The communication before the job was very clear and the price affordable. I really like that Langston is an actual Certified Arborist. I learn that a lot of what other trim trimmers I've used before was incorrect. Langston really cares about the trees and gave me information on other shrubs I am trimming myself. My oak took quite a hit in the last ice storm and had lost its shape. Not only did they trim the branches that hung over my roof but they also got it back on track to looking majestic again. They used quality machinery and lifts instead of some guys climbing in my tree. Everything went better than expected and the clean up was done nicely too. I contacted a local company to get an estimate. In walked Matt Burgess. He impressed me so much I didn't have to think twice about hiring that company, including Matt! Fast forward to August 2025. My trees had taken off but were still under stress and once again needed attention. I found Matt's business card which I had saved from 2022. I looked him up on Google and found Matt had his own business, Tree Service and Consulting! I called him and he came out and we did the tour of the trees. Six days later Matt and his crew showed up on time and were ready to go. I couldn't believe how happy and majestic my trees looked when the crew completed the trimming of the trees. The crew spread Organic Compost around all the trees. Matt set up the Propizol Micro Trunk Injections on all 13 of my Oaks. We needed hardwood mulch spread over some large shady sections in our back yard. I talked to Paul in the office, who arranged for his outside guy, Mo, to come out and do an estimate. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and the price was reasonable -- about the same as what we had been paying. They get 1/2 up front and then 1/2 on completion. In just a few days, a dump truck from Whittlesey put the 12 yards of mulch on our driveway. A couple guys from Austinscapes were there that afternoon and by mid-day the next day, they had it all done. Turned out to be a perfect estimate on the amount of mulch needed and took less time to get done than I would have thought. They cleaned up nicely. What's not to like?

Not to mention, they even trimmed our hedges and did some edging work which really put the cherry on the cake. My boyfriend was like a kid in a candy shop, racing around to all of our windows to watch in amazement as they transformed our sad-looking yard into a modern-day Eden while I basked in the glory of this great decision (and my fortuitous situation of finding these guys). From the start, Rod has been extremely helpful in diagnosing the problems with our lawn and following through with the treatments. Great communication, so many other lawn mowers we've had in the past have basically ghosted us. With Rod and his team, we are not only knowing when the lawn will be mowed but he is also keeping track of the weeds, pests, and fungi. Our weeds are not yet gone, but it seems like the pests are, based on the way the grass is growing in. Rod continues to help spray the weeds and keep an eye on them as he comes for our biweekly mowing. The lawn is looking healthier than when we moved in!
