While I was still sitting in the pedicure chair and hadn't even put my shoes back on, the technician said something to the receptionist, and the receptionist immediately came over and asked how I would be paying. I told her I would be paying through Zelle, and she gave me my total right then and there so I can pay. This caught me off guard because during my previous visits, payment was always handled at the front desk once I was ready to leave. I also noticed that the customer next to me was not asked to pay while still seated. For context, I was dressed casually in a baggy t-shirt and leggings, and I couldn't help but wonder if that played a role in how I was treated.
