Matt was our salesperson and he was so passionate about dresses. He was great about making you feel special and help you pick the dress that was an extension of you. I would absolutely recommend him. The business model sounds great, but what you see on Instagram does not match reality. The dresses were often looking dirty and worn. As other people have noted, you can't touch or look at any of the dresses so the experience depends on the stylist picking things out. I think this model is weird because the stylist clearly did not understand what I was communicating even though I had pictures and described what I wanted. The worker called me well in advance to ask me about my venue, style of dresses I like, etc. then, on the day I went for the dress, the stylist asked me the same questions again. What was the point of that ten minute call. I also told the lady and the person on the phone I want a certain style of dress. They kept on bringing out random dresses in styles I told them I did not like. After an hour of politely trying on dresses I didn't like, she said she didn't have any dresses in the style I like. If this is the case then I don't know why they didn't just say that and we both could have saved our time. There was not a lot of selection and it also took forever because she was looking for dresses as we met instead of preparing beforehand so there were long pauses. Maybe come here if you want to try on a variety of styles and are okay with long pauses between trying things on. After having to do alterations and dry cleaning the obviously worn dresses, I'm not sure you are saving money by buying a sample dress either. The dresses were not cheap. read more

Service here is super pleasant and the store is clean. But it's very small and they basically had nothing that I was looking for. Also, if you're a smaller size, they are not likely to have much for you in general. If you want clean and basic, this is a great option! Unfortunately, I am the opposite and wanted something more unique. I like lace, beading, pearls, and glitter. She brought out of few cute options but they just didn't work for me. The value is there if you can find something you like though. Oh, I will say, I didn't like having to wait outside of the building until they were ready for me. We went there for my sister to get a gown. When we went, the experience was fine. She found a dress but wanted to sleep on it. One week later she called and said she wanted to buy the dress. She went & picked it up. When we got home, we tried it on and the zipper was all frayed up to the point we can even get it zipped. She called the store and the manager essentially said "too bad." And made a comment about how zippers aren't that expensive to replace. Customers aren't allowed to touch the dresses, so an employee would've been the only one to rip it. When buying a wedding gown, regardless of the store, I feel like it should not be broken when you buy it, and if it is, there should be a price reduction. I understand it's an "as is" store, but they shouldn't be selling broken stuff when it wasn't broken when she tried it on the first time at the store. Don't make any appointments with dress stores before you go to them. I was practically punished for finding my dress?.. I called them 24 hours before my appointment to let them know I didn't want to waste their time because I had JUST bought my dream dress at a different store, unknowingly. I was on a time crunch to find my dress that weekend because my mom was visiting from out of town and I wouldn't be able to dress shop the following weekend. Anyway, no one answered so I left a voicemail apologizing and explaining my situation. Right after I left that voicemail, I got a charge on my card for that fee. Crazy. I won't sit here and say I wasn't aware of the fee, but that is just SO shady.. And a $150 fee? Really? How expensive.. Thank you Luxe Redux for the added stress that planning weddings and finding a dress already puts on a girl. God forbid a girl finds her dress at a store that isn't yours. read more

The store is super cute and the stylists are super sweet and very attentive, but the options feel very limiting since you can't order dresses. Only trying on dresses that are your current size felt like being boxed in to me, and you weren't allowed to see any of the dresses yourself to be selected. I think if you're a more is more bride, this place isn't a good fit which was surprising since it had so many good reviews I thought there would be more options. But it felt like nothing had a big enough wow factor for me personally of the several I tried on and I had more room in my budget to spend than the options that were given to me. read more

Just had the most incredible dress shopping experience with Fiona at Luxe Redux Bridal!! First, they were so patient with me when I got stuck behind terrible rush hour traffic and let them know I was running late. I came in feeling so discouraged from a previous bridal district experience I had at one of the high-end boutiques with a very pushy and assertive saleswoman. Fiona just turned it all around!! She listened to my likes and dislikes, gave honest opinions when I asked for them, made me and my guests feel so welcomed and cared for! She's also an incredible stylist and will teach you how your seamstress can really make any dress your own by adding whatever details or accessories you can imagine! I so appreciated her expertise and care in this process, and while I didn't walk out with THE one (YET) - she did leave a lasting positive impression that I'll cherish forever! She turned a very overwhelming experience into something so fun and that deserves 10 stars! If I don't find what I'm looking for elsewhere, it's wonderful that she picked 6 dresses that I felt absolutely beautiful in that I could revisit anytime I want =) Kudos to you and your team, Fiona! I was planning for an elopement and had less than four months to find a dress and get it tailored. I knew I had to go off the rack given my timeline, but everywhere else I looked had been disappointing in terms of pricing (astronomical rush fees!) and selection (old-fashioned, 90s looking dresses with dirty lace and beads falling off. Ew.). I was just about to settle for a simple (boring) dress I found online when I decided to give Luxe Redux a try. Thank goodness I did! Their selection is SO cute and very fashion-forward, with labels you'll find at pricier boutiques. Honestly it was hard to pick just one! Their staff is super friendly and helpful--infinitely patient as I went back and forth between 2-3 dresses to narrow it down. The prices are entirely reasonable (I think mine was under $1500 when all was said and done). AND they gave me the name and number of a tailor who did my rush tailoring job at a reasonable price--I even met her in their store for my fittings. I said YES to dress here. I was a little discouraged at first because I was told that my prices range was very limited when calling to make an appointment but I didn't allow that to stop me. Brittany was very nice and worked with me. By not knowing what type of dress I wanted, she picked various of styles for me to try. She let me try on one dress and before the zipper went up, I knew that it wasn't right. She had another dress and once it was zipped up, the dress was PERFECT! It was in my price range and it was the one! She allowed me to try on a veil and a head piece with the gown. I just knew it was the one. I am so happy I stumbled upon Luxe Redux Bridal Boutique!! I started my day with two appointments at other bridal shops but I was just not finding anything that really wowed me and the vibe of the shops was just not my style either. Needless to I felt defeated cause I just didn't know what I wanted in a dress and nothing I tried on wowed me. I was with my future SILs and MIL and I just mentioned that there might be another place called Luxe Redux that I would like to try. I walked in to see if they had time to see me. Just so happened that they had exactly an hour before their next appointment to squeeze me in. Matthew was my stylist and he was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! We walked to the back and he introduced himself and Luxe Redux. We showed him and a few other stylists what we tried on and felt looked good and they were off pulling dresses for me! The whole experience here was so casual and no pressure, Matthew was so sweet and honest (in the best way) and I really appreciated his expert opinion. And in the end I said yes to a dress that I absolutely LOVE! I wanted to write about the expectation-exceeding experience I had with the Luxe in a Box. I decided to order the box after my appointment with their sister store was cancelled due to Covid-19 and after seeing my beautiful dress modeled on their Instagram story! I was able to choose three dresses to have sent to me from hundreds on their site! Being a bride on a budget, I easily found options in my price range. Initially, I was a little sad to be missing out on the experience of being helped into my dress in a bridal shop with my bridesmaids and mom there for support, but I couldn't recommend the at-home-try-on experience more. I did a virtual try on with my mom/bridesmaids from my home. It was great to be able to move around in the dresses and feel totally comfortable while making my decision. Luxe Redux even sent along a couple extras (earrings and a duet to make the try on more fun and special). After I had found "the one", I still had a couple questions about size/alterations. Brittany was in constant communication with me making sure I felt comfortable making my decision! She even reached out to their seamstress to ensure my dress would be able to be taken in in the way I need it to be. If you're on the fence about ordering the Luxe in a Box, you should do it! Everything you need from dresses, to clips, to return instructions is carefully sent to you along with the expertise and professionalism of the store associates! Wonderful service and selection! The girls immediately make you feel comfortable, ask all the right questions, and are knowledgable about the dresses. There were dresses in a wide range of prices along with veils and all the other accessories needed. They were not pushy at all and I was able to find my dress within 30 minutes with their help. Nice thing is you can take the dress home with you versus having to wait and have it ordered. Only thing I would recommend is having water available for customers! read more

I had a great experience at LUXEredux! I went to a bridal show in the Reading Bridal District on a Thursday and saw the perfect dress hanging in the window. I made an appointment for that Saturday because I knew I had to try it on. The girls are so nice in the store and the store itself is so nicely decorated and well-lit. It definitely feels like a high-end bridal store. They let myself, my mom and maid of honor browse the racks and pick out our favorites for me to try on. I tried on that 'special' dress and immediately knew this was different from all of the other dresses I had tried on in the past. I tried on a few others, but felt no pressure from the consultant to come out in a dress I didn't love or even buy the one I really wanted. She did let me know that another girl tried the dress on that morning and cried while wearing it, but at the end of the day it was my decision. The only recommendation I would give to this location is a recommended vendor for cleaning, steaming and alterations. I have a year to get these done (and have found some great options!) but they told me to just look at google reviews for wedding dress cleaners in the area. Their seamstress is associated with their flagship store, not this location. However, I could not recommend this store more to brides looking for designer dresses at discounted prices, a lower cost gown or a dress in a pinch. Shop at other stores with traditional try-on/order in advance models first, so when you come to this store you really know you're making the right decision for you. In addition, their inventory is online (both a picture of dress from the designer and the actual dress on a mannequin, oftentimes they are different colors) so browse online before you go. read more

This company does not care about brides that do not get their wedding gown else where. I made a day trip to the Cincinnati bridal district and had multiple appointments scheduled that day. I found my gown at a different store one hour prior to my appointment with Luxe Redux and I called to cancel. No one reminded me or informed me during that phone call that I would be charged $50 for canceling my appointment within 48 hours of the appointment time. One bride should not be penalized because she found her gown elsewhere. THE WORST POLICY I HAVE EVER HEARD OF. read more

She totally read my style and personality and picked the perfect pieces for me to try on, and I felt 100% comfortable with her from the minute I walked in. Please note I never leave reviews, but had to in this case because my experience was so bad. I showed up 10 minutes early to be courteous to their time and they did not help me until 20 minutes after the start time. I shared with them multiple pictures via text of what I was hoping to find, only to be told that they had one satin gown in the entire store. They showed me dresses that were twice my budget and completely different from what I was envisioning. I almost cried when putting on these dresses because they were not "me" at all but I felt forced to be there. It was a complete waste of time, and after trying on two dresses I told the consultant that I was going to leave. I wish they could have shared beforehand that they were limited in the style I wanted and price range I was working with, but they were obviously not comfortable speaking with clients about things like that. They also lied and said the previous appointment ahead of me was an alteration that had gone over time, but then I saw the same girl trying on dresses at another store after her appointment which was where I was able to find my dress. This was truly so unprofessional and so disappointing as we had such an amazing experience at Luxe few years prior at the Columbus location. There was another party that came into the boutique and seemed extremely hesitant to leave because they had already found the brides dress at another store, but because of their cancellation policy, they still had to show up. I'd never recommend this place to anyone unless you're comfortable with the stylists pulling gowns that don't match your vision or price range, and aren't professional enough to share with you that they aren't able to accommodate your requests. I hope moving forward they can work to be more timely and appropriate with their communication, as wedding dress shopping is such an important day for brides to feel special and this experience was anything but that. read more

After feeling like I would never find the right dress, Morgan read my mind and then blew my mind! She was fun to work with and not at all pushing for a sale. I said yes to my dress at LUXE! I decided to take some time to dress shop while back in my hometown with family. I hadn't really started the dress shopping process yet besides online browsing Preownedweddingdresses.com. I really liked the idea of consignment or sample sale because it's a green way to go and well, cheap(er). And fyi LUXE is basically a sample sale store. I'm the bride who came in with no clear vision of what I wanted besides elegant, sexy and.... really good price? And what saleswoman wants to hear 'low budget'?! But Gabby was very nice, not pushy and gave some good input along the way. I felt very comfortable in the process. There was really only one dress that super caught my eye and it turned out to be the ONE. I don't love most traditional and current bridal styles- which I would say most of the dresses here fall into that category. A very nice selection but not a ton of simple designs, which ultimately is what I decided I wanted. I knew I would be picky and didn't expect to find a dress while in Cincy which made for a pleasant surprise. All in all I feel very satisfied with the decision. Thanks LUXE! read more
