Thank you, Franky and Team!…read more If you are looking for a house in the DMV area, Franky is the perfect agent! HE IS THE PERSON WHO HELP US TO FIND THE HOUSE JUST WITHIN THE 2nd OFFER in NICE AREA! My husband and I met Franky at one of the open houses in Washington DC. At that time, we didn't have any idea about the home-purchasing process. Even Though we searched online, we still got lost since we didn't know what the first step was and what our priority was. Franky helped us to understand the overall process, and encouraged us to think about our future life to set the goal of home-purchasing. Even Though we were not his clients at the moment, he gave us a 1-hour presentation of the whole process with the pamphlet. When we decided to go with Franky, he tried his best for us to find our FIRST HOME with some of our considerations. Since both of us work full-time, he made house-tour appointments or meetings (regarding making offers) after work hours. After our offer was accepted, Franky and his team gave sufficient advice regarding everything, such as locking the mortgage, depositing, final walk through, and the settlement! It took only 6 weeks to move into the new home since we started to look at the house to buy. As you can see my name, I am a foreigner and the whole process seemed overwhelming for me. However, Franky helped my husband and I to relieve the stress by communicating with the selling agent and title company. (Oh, I heard that he speaks English as well as Spanish). If my friend who came from foreign country asks me to recommend any agent, I will recommend FRANKY and his team! I am writing this review in my new, cozy room, where I dreamed about since I immigrated here. I can convince that if you work with Franky, you will never regret.

From day one, he truly listened to our needs and gave thoughtful recommendations about what would be a good long-term investment versus what might end up being a money pit. He wasn't the type to push for a quick sale--in fact, he pointed out property damage and issues we might've missed on our own, which really built our trust. He stood out among all the other real estate agents we attempted working with. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, we ended up getting our top-choice home in just eight days! The process was seamless from start to finish. Even recently, when we needed to relocate, Peter offered to help us find renters and has continued to be supportive. We'll absolutely be working with him again when it's time to sell. As first time home buyers, we felt we got amazing value for the services provided. Highly recommend Peter and the Red Cedar Real Estate team for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, genuine, and reliable agent.

The best way to describe Peter and Red Cedar is high touch, white glove - concierge service. Peter knew the market and had a powerful team of equally adept realty professionals. Nothing happened without Peter's knowledge and he always focused on what was best for us: Initially meeting through closing. Here's where the professionalism goes to another level - Peter builds relationships with his clients, throws mixers, and checked up on us a couple of times per year. And, he DIDN'T ASK US FOR THE NEXT DEAL each time he subtly checked in on us over 5 years! He and his team cares about you - long term not just to get a sale. After 5 years of relationship building, we called Peter and the Red Cedar team for support. He came over. We completed representation paperwork, his AMAZING 360 degree Ariel and interior video/photography genius turned up and transformed our house into a buyer's beacon that sold our home within 24-48 hours of posting - FULL PRICE OFFER!!!! This is Red Cedar - all day long. After getting an offer, Peter and his team coordinate every document, appointment, and follow-up like a well oiled machine. The signing appointment was completely painless without any hiccups in the paperwork or payout - again, Peter and Red Cedar are professionals and the service providers (Ex. I'm a homeowner, thanks to Shanika Hopson and the incredible Coalition Properties Team!…read more Shanika is an phenomenal realtor. I became connected to Shanika through a recommendation to use Harrison and Coalition Properties from a friend. Shanika is knowledgeable about neighborhoods, real estate trends, and very well connected. Not to mention, has a confident ease and very personable. You can see that Shanika wants you to find your home, more than just make a sale. Early on, I said I was willing to look and live all over DC, but really wanted to stay in NW, love natural light, wanted a 2bd condo and near "things". (I don't have a car). Shanika listened to me, watched carefully when we went to see condos, started to underhand my likes and dislikes, and never made me feel silly with all my questions and lack of knowledge. We communicated regularly via text/phone and using a particular app, she was able to see they types of places I was interested in. I saw a condo that was going on the market in a few days, we saw it before it went live... and the rest is history. The Coalition Properties Team hand held me( literally) through the entire process. I was also getting EHAP/HPAP monies making it a bit more difficult. They were on it. I was so impressed and thankful. I also love that they work with and support many black owned businesses and contacts. (Shoutout to Tracey on the closing team at coalition, Kendall my lender, and Sheldon the inspector!) So, to say it long. I had a wonderful experience working with Shanika. I put an offer on and purchased my first condo. A 2bd/1ba in Columbia Heights. I'm a homeowner y'all.

Dawn was recommended because my wife and I were a little indecisive and could not decide between Virginia and Maryland. Since she's licensed in both Virginia and Maryland, she was able to show us houses in both states; she must have shown us 50 houses. Once we found our home, Dawn guided us through the entire process from bidding through closing. Dawn patiently explained every form we signed and every step and every option we had until we closed on the house. We could not have asked for a better teacher than Dawn for our first home buying experience. Later, we finally were ready to move up to a bigger home and Dawn again came through for us. We found a house we liked and asked Dawn to help us buy it. Offers were required quickly and Dawn immediately found us a mortgage specialist who could get us a pre-approval letter for the offer. We had a weekend and Dawn was able to put together the winning offer on the house that weekend. After we moved, it was time to sell our old townhouse and we were blown away with Dawn's expertise in selling. We hadn't updated the house at all and we were behind on maintenance, but Dawn helped us put together a plan to get the best price for our house. She created a list of improvements we could do that were cost effective; picking out all the furnishing and fixtures to maximize our selling price. She found a general contractor to do all the updates and kept us abreast of their progress. She also guided us through Compass Concierge so we didn't have to pay immediately for any of the improvements. After construction was done, she helped us find cleaners to clean the house and a staging company to stage the house. The house was completely unrecognizable; it looked like something out of HGTV. We sold within a weekend, 25K over our asking price. We were so pleased that we also recommended her to my parents to sell my grandfather's house. She worked her magic and transformed the stale 1980's interior into a modern interior. There was a bidding war and my grandfather's house sold for 90K over asking. My aunts and mom cannot stop raving about her. Whether buying or selling a house, I cannot recommend Dawn more.

For a company that manages rentals and deals with people making serious life decisions, this kind of behavior is not only disappointing--it's deeply unprofessional. Luckily, I had three other property visits planned that day. But to treat someone who's investing their time, money, and energy to relocate so carelessly is unacceptable.
