Gigi is amazing! She listens to what I would like done, and works with precision to cut my hair. I have been having my hair cut by Gigi since 2022. I highly recommend her and the salon. read more

I had a great experience at Salon 180 and came here because of Rachel, who is an outstanding stylist. This was my second visit with Rachel, and I knew I was in good hands. I haven't colored my hair in over five years, and she helped me to pick the right color to match what I wanted. (Also, I'm glad I went with her recommendation, because she was spot on!) I also opted to have a lot of length cut off, added bangs, and got the perfect styling. My husband's smile upon seeing me said it all!! Rachel is very talented--a true artist, and I highly recommend her services. read more

Wouldn't take a chance on this salon. Not sure they listen or are capable of performing basic services. Very unnatractive as well with very poor lighting. Think it is worth it to pay a bit more and visit a more up-to-date salon with staff more trained. They were very pleasant however. I did not pay as the mistake (in coloring) was so WAY off base - I will not be able to have it corrected either - I must wait for it to either wash out or grow out. read more

I just had my first cut and color with Sarah! She was phenomenal and I absolutely loved my cut. Would highly recommend! read more

I will not be going back here. They canceled my hair cuts without telling me . Then called me to ask for financial aid. Pathetic. Never will go back here. Fortunately I just found some professional hair salon that didn't leave their customers in the cold. read more

Sarah is the best! She gives me the perfect layers to add volume to my curly hair. My hair isn't as curly or as full as it used to be so I love the extra volume! The other stylists also seem very nice and friendly. Not a pretentious place at all, everyone is genuine and cool. read more

Sarah did an amazing job with my hair on my wedding day. I got compliments all day and it held even through the 90 degree heat! I can't recommend Sarah enoug read more

Sarah did an amazing job! She was fast and I love my hair! I would totally recommend her and I will be coming back for life!

You'll do a 180 after you sashay out of this quaint and stylish salon nestled near downtown Lagrange. I have been to this salon twice and have experienced color and cut services by both Sherry and Sarah. They were both excellent at their craft, but I have to say that I was even more impressed by Sarah's professionalism and expertise. She deftly applied foils to my hair in a creamy blonde shade that added dimension to my medium brown hair. Her amazing cut and precise blowout managed to maintain its sleek look throughout a miserable, rainy, October Day. Head on over to Salon 180 for picture perfect hair and reasonably affordable prices that are shear-ly divine. read more

My hair was very long, almost to my waist. I wanted a lot cut off and let my hair stylist know. While facing the mirror, I pulled all of my hair to the front and put my finger halfway between my shoulder and the middle of my breast. She said okay and we started walking to the sink to wash my hair. She said wait, let's cut some off first, which I was fine with since we were going to cut a good amount off anyways. I sit back in the chair and she pulls all of my hair to the back and cuts. She shows me the chunk of hair she cut off and I immediately think that it looks like a lot more than we had to discussed. When I get back up to walk to the sink, I feel the hair at the nape of my neck and realize it's only, maybe, 3-4 inches long. There's no way that my hair in the back will pull forward to the middle of my chest like I said I wanted. I try and calm my thoughts and just tell myself it will grow back and maybe it'll look cute. When she starts cutting she's asking about lengths to cut the hair on the side of my head and I told her no, not that short, I said I wanted it the the middle of my breast (the hair infront is still longer than in back since she pulled it all backwards to make the first cut). I don't know if this is when she realized she messed up or she realized it before and that's why she was asking again about length. She finishes the cut and asks about style. Asks if I want it smooth or beach waves, I say beach waves. When she's all finished and I look, the "beach waves" are my hair completely flat to the middle of my ear and some sad curls on the very end. She asks if I like it, I mumble Mhmm, pay and tip appropriately because I'm not a jerk and then I go in the car and call my husband to cry. When I get home and straightened it, I can see she did a pretty drastic A-line cut, I'm assuming to try and save some length in the front (the front was still 3-4 inches shorter than I asked for). But that's how I know she knows she messed up, because you don't give someone an A-style cut unless they specifically ask for it. I'm very disappointed because I felt like I wasn't listened to, the stylist messed up and never verbally acknowledged it and she couldn't even do a beach wave. I usually get my hair done at salon hype but they couldn't get me in last minute, so I tried this place. I will NEVER come back. read more

I am so happy that I found Salon 180. Very professional and very welcoming. I have been looking for a hair stylist for a long time. Finally I found one. Will recommend the Salon to all of my friends and family. I had Elyse - very friendly not to mention had a nice chat with her. Already booked another appointment with her. I appreciate being able to make appointments online. Dr. Mann read more

I have only been here once and it was a good experience. I should preface by saying I have extremely thick hair and most places have to book extra time just to cut it. I got in the day I called, ,the salon is clean, bright and nice inside, my hair turned out great and I felt great, I had to knock off a star because my girl didn't seem too talkative. I've been back multiple times since and have a regular stylist who is great with my hair and super personable. read more

I called to book an appointment with Lisa. They said she wasn't working there anymore but wouldn't give me any contact info. The girl on the phone actually said she would lose her job if she did. What the heck is going on there? Did some calling around and found her at Salon Noemi in Western Springs. Figured others would want to know as well. What a crap way to have to find my stylist!!! Is that even legal???? read more

I've been going here for a few years now. I was initially set up with Olga, but have been going to her ever since. She's so wonderful! Very talented and patient. I've gotten cuts, single color and highlights and have always been satisfied. They also do nails and makeup, have not experienced that. Cozy atmosphere. Will continue to come back :) read more

I rave to all about this off the "main street" salon. I like the staff, we can always get in at some point that day. And I have never had a bad hair cut. read more

My mom had a horrible experience. A stylist (not a doctor) said she could no longer come without a caregiver (elder discrimination). The entrance to the Salon is not safe for anybody. The concrete uneven step that should have been repaired a years ago. read more

Wow - I am very surprised to read of Karina's experience - it most certainly does not reflect the customer service I have always experienced at Salon 180. My stylist (Elyse) is GREAT, and always encourages me to come back if I felt the cut wasn't short enough, bangs trimmed, etc. The staff makes me feel quite welcomed and comfortable (unlike many other salons I've tried). And as for having feathers put in there, my daughter-in-law has had hers in for three months, and they still look great! I would not hesitate to recommend Salon 180 to anyone and everyone! read more

Great cut and color! Have seen Sarah and Olga. Both are super sweet, great to talk to, and do a great job with my fine, wavy hair.

Went in for a cut. Stylist did a good job listening to what I wanted but also made some small recommendations based on professional experience. I ended up with a nice cut! read more

Olga is wonderful! I now bring my daughter to her as well. I have extremely curly hair and my daughter has thick hair. Olga knows exactly what she's doing. read more

What a great experience! Nice, low-key atmosphere while still being professional; excellent cut and color; reasonably priced; easy online scheduling. Lisa was fabulous -- friendly and attentive while taming my crazy hair. read more

I have been going to Salon 180 for the last three years and have always been very happy with the service. I trust Elyse every other month for everything from a trim to a total hair makeover (color, highlights drastic cut). I also booked with Lisa for a bridesmaid up-do and received compliments all night on my trendy hair style. There is always a smile greeting me at the door and the atmosphere is very friendly. I went from salon to salon in La Grange and Brookfield trying to find a place to call "home" before discovering Salon 180. I have since moved to Naperville and never considered looking for a salon closer to my new home. Salon 180 is worth the drive! read more

I went here to have my hair done for my wedding and I was blown away! Me plus three of my bridesmaids came here to all get our hair done, and I even had my makeup done. Elyse did my hair, and Olga did my makeup and I could not have been happier! Many of my guests commented that my hair looked like a work of art and it stayed in and was perfect all night! My girls who had their hair done there were just as pleased as I was. I even returned here to get my haircut afterwards and Sherry did a great job! My hair can be difficult, and they did a wonderful job. read more

I have been going to Salon 180 for about a year and a half. Elyse is my stylist and she is awesome. She always gives me a great cut/color and she's flexible with her schedule, on time, fast (can work and chat at the same time) and is actually pretty funny. When I want to make a change, she's super supportive yet realistic. Face it ladies, when we bring a picture of a style from Pinterest or People magazine, some one should be able to honestly tell us if it will complement our faces! Thank you Elyse! read more

My family has been going to Salon 180 for the past 20 years. When my daughter was in High School another Salon in the area fried her hair giving her a perm. Sherry at Salon 180 was able to fix her hair and she has been doing our hair ever since. My mother has her hair done weekly and we receive the BEST of customer service. Everyone in the shop is very helpful as my mother uses a walker and they are always there to open doors and help her get around. We have gone through - perms - color - highlights - and many cuts over the years and have always been given the best of treatment. I have recommened friends that have also started going to Salon 180 and I will to recommened them to anyone who will listen. read more

We live in the area and when the "feather" craze swept in I took my 14 year old daughter to Salon 180 to get them. Within 3 weeks the three feathers she had put in had not only frayed but fell out! We were told they should last approx. 3 months. After calling the salon and explaining the situation we were told to bring in the feathers. They not only refused to give my daughter her $35.00 back but wanted to charge her an additional $15.00 to put new ones in!!! I will NEVER patronize this establishment again and have told all my friends and neighbors about the situation. Customer service is definitely dead at Salon 180!!! If you are looking for superb quality feathers at a REASONABLE price check out Prime Cuts just around the block. read more

I saw Olga this evening for the first time. It's been a long time since I had a great cut, and I am so happy that she did that for me today! I am so pleased with my experience, will definitely be back! And price is comparable to many other salons in the area :) read more

My daughter and I got haircuts with a groupon here. The women were great. I think Sarah was the woman who cut my hair. It looked terrific. My daughter is 5, and the other woman had a lot of patience with her. I will go back for my next hair cut. read more

I've been going to Salon 180 for almost 3 years now and would send others there in a heartbeat (and i have). I've been to my fair share of salons that have inadequate stylists, uncomfortable atmospheres and scary prices, Salon 180 is none of those. Lisa does an amazing cut and color and honestly I've never seen bad hair walk out of this place. They just recently added more services like makeup and no chip manicures too! I say check them out! read more

I have been going to Salon 180 for a few years and always see Lisa. She is great! She also cuts my kids' hair and is fantastic with them. I've recommended Salon 180 to several friends, and they have all been happy with the service. The prices are really reasonable too! read more

Salon 180 recently did hair and makeup for the bride and bridal party for my sister's wedding. It was such a great, relaxing atmosphere, especially on a day that could tend to be chaotic. Samantha, who coordinated the appointments was cool under pressure and very accommodating. All the stylists were friendly and patient with ladies who might not know exactly that they wanted. They even played Father of the Bride to get everyone into the Wedding Day spirit. Everyone walked out looking and feeling fantastic - and we all still looked pretty fantastic at the end of the night too! Great experience! read more
