I've noticed, Chan, the owner isn't there as much. The music is loud club style, not relaxing, which is whatever. But my main gripe is that the VIP room isn't being treated as such. I pay $100+ for my pedicures every month because I love how empty and relaxing the VIP room is. It's supposed to be and usually is near empty, quiet, relaxing. But recently it's been packed with people chatting away on their phone, with each other, people not paying for VIP service. Today the technician (I won't name names), was chatting away gossiping about a friend to another employee while doing my pedicure! I understand that if they don't have room, they will use the VIP room for regular pedicures, but that's totally unfair to people paying for a VIP service and not receiving it. If I'm going to experience this moving forward, I might as well look for other places. The same experience for half the price. I arrived around 12pm and was greeted right away. There was only one other customer there and two nail techs. Chloe took care of my pedicure. There were some mishaps on the color application but after I told her, it was corrected. She took her time on my feet and gave me a great foot massage. Then, I went to Kevin for my full set ( gel nails). He rushed through my nails because several people came in after me, one of which had an appointment at 12:30. Kevin cut my fingers a few times while using the mechanical filer. When a finger started to bleed, he apologized but did not put the antiseptic on it like most places do. The color application was poorly done as you can see polish around my fingers. Also, upon inspection in the light, I noticed that the color was not put on evenly. There are also bubbles on a few nails. I paid $65 for the full set and pedicure. I gave the place an extra star because they were nice and they offered me a beverage, which I didn't accept. It seems that many people come here for Mia, who arrived about 1:00. She was very nice and apologized to those who were waiting. There was a sign posted for her that stated that she would be out July 10-24 so if you want to get her, you will have to wait. I'm a little disappointed in the workmanship so I don't think I will be returning.

Let me tell you, I did not think a waterless manicure and pedicure would not work for my rough draft skin, but I was absolutely wrong! My skin has never felt so soft and supple after ANY Mani Pedi... EVER! It had to have been her amazing scrubs and the fact that she did not cut my cuticles or shave layers and layers of my skin off with what I call the cheese grater. I can't stop rubbing my hands and feet together - they are so soft. Ms Kathy's nail studio is a nice relaxing environment. With nice vibes playing throughout.
