I've been getting my nails done for years at my local nail salon where I live, and I don't think my nails have looked this good. I got a fill-in with Bryan, and he did an excellent job. Urban Nail Bar is very clean, professional, and has an upscale feel, especially with how the nail colors are displayed. They have a large variety of colors as well. Wish there was an Urban Nail Bar near our home!

The place was fairly busy, but there were a few workers not doing anything, so when they asked us both to sit down and filled up the 2 tubs I just figured the people standing around would be helping us. One gentleman started on my wife's pedicure, but I just ended up sitting there. After about 20 or more minutes, the water in the tub had become cool at this point, we asked if someone was going to help me. It's then that we were told that some of the other workers sitting around didn't do pedicures and I'd be waiting till someone finished another patron and could start me. After sitting for that long, the water going cool, no one explaining the situation up to that point and the fact that I didn't want to be started at the same time the wife was finishing so she could wait around, I decided to just leave. It would have been much better to just tell us what the situation was at the start, instead of making it seem like they had time and making me sit around for that long.

The salon is new and I've been here twice. They do a phenomenal job with regular mani gel and regular polish, the pedicures are awesome and I love how they do liquid gel as a full set. As a 1st time customer you input your phone number and information and you have a chance to win 5-15% off your first time experience. They operate by a point system so every 100 pts you earn cash and can use towards your total checkout, they offer beverages (white and red wine, water, tea and more), are very clean, they do nail art from sparkles to ombré, all wear mask and gloves and an abundance of nail colors. Bob did my mani and pedi and I loved it especially when I asked for a strong massage. The interior is different from any other nail bar I have visited before. The pedicure rooms off to the side are private and take away the awkward feeling of everyone seeing every move you make. My husband joined me and we were placed in a room to ourselves so we were able to talk and enjoy each other and our nail techs. The manicure stations were set up for social distancing and I was able to watch as they pulled the tools used for me out of clean sterile single use packs. This is something I haven't found with any other nail bar in Knoxville and I've visited many locations. My gel nails looks amazing and I cannot wait to visit with Lee again.
