I've been using him for 2+ years, he knows exactly what I want without me asking. For my nails I use Irene. She's sweet as can be! She does a great job on my long nails & does cute designs, too. 10/10 recommend! Jackie takes care of my husband's pedicures and manicures. She always goes above & beyond for him. 10/10 recommend! Really not impressed with the classic pedicure, it was the shortest pedicure I've ever gotten. The massage was basically just rubbing lotion on my legs for a minute. The nail tech ripped the toe dividers out from my feet so aggressively it messed up one of the nails. She "fixed" it and it was still messed up. Will not be back. Normally, I hate going to the nail spa. It's so time consuming and the fumes will knock you out. Today, I tried Luxor Nail Spa- because the ladies at work are always saying how great they are. I had a manicure & pedicure on my natural nails. I was very impressed at the different colors & choices they offer. I had one tech on my nails & toes at the same time. The lady who did my nails was very informative on the prices. And didn't get mad, like most nail place when I tell them not to use that drill on my nails. My pedicure was mediocre. The pedi lady " yani" ( Hispanic) never spoke to me. She never turned on the bubbles ;asked twice. She NEVER asked if I wanted cut shorter or filed- she cut them almost to the quick! Not even lying!! she moved thru process waaayyy to fast; left dead skin around the cuticles. I paid extra for peppermint scrub and massage. Too quick. Never smiled... . The whole experience was hers, not mine. then went onto nails. Wasn't there for that but did it anyway. Asked for hologram. Got some type of glitter on tips- no hologram. Hell the glitter was 1 layer thick and not very even. Certainly not ombré. Very disappointed with entire experience. Won't be back! read more

Very disappointed with the quality of my manicure part of my mani-pedi. After the mediocre pedicure I had a no-polish manicure that my 13 year old granddaughter could have done better. She brought a tiny bowl to soak my nails for literally 1minute, then used a rough emery board so my nails will need to be re-filed at home. She didn't really clean underneath my nails & it was over within a matter of minutes (seriously it was @ 7-8 minutes including the massage oil). Then she tried to charge me $1 more than the $29 pedi + $19 mani. When I questioned it, she corrected the charge. Then she walked away from the front counter. I assume she knew she did a poor job & wouldn't be getting a tip. I tipped her $5 basically for the pedicure but I won't go back read more

I began getting pedicures last year. In that time (before moving to Denison), I went to a couple of different businesses in Oklahoma and never had any issues at either place. I picked Luxor out because of the high rating here on Yelp. I have to say this is the best one yet!! The lady took her time and did an excellent job, and was very personable. I am honestly sad to write this as I really like your salon and honestly have been nothing but impressed with the dipping process when I've come in. This past Friday when I came in however just put a really bad taste in my mouth. The guy who did my nails was kind enough but it was like I was being rushed so he could get to the bday part after me. I had even made an appt. But he rushed and then would leave me sitting forever by myself wondering what was next. Now 3 of my nails already have the dip polish separated and off. 2 days later!! I have been raving about your service to all my friends lately saying I thought I had found my salon after 2 years of kinda bouncing around and never really being happy. But I'm not so sure now. I would say just please remember the single customer who comes in. I even tipped him 15 dollars after the visit cause I at that point still liked how they'd turned out. Typically have an OK experience here, but called to make an appointment on a Saturday and showed up a little early, was not greeted at all by anyone at the front desk. Not even a simple hello. Salon was completely packed, so I'm confused as to why they even scheduled me for an appointment at that time. I stood for a bit before finally sitting down and sat there for at least 20 minutes before finally deciding to leave after someone who walked right in sat down at a table before me. I came to this nail salon while being out of town. I had a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. A very nice gentleman did my pedicure and did an excellent job. However, while having my pedicure a lady came to do my shellac. She stuffed my hands in the water bowl, and tended to one hand, then wandered off for 20 mins while my pedicure was finished. She comes back, rushes through my manicure, does not take the time and care, and sends me on my way. The next day when I'm already headed back to my hometown 5 hours away my shellac peels off. Now, 3 days later and one hand is completely peeled off and the other hand a couple nails have started. I'm so beyond furious and there is no way for me to come back and have it redone. I want a refund and plan to contact the salon in regards to it. read more

Such a great experience!! Husband and I dropped in for pedicures on a Friday afternoon. They were very busy, but had enough techs working to be able to take us right away. We opted to spend the extra $10 for the lavender scrub for the extra treatment and massage. Delightful! We both had excellent pedicures. Massage chairs are great, and the entire place was spotless. Decor is pretty, too! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Husband also got his brows waxed, and they looked perfectly groomed afterward. We'll definitely go back. read more

I live in Canada but spend summers in Sherman visiting my family. My brother and sister in law bought me two $25 Gift certificates ($50) in 2019 to use while I was here. Unfortunately we had never got the opportunity to use them in 2019. The issue date was 6/29/2019 and expiry 6/29/2020. Well we all know the borders were closed during 2020 due to a Global Pandemic so I was not allowed to leave Canada to visit my family. Although this business has already been paid for these gift certificates that expired DURING A PANDEMIC, they will not honor them or offer any partial service even thought the business received full pay for nothing. I find this a disgraceful and would rather take my business to a more deserving place. read more

This place was only so-so. I did the lavender pedicure, got an acrylic set, and requested a design on my nails. After this expensive procedure, my cuticles are still a mess. The guy working on my hands didn't do anything for my cuticles and did very minimum to help cleanup my natural nails underneath. The polish itself isn't great- I could've done this own design on myself and it would've looked just as good. All in all this was a really expensive waste on a salon. read more

I was able to communicate very well with both techs. I really like the salon, the atmosphere, the vibe, and the professionalism of the entire staff. We had a horrible experience! We got there at 9:30 AM on a Saturday. There were four people working and four people already in there. My husband and I were just there for pedicures. Two people were getting mani/pedis and two were getting manis. We were told that we would have a 25 minute wait, which would have been fine. However, after an hour and a half, I left without having gotten a pedicure. They left us to sit in cold water for over an hour. My husband stuck it out while I went to an antique shop. When he came out, he said that the pedicure was OK and they kept apologizing to him that I left because it was taking so long. We finally got in our car to leave at 11:41 AM. Two hours and 10 minutes to get one pedicure instead of two is RIDICULOUS! read more

I've went there before, not a great experience. Gave it another shot, and again not a great experience. Started off by the lady doing my pedicure saying something in her language and then every worker in there looked at me in a not very polite way. Then an hour after doing my toes and 10 before they closed she was doing my gel nails. It hasn't even been a week and they're peeling off and chipping. My cuticles were a mess. Well I guess the music they played earned a star. First, the place was almost empty but they put me at chair for pedicure right next to someone, and the water was cold. She didn't even turn on the jets to massage my feet. Second, she made faces and gestures at my calloused feet and laughed with other employees throughout. Very judgmental,rude, and unsanitary. They pointed at my nieces and started talking in their language & laughed. Very unsanitary, in cosmetology I learned that everything has to be changed and not reused also clean! but in this salon they reused the same towel had Peter jumping from one chair on to the next using the same brush for powder on nails for all 6 girls! Towel full of pieces of nails,cuticles,etc... & the job on the nails was totally disappointing! Crooked,bumpy,dirty on all my nieces! I wouldn't never recommend this place!
