Tony and his people reacted in a way I had hoped the others would have. Some came and we discussed my needs and then went back and miscommunicated the information, another wouldn't guarantee the furnace I wanted, another gave me a price that was, in retrospect much too high for the furnace I had chosen, and on and on. Others chose furnaces I had never heard of and could not find any objective reviews on. So, in total, it was something of a mental circus. Lots of promises and very little delivery. I'm beginning to think that this is typical of American business. To get back to my original statement, Tony Gomes was very different. Came to my residence, I told him the device I wanted, he said he would put it in in three days, he and a partner arrived promptly, installed the device in six hours, were constantly friendly and informative, and everything was left on a good note. I wish more businesses were like his. read more

They replaced a burned out motor, which was all well and good, but then turned around and charged around $200 more than what we were quoted. They also said they would come back and fix another heater that was making a loud noise repeatedly, because they couldn't figure it out while they were here and had to contact the manufacturer. They never came back or responded to my messages, just left us hanging. read more

Excellent service, tech was extremely thorough and showed us what was being repaired on the furnace & why, with tips for future maintenance to prolong its life. Highly recommend! read more

I had no heat and reached out late Sunday afternoon. I heard back within a couple hours and Tony came to my home the next day. It was a quick repair and I am relieved to have my heat back. This is my second positive experience... I also called this business back in Feb 2019. Reached out after 9 pm on a week night with no heat (different issue that time with my older boiler). I got a call back the same night and they came to repair the next day. Both times 100% professional and friendly. I would recommend this business to anyone!!! I really appreciate the expertise and also the great communication. Thank you! read more

Tony services our boiler and has always been responsive, reliable and quick. Texted him on the weekend about my boiler leaking and he answered, replied regarding pictures I sent and put my mind at ease. Gave me an appointment early on Monday and his technicians came out and fixed the problem quickly. The price was more than fair and they are HONEST. Advised I didn't need the boiler cleaned, which I appreciated greatly. I will never use anyone else! read more

A pretty bad experience. Hired to install a new ducted mini-split system. Eventually found out they had no experience with this type of installation. Here are some of the issues: - The system never worked properly. It barely cooled at all. Not worth the cost of the installation. After many return trips to our house, they could never figure out what the issue was. He mentioned they didn't make any money off this job because of the time spent at my house trying to get the system to work. Makes you wonder about a business owner willing to risk $ on a job they weren't qualified to do in the first place. - They dented the compressor coils installing it. - The system originally had multiple leaks throughout - They hacked holes in the wall and ceiling. The hole cutter, this was evidently his only job, said he just cuts holes and he's not responsible for how it looks afterward. - They slopped drywall mud around and on the vents. Two of the vent adjustment mechanisms were stuck because they were covered in mud. - They left piles of sawdust and plaster in the areas of wall and ceiling they hacked into. -I had to pay GEM Plumbing and Heating more money to come out and fix the install errors so the system would work as we originally anticipated. The guys from GEM were awesome, by the way. I have had two neighbors and a friend, who were looking into mini-split installations of their own, inquire about our experiences. I did not recommend T. Gomes... but definitely had a different recommendation from this expereince! read more

Great service. Showed up on time and did what he could to get me the right fix for the right price.

We had HVAC issues recently and last year. They were very responsive compared to other companies never responded to calls or email. Both times they provided expert service. They are my new goto for HVAC. Its is very hard to find good people that you can trust. I highly recommend T Gomes. read more

Wow! We've had terribly luck with HVAC companies with failure to reply but not with this company! The owner, Tony, is very responsive and came out a couple times to provide an estimate during the hottest (and possibly the busiest) week for a new furnace and AC installation. He was quick to provide the estimate and overview of work. He was on target with the proposed start date. He and his small team were very professional and knowledgeable. They were fast to complete the work but without lack of quality. Very reasonable and fair prices!! Jighly recommend for all HVAC needs! read more

I chose T Gomes based on their excellent reviews, and after experiencing their service firsthand, I can say that all their 5-star reviews are deserved! This marks the fourth summer I have lived in a house with central A/C. My system works well, but I wanted the system inspected and serviced for peace of mind. I had scheduled an appointment toward the end of June, just as the real summer weather arrived, and received a text from Tony confirming the appointment. Since my air handler is located in the attic, I scheduled an early morning appointment, so the attic would not be too hot for the technician, Jason, who arrived on time. He inspected the unit in the attic and deemed it in good condition. Next, he went outside to assess refrigerant levels and make sure the compressor was running properly, as well as clean the cooling fins. Then, after the unit had been running a while, he measured temperatures at supply and return air ducts in the house to verify the system was cooling properly. He even accommodated my request for an estimate to install a high-efficiency air filter for my furnace; I received the estimate during the visit, instead of having to make another appointment. How convenient! I found the technician to be very professional and polite, and the price for the A/C service was a very reasonable $95. read more
