This place is hit or miss. I always walk in and there are times I can be sat right away, and others that has a 40 min wait. That's to be expected for walk in. I went in last night to get a full set acrylic nails. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. The man who worked on my nails did it in such a rush and didn't take his time to pay attention to detail. When it came time to paying, the bill came back at $30... I believed I was falsely charged since the service booklet states it's $25... I didn't get a no chip or any other additional services to make it $30. I don't mind paying that amount if the job was well done, but the paint job was a bit messy and my cuticles weren't even cut. Not coming here again. read more

I don't recommend. Not a very relaxing environment. Disorganized. Nail techs sitting in spa chairs on their phones looks bad, & they said they were understaffed (I guess the guys only do manicures). Two nail techs I had were friendly though. A sign asking people to refrain from talking on their phones would help add to a more pleasant environment. read more

My mom received a rush manicure from the older man who directs everyone to their tables. She ended up with an open wound on one of her cuticles and another sore cuticle on a different finger. I know accidents happen, but this was not acceptable. I've been coming here to get my nails done for a long time. Most of the technicians are quite skilled and then you have the people who really take their time and do beautiful work. I was really disappointed to see how much pain this person caused my mother's otherwise healthy and strong nails. I went on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and I got a pedicure. First off, the nail polish is fine, but the actual pedicure was not. At least not later. Well during the pedicure my nail tech kept talking to the nail tech next to her, no big deal, she was still paying attention to my feet. It was a short timed pedicure and I didn't think anything of it. Later on when I got home I noticed my feet didn't feel soft. Sometimes they do a good job here and other times it sucks... it really depends who your nail tech is. They have also tried to upcharge me on their services so make sure you know the pricing before getting your nails done. I've had a couple of techs try to charge me for gel when I had acrylic done. Amira is the best tech there. She takes her time and my nails always look great when she does them. Once she leaves I'll never go back there. The guys that they have working there have ripped up my hands to the point where they bleed and they'll actually be sore afterwards. No apologies from them or anything. Also don't bother making appointments because they never actually save you a time slot. Don't waste your time or money here unless Amira is doing your nails. read more

I have had good experiences here but last time I decided to try the dip and it was so painful! The man who does the dip used an electric file and my nail beds were peeling, chapped and sore for a week after. A few bled a little during the manicure and he did not seem concerned. He also removed the extra glue and polish around the nails by using a high grit file on the edges of my nails. I remember holding my breath and wincing at the time but now I see the results of that rough treatment. I have deep indentations on every one of my nails where he hit them at a sharp angle. The horizontal ridges will take six months to grow out! The polish lasted but I will not go back because I think this man may be the only one who does the dip and it was an awful experience. read more

This is my first time writing a review. Writing this because I am so disappointed. I just got my nails done here about an hour ago. I asked for a regular manicure. The woman doing my nails forgot the topcoat. I didn't notice until I got home. The paint is literally slipping off of my nails whenever I lightly bump something. They will not give me a refund as the manager is not in. Told me to come back tomorrow - I am leaving for a vacation tomorrow (which is why I got my nails done tonight). They did offer to fix it if I came back, however, I don't have time to get back there, in rush hour no less. I feel like I wasted my time and money :/. I was just at this salon this evening. While the nail tech was friendly and the final product looks great - I am very concerned about the hygiene and cleanliness of this salon. I got a dip manicure. Firstly, the tech stuck my fingers into the container of powder that countless other customers fingers have likely been in. Gross. I don't want someone else's finger fungus. Second and lastly, I watched the nail tech put the acetone (or whatever they use to get gel tips off) from the bowl I had just soaked my hands in back into the main squeeze bottle for the work station, to be reused on the next client. I was completely grossed out. Idk if it's me or not, but that is SO unsanitary!! Will not be returning only for that reason. Price was reasonable and staff were friendly. read more

Great place for a pedicure - $25 gets you a hot stone massage, de rigeur, and a thorough pedi! Very nice and ornately decorated inside - it's airy, lots of seating and pedi chairs, and a good selection of polish. I came here from a recommendation of a friend, who did not have any favorite tech. The technician I got was good, but still a bit tentative - I think she was fairly new. However, she still did a good job and was very polite. I upgraded to their $40 signature pedi, which includes the hot stone, paraffin wax, foot massage, tons of creams, etc. It was completely worth it, and my feet were as soft as a baby's bottom afterwards. I came here because a co-worker recommended it to me and got a nice pedi -- complete with hot stones, a hot towel, oil and my choice of lotion (there were 4 different scents to choose from) for only $25. I came with my bf's mom at 5:30pm on a weeknight at the place was hoppin! They carry OPI polish - which is the best in my opinion. The place is clean and a great size and it's got really updated decor and great massage chairs. There are several pedi chairs too so it's not like if you go with a friend or two you'd have to wait long. It's also always nice when they offer you something to drink - we both had bottles of water. But, my toe is butchered! She was using one of those rectangular buffers on by big toe and apparently it was brand new so still pretty rough. Well, part of it sanded a line across the skin of my big toe. She didn't realize she was doing it so I kind of gave a little *yelp* (ya like that?) when it happened and it started bleeding a bit, so she took care of it. But, after the whole pedi, it started bleeding again! A gentleman that seemed like he was a manager or owner busted out a first aid kit complete with something to clean it and Neosporin. It was super awkward and painful but it was an accident so I wasn't necessarily mad. It's just that now my toe looks like crap. :-( read more

I'm giving 2 stars because I used to like coming here! I don't know what happened. There is no consistency with client care. I had the most stressful pedicure today: 1. As I'm picking out my nail color the woman that ended up working with me walked by me twice shoving me like I wasn't even standing there 2. She wants me to not put the nail polish I picked out on the chair and only on the side table. But the side table is broken and tilted so everything slides off soo I got yelled at even after telling her the table is broken? 3. Hot stone massage so hot my skin turned red. 4. This place is ALWAYS packed...which is usually a good sign when it comes to nail salons. And it definitely is a good thing here, they do a really good job! They have a bunch of nail chairs and big, new massage chairs for the pedicures, which is always a plus. We stopped by on a Saturday morning for a mani/pedi before going to a wedding. My mom and I waited shortly up front but were then seated together in the large pedicure chairs in back. While the chairs were nice, everything back there seemed totally crammed in and you almost felt like you couldn't have a conversation with someone because everyone was on top of you listening in. The pedicure itself was nice - we got the standard and it was perfect. After the pedicure, we proceeded to the front of the store to get our nails done. We also got the standard manicure - and it was good. It was disappointing though that they sat my mom and I apart (we were there to catch up AND get nails done). Everyone there was fairly friendly (they just didn't speak to you - I guess that's not not friendly), and the nails looked nice. Twice I have been to Luxury Nails and twice I have been satisfied with the results. First time was for a pedicure, second for an acrylic fill, both times with my best friend. Visit numero uno: Standard pedicure= $25. We thought it was great. Came out looking nice and oh how I loved the massage and hot stones. Visit numero dos: just a fill, $16, cleaned up my nails as normal and did a nice thorough job of it. I got a sparkly red (I was sparkly green before-- wicked witch of the west to Dorothy!) and it came out looking clean and nice. Only thing I wish my lady had done was carry my purse to the table to dry my nails, I was in risk of messing them up! My best friend has hers shaped to a point and the guy made hers even more pointed (upon her request) and outlined the tips in another color for just $5 more! They looked so cute (a pale pink with an oceany-green)! The place is clean, located in a strip mall with lot parking. It can get busy so even though you can be a walk-in (we were, but we came at open), you may do well to make an appointment (btw, you sign in at the counter). Out of all the nail salons I've been to, this one is so far amongst my top favs. The customer service isn't awful nor extraordinary, but they haven't disappointed me so I'll be back. read more

During the week I went for a mani and the lady did a terrific job on my nails. Usually my polish chips within a day or two. So far it's been almost four days and no chipping. =) My only complaint is that she was a little rough when massaging my hands. I had the worst experience today at luxury nails. I have been there in the past and stop going because I felt as though they stopped doing a good job. However, I received a gift card for Christmas and decided to use it today on a dip manicure. I was very disappointed with the experience and the end result. It started with a guy who started to rush to take off my old no chip. He then immediately began to paint my nails for the dip. He was going so fast and I could tell the nails looked sloppy. He used so many coats, and did not clean around the nail that my nails are now so thick and has glue all around them, and underneath the nail. When it began time to file them he used the electric file to trim my cuticules and he made me bleed on 3 of my nails. I also asked him to file them a certain way which he could just not seem to do. While I was waiting for him to finish he started to do another persons nails! So I sat there and waited. He rubbed lotion on my forearm (which hurt more than it felt good) and told me to wash my hands. I went to wash my hands and when I came back he went back to the other customer. I ask if he was done and he said yes. So I walked up to the front and waiting 5 min to pay. When someone came to check me out I asked if there was something to take all the glue off my nails and she said no, it'll come off throughout the day. I paid with my gift card and left. I will not return, not even to use the rest of my gift card. I never write reviews, and I always try to make the best out of situations, but this was rediculous. read more

I have been coming here for years but after a few months I always find myself looking for somewhere else to try because they are so rude! If they are slow you are rushed to pick your color and they rush on the service just in case someone else comes in. I also have noticed during slow times they do not give up trying to get you to get the most expensive manicure/ pedicure. I don't mind a couple times trying to persuade me but 6 times before my feet have even made it in the water??? This is a fairly new place. I went here like two weeks ago for the first time. I got a mani/pedi. It was a pleasing experience. They took me in even though they were 5 minutes away from closing that's a PLUS! For the price of $35.00 I got a manicure that included the usual,but I got warm towel therapy and a nice massage with whatever flavor lotion you wanted. A pedicure that has the warm towel therapy plus a hot stone massage *ahhh :) Even though it has been a little past two weeks my pedicure still looks good.
