I went to this nail salon about 5 years ago and had a good experience. I went again this past weekend for a manicure for myself and my 7 year old daughter. They were very busy, which seemed positive because that must mean they're good. However, this was not a good experience. They seemed to book too many customers at once and keep you sitting for a long time at their station while they make their rounds. I also did not see them clean their tools which was unsanitary. By the next morning, BOTH my daughter's nails and mine were chipped and flaking off. Two days later the polish had come off completely. A big waste of money. I didn't even bother returning to have them repaint because it was not a good experience. I would not go here. Honestly, the salon itself is very nice & I had no issue. My issue is with their employee, Danny. Danny was very rude when I expressed I was not happy with one of my nails. He tried to gaslight me into believing the nail was "fine" and that I was seeing it wrong? I told him I was unhappy 3 times to which he tried to undermine me every single time. I finally replied "no it is NOT fine, but okay". After this little altercation he was extremely rude, rushed the service, and then skipped doing any cuticle oil, stating rudly & blatantly that "I was done". Clearly Danny was upset that a patron had spoken up about his slacking. I don't live here, but would not come back to this establishment if I did. Edit: I have now been coming here for about a year and a half and can't say enough great things about this salon. The way they have handled Covid protocol has been phenomenal! You can book your apt online or call, and 9 times out of 10 my apt have been right on time, which was my biggest pet peeve with other salons nearby. Steven is my absolute favorite nail tech. The amount of people working at 6pm- 14 to be exact. 2. The interior design is simply gorgeous. I'm such a sucker for all things gold and this salon is absolutely beautiful, down to the bathroom. 3. The uniforms were a great touch. I feel like some of the salons I've tried around here, everyone looks like they rolled out of bed. 4. Complimentary drink I had gel polish change on my hands & toes. from the moment i walked in I knew something was wrong w this place and my gut was right. Burns with the drill, i bled because he had no idea what he was doing, didnt do the color right, sloppy polish job, and bonder on TOP of a wound that was created by the man doing my nails. Got mad when I jerked away after he burned me with the drill and continued just to laugh it off like nothing happen. I was about to walk out of that slon right then and there. I wanted a full acrylic set, with freanch tips and heart on the ring finger. I got just that, but not the color I wanted, the hearts are all kinds of messed up, and he didnt even do the french tips right AT ALL!! I went in for a dip and my nails wasnt filled down around the corners so they started cutting into my fingers, so I went back to see what they could do and the receptionist was rude saying oh that is cause your nails are ingrown...it's literally cuts not INGROWN the nail tech that did my nails was friendly, but the other guy that filed them down was not. I have been to this salon three times and there work was exemplary. However, the last time I got a pedicure there, they charged me to remove the polish from my nails in order to give me the pedicure. I have gotten pedicures for years and never have I been charged to remove the nail polish on my toes prior to the pedicure. CHARGES FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING - A "nail fix" charge was added to my total when there was no nail fixed. One of my acrylic tips fell off while filing. I asked for a new tip back on, but the man dipped over my real nail. No additional fixing or new tip was added. But I was charged for a "fix" anyway. This is the worst salon I have ever been to as they did not understand the design I wanted and prom was in 2 days. I had an appointment at 6 but they got me back as he did not even say his name or when I tried to do a conversation instead he went on his phone and completely ignored me. The colors I wanted on the nails was a French manicure with navy tip as they kept bringing some colors back as it was not navy. I showed about 5 pictures of my navy prom dress and showed them the picture of the nails I want. Then I asked " can you do this" and he automatically said "yes.". Then I realized the colors he was picking out was not right. As I told the guy these colors were not right he huffed at me and said "okay." I made him go back three times to try to get the color. Then the third time he went back he was like "oh it will look darker in the light." So I was like okay and as he started doing the nails he did not take his time with the drill then ended up drilling my nail. He did not even say sorry or anything so it just began to bleed like crazy. I wanted almond and I told him that he did not listen to me instead he did square. As I did not get his name he was not the nicest and as I was like "are you sure it will match?" he was like "yeah yeah it will look better in the dark with your prom dress." My nails were also very sharp and pointy when we left. We got home as we were going to see if it was gonna match my prom dress but it in fact did not and the nail color was like a royal blue on navy. Since my appointment was at 6 they already closed. We called the next day and they took me in as they were gonna redo it just French since they could not do what I wanted. I was very disappointed that they could not do what I wanted but I didn't want them to mess them up again. As I went after school they took them off and redid it into just French nails. They said to me which I thought was very uncalled for since they are the nail tech not me (and as I showed them various pictures of what I want and my prom dress to the other nail tech who messed up my nails) "well next time make sure the color matches the dress before you put it on your nails." I just sat their not saying anything as I looked over the colors the day before and they were navy just like my dress but somehow the nail color before was royal blue. As they did my nails they did them quick. They sat us their for 10 minutes after we were done as we did not know if they were done or anything as they did not say anything to us. Then finally my grandmother who came with me asked very nicely "hey are we ready to go?" and they said hatefully "yes you go can go." We left and I was disappointed as I did not really want French but instead I wanted navy French manicure but I could not trust them to do so since the first time they messed them up. Me and my daughter had our nails done here yesterday. They initially told me that a full set of nails was $35, dip polish was $40 and gel polish would be $25 for toes. When we checked out she informed me that the total was $125. She told me they charged $60 for my daughters instead of the $35 she initially told me, because of the length and the acrylic powder. Even though I was dissatisfied with my nails I still gave them a $10 tip. The next day I went there early and spoke with the manager about my nails and expressed my dissatisfaction and requested that my nails be done over. The owner said they would do them over for no charge but as I was leaving I was called back in to pay. They told me I owed them $20. Clearly their was a miscommunication here! I would've never paid $155 for this nail service. They should've been upfront with the price from the beginning. You don't tell your customer you will do their service for free then wait til they are leaving and tell them you owe them $20 cause they gave you a discount. I will never go there again. read more

My nails looked worst than when I went in because the polish was uneven and bumpy (I wanted one sheer coat so this shouldn't have been a problem). He cut me with a nail file while aggressively filing. When he noticed the blood he just said "ow," and get on filing away. I have been cut here before but was hopeful it was just one bad experience however it continuously is an issue at the salon and because of this I will not be back. The most unorganized business I've encountered since moving to the area. Why bother making an appointment because there is no rhyme or reason for who goes first. It's 2 hours after our appointment time and my granddaughter is just sitting down to get her nails done. If you don't have the employees, stop allowing walkins until appointments are caught up.
