It's also obviously a family affair since I'm fairly certain I was the only one there who didn't know anyone. But the way they spoke about mutual friends/family was really evident. I won't comment on my result since someone doing your hair for the first time is going in blind (and I've had people who have done mine several times come out looking like they're going in blind). But it definitely did look awesome. It's quaint, but they offer you drinks (even wine). My one complaint would be the space is too small. Every station was taken and they were even sharing stations (not in a weird way AT ALL) just to get someone in the chair, in the dryer and in the sink. But overall experience was definitely higher end and I will be back (hopefully with Hannah). I do miss the days of living in the city and having one person completely dedicated to color and another completely dedicated to style...that being said they don't have the space for that so not going to try to say something negative about that. Cynthia is my normal hair stylist so I was so happy when I found out that she did hair for weddings also. Cynthia and Abbey traveled to the hotel we were staying at and were nice enough to come bright and early in the morning to start working on all 10 of us girls! They were so professional, punctual, friendly, helpful, fun, and most importantly, made us all look and feel so great for the big day! Cynthia made sure to go over all the details with me ahead of time and helped come up with a timeline for the day to make sure we were all done and ready by 1:30pm. She was great at listening to our hair style ideas, and giving recommendations for what she thought would look best. She was also our DJ for the morning :) Abbey made everyone look so gorgeous with her makeup techniques. All the girls loved their makeup and looked so natural. She even included false eye lashes for all of us. Our pictures turned out amazing, and I was so impressed that our makeup lasted all night.
