While she was in the middle of removing my gel, a walk-in customer came in and asked for my technician. Instead of respecting my appointment or even asking if I was okay with switching, the owner simply took my technician away from me and gave her to the walk-in. I was left sitting there for about 10 minutes before I finally asked why no one was working on me. The owner told me that the other customer had requested my technician and that another technician would help me -- but that person was currently eating breakfast. Seriously? I made an appointment and arrived on time, yet a walk-in customer was given priority over me because she requested the technician I was already being serviced by. That is completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, the replacement technician's work was just as disappointing. My manicure looked like it had already grown out after two weeks. There was a noticeable amount of space around my nails where the polish wasn't even applied properly. The pedicure was also poorly done. I specifically asked for round nails, but they were filed sharp. One side was longer than the other, and when I pointed it out, the technician kept filing instead of simply cutting the nail shorter. I had to explain that she was making the nail thinner and sharper instead of actually making it shorter before she finally used nail clippers. The French tips were uneven and sloppy, with some areas having much more polish than others. At that point, I was so frustrated and tired of having to point out every problem that I just stopped complaining and left. I normally go to Honest Nails, but I decided to try this place because it was closer and cheaper. Unfortunately, this experience reminded me that sometimes you really do get what you pay for. The price wasn't worth the poor service, the lack of respect for my appointment, or the quality of the work. I will never come back, and I definitely would not recommend this salon.

She does my nails the way I ask for them to be done. This is the reason I go to her. I've been to several shops before where they refuse to do it how I like it, I stopped going there after I found Angel nails. Another gal that works at the salon is very good at what she does also, I can't remember her name. I think that all of the employees are great, friendly and keeps conversation with you. This salon is also clean and organized compared to other places. They sanitize all their equipment when they are done with a client during pedicures. I always recommend this place to all my friends.

This is an update to my last review. Soleil has recently…read moregone through an ownership change. Let me assure you that your favorite nail care specialists are still there doing an excellent job. I've been using their services for over 5 years and have not one complaint. I'm sure there have been a few people who have had a concern but from what I've observed, the ladies at Soleil do their best to correct the problem, in a friendly and professional manner, whether caused by them or the customers! They do several kinds of pedicures and Nancy is the pedicure specialist. She is terrific!! She's very professional yet friendly. She knows her job well and has never done anything to cause discomfort while doing her job. They have lovely massage chairs for a relaxing experience while getting your pedicure!! So if you've heard that the previous owners are no longer there, have no fear. Your favorite salon specialists are still there doing a wonderful job. Even when I let my nails get too long, wherever I go I constantly get compliments on them. Can't do better than that!! Please see the photo of my most recently done nails! Perfect!!
