It's an older spot but the service was great, got a French tip gel luxury pedicure the pedicure was $35 and the additional cost for French tip gel was $25 so total was $60. I had a very disappointing experience here. Not only did they cut my finger twice during my appointment, but they also lied about their prices. What I was quoted at the beginning was completely different from what they charged me at the end. That's unprofessional and dishonest. I wanted to love this one ... truly...I went in here as a walk in with my daughter. My daughter was getting a full set and for me, a gel manicure. We had to wait awhile but that's to be expected as a walk in. I read a great yelp review and had high expectations. They were not met when it came to my nails. My daughters manicure alone was outstanding and if I was reviewing her experience, I would give this place 5 stars, clearly. Unfortunately, my gel manicure was one of the worst I have ever had. My nails are uneven, the edges are not finished and the woman who took care of me was not exactly what I would call pleasant. It's probably pretty safe to say I could have done a better job myself (and I am NOT good at polishing my own nails). I am not local but if I was, I probably would try to request a different person or better yet, make an appointment with a specific person. Horrible place to go to! All we wanted was a basic pedicure to remove an ingrown. Tell me why the lady I got was horribly rude! Was trying to talk to her in telling her what I wanted she snatch the menu away from me. I would ask her a question and she would roll her eyes. Told her the water was to hot and completely kept ignoring after I caught her attention she disrespectfully got mad and said the water was cold. I moved from New Jersey 8 months ago for work and have been SO skeptical of going any where to get a gel manicure. I drove 1.5 hours to come here and I regret NOTHING. If you're looking for a new nail saloon, look no further. On top of great manicures they also gave me the best pedicure I've ever had that included hot stones, a deep massage, a foot peel/mold, sugar and orange scrub, hot towels for only $35!! This was not an enjoyable experience. I'm only giving two stars because the pedicure was actually nice, but the service I received for my manicure was very low quality. The manicurist seemed unsure of everything, taking several minutes to file each nail and ask if it was okay. I pointed out two of my natural oval nail shapes and told her that I liked that shape. She filed the first nail squarish, and even after I told her multiple times that I wanted a more round edge and pointed out where I wanted her to file, she continued to file them square. I gave up eventually and have squarish nails. Something of note - their cuticle lotion is watered down. It's the same bottle I've seen at every other salon I've ever been to, but watery. The massage was ok, she left lotion on my hands, left, and came back with a small face washcloth to wipe the lotion off. Far and away from the pedicure massage experience that was actually relaxing. The paint is uneven with bubbles on one nail, but that seemed minor compared to the disappointing experience. For $39, the mani-pedi still is a good deal if you really need both, but I did not enjoy my manicure at all. read more

I got a pedicure and full set, the pedicure was a little weak and I had her go back over the bottom of my feet to make them smoother. Also there was no pressure involved in the massage. Nonetheless, the paint job was done well. My full set was done in about an hour and a half and the guy that did it took his time to make sure everything was the way I liked it. read more

I was a walk in, and while they were busy and couldn't see me right away, I was able to be added to the schedule and just came back when they had an opening later in the afternoon and I am glad I did! This is the best full set I've ever had. I got regular acrylics, and she took the time to shape each finger amazingly. She is also very gentle with the file, no burns or discomfort at all! Amazing! I've been to a few salons around Sherman and this one is by far the best! I actually downloaded Yelp to share my review because I loved it so much. I made an appointment and they were very courteous and made sure that I was helped at the correct time. They soaked off my old nexgen and then took me to a pedicure chair where I got really great treatment. The sugar scrub was great and they made sure that the details on my toes were taken care of. They were incredibly gentle when removing cuticles and made my toes look great! The process of getting new nexgen was just as smooth. They NEVER rushed and made sure to ask me if there was anything that I was unhappy with (shape, length, if everything was even) and it was a wonderful experience. Not too expensive either! read more

I've been here 3 times with my mother to get my nails done. Our first experience was wonderful, but the times after that have been disappointing. On average it takes about 40 minutes to be waited on, all the while your feet are soaking in water that is chilling. Once the staff does begin the manicure and pedicure, they have a nice variety of options including hot towel wraps and paraffin dips that are wonderful, if your lucky and have someone who speaks enough English to understand your requests. Over all (mostly due to long waits before service begins) expect to spend at least 3 hours which is a bit excessive, especially if you're in a rush. Over all I gave them a three mostly because of the value of their packages, and not their service. Still looking for the right nail salon in Sherman. read more

I then started going to First Lady nail salon when it was owned by A man named Brandon. Super Sweet man with a beautiful family that was always in the salon. The family environment is what got me. I didn't go back for like a year because I got lazy, and when I did decide to go back, I found that it was under new ownership. STILL so in love with the atmosphere. The people here now are still so friendly and inviting. I always get the best attitudes and hospitality here. I would so recommend this nail salon. You guys are missin out. This place is wonderful. Julie and Chic were outstanding. I travel a lot and visit a lot of salons and I can tell you this is the best in a very long time. Mani and pedicures aren't rushed. Great nail salon! The lady and gentlemen here were very nice. She did a great job on eyebrow wax. I took my 5 year old for a special treat, and she loved her pedi, too. They didn't have a kids chair, but they had a pillow that allowed her to sit in the regular spa pedicure chair and she could reach the water. I thought the prices were just right; we just got the classic but there were more options available. Even with the classic I had a great leg and foot massage. I will preface this by stating that I normally do not like writing negative reviews or making negative statements but I have to say that my experience was quite bad. Tomorrow is my senior prom and so I went in to get a full set of acrylic nails which are listed to cost $22 (this will be important information later). So I show the woman a picture of the nails that I want and she starts working. At first everything is fine but once the woman completes the design I chose, which was black nails with a glittery silver triangle near my cuticle, I realize that the triangles aren't that even and the glitter was quite streaky. However I don't say anything because I expected her to put on a second coat after they dried; she didn't. So I said okay and moved on to pay, no big deal, I can always try to add more later as I spend a lot of time on my nails. So I go to pay and the man glances at my nails and says I need to pay $60. I realize that I'm being over charged but I didn't say anything because I was afraid and just assumed I read the sign wrong. So I pay and walk outside to wait until my friend finishes getting her toes done and while I'm waiting I start to take a closer look at my nails and realize that three are clearly crooked, two still have excess acrylic stuck underneath them, one has a large strange lump on it which changes it's ballerina/coffin shape into a lopsided, uneven almond. On top of all that none of my nails were painted close enough to my cuticle bed. As someone who cares a lot about their nails I was very upset. Finally I asked my friend to please look at the menu and tell me if I was wrong about the prices or not and she said that the Full Set was set at $22, a manicure was set at $14, and a design was set at $5, so even if you add all of those up he still over charged me and I wasn't given a receipt. So please, if you go to this nail salon be careful. read more
