I can't say I've been to every nail salon in Vancouver, or even close to 1/4 of them, but I've tried a few in the east Vancouver area and this is by far my favorite. Whenever I think of going somewhere a little closer to my home, I decide that with the price of a pedicure these days, I might as well go to this consistent and reliable salon. I no longer get my fingernails done but I was always pleased when I did, granted, I never asked for creative designs or anything elaborate. Now I primarily go for pedicures. They have several different options to choose from at different price points but they are all very reasonable, especially for the service you get! I used to think the jelly pedicure sounded silly but I suddenly felt drawn to it and I'm glad I gave it a try because it is soooo good! The powder dissolves in water and as you stir your feet around it turns into this thick, warm gel that is really satisfying. I was so disappointed when it was time to drain. Again, I don't do anything fancy on my nails, but the paint job is always consistent. The massages are generous, the chairs are comfortable, they offer complementary beverages (including alcohol, if that's your thing), and the staff are very sweet. It's a modern and upscale looking salon that is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and in a convenient location. I will keep going back! PS: one of the last times I actually had my nails done was for my wedding November of 2024, and they were absolutely flawless. I came in for a gel pedicure, to have my gel polish removed on my nails, and to just get a normal manicure. I was unfortunately pressured into getting gel on my nails. She kept telling me regular polish wasn't a good idea, my nails are too thin, and to get gel..."it will last longer." Well, ONE DAY and $110 plus 20% tip later... my nails polish was literally lifting and peeling off! That's not a me issue, thats how the technician applied it issue. I reached out to the salon, absolutely nothing. So I'm going to leave a review wherever I can to let others know that the salon definitely tries to uncomfortably and awkwardly upsell you on services and the person I got, Tracy, did not do a good job. She burned my fingers while removing the polish with the macanical filer- instead of soaking them, made my nails square when I asked nicely not to have that shape, they were wide, I had to file them myself because thry were so uneven, and rushed the curing process so my nails literally lasted less than 24 hours. What a waste of hard earned money. Oh! Also. When she was doing my pedicure she totally didn't lotion/massage one of my feet/legs. So off putting and such a disappointment. read more

My wife has been inviting me along for pedicure for 6 years and today I went. I have this callous that's more like a mountain from wearing boots has become painful. I didn't know what to expect and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The lady made a mumbling wow when she sat down. Terrible Customer Service and a Horrible Experience This was one of the worst nail salon experiences I have ever had in my entire life. The customer service here is absolutely unacceptable. The person running the place, who claimed to have gone to cosmetology school, refused to fix a broken acrylic nail that another technician had done just a day earlier. Instead of offering a simple fix, he acted pretentious and dismissive. What's worse, they refused to let anyone else fix the broken nail simply because a specific girl did it the day before. They insisted I wait for her specifically, even though they could have had someone else do the repair. When I asked about this, the staff laughed at me in a condescending way, acting like I was stupid, and sarcastically suggested I ask another customer to jump in front of them for a fix. Their attitude was utterly disrespectful and rude. I spent $160 on a manicure, only for the nail to break the very next day. When I returned, they blamed me for the breakage and then told me I had to wait 45 minutes for the same technician to fix it--despite the fact that no one else was willing or able to do acrylics. Their overcharging, lack of professionalism, and dismissive attitude are truly appalling. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is overrated and their customer service is sour, unprofessional, and downright insulting. Save yourself the trouble--go somewhere else where you'll be treated with respect and competence. read more

So I don't really want to shame this whole place so I gave it 2 stars. But I decided to take my 8 year old daughter to get her first mani and pedi. I wanted to get a full set of acrylic and a pedi. I think his name was Nolan, he did my pedicure. He was very nice, gentle and professional. He treated me with respect and took his time. The lady that did my daughters mani and pedi was the same. Then it all changed when I got my full set. I think her name was Teresa. She sat at the 2nd table from the front. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she told me she can do it. This lady was rude, she gave me a ton of attitude, huff and puffed because she said she couldn't understand me and would roll her eyes and shake her head anytime I tried to ask her about my nails. She literally stared at me like I was stupid and come to find out she was the one who didn't know what she was talking about. I asked her if they did the "solar" acrylic or is this just regular acrylic and literally laughed in my face and said she didn't know what I was talking about. So I googled it because I thought maybe I said it wrong. (It had been almost 3 years since I had my nails done.) when I found out it actually was called solar, I looked at her and said "do you guys not do solar nails anymore?" And she said "that's what this is." And looked at me like I was dumb. I tried to explain to her that when I used to get my nails done I had to either ask for it or they offered for an extra charge. She didn't respond or look up, she just shook her head. There website shows that they can do some badass designs but she couldn't even do a marble nail but she said she could. She tried over and over for 20 minutes and after another lady tried and it looked absolutely awful I said just paint it a solid color. I chose that color because I had a wedding to attend and it matched my dress. So instead of just leaving the nail dryer in one spot, where I could just pop my hand out and switch with my other, she kept moving the black light and kept bumping my nails. So as I was putting my nail in she would quickly move it the same time and we would clash and it would touch the fresh painted nail and she literally blamed me for doing it. Everytime I showed her the dent in my nail after it dried, she would say "you did did that," and then would huff and buff(like I was such an inconvenience). After she was finished she literally dropped my hands, jerked her chair back really quick, stood up and said "finished." Like she couldn't wait for me to leave. Then after that she just turned around and started doing something else. It was absolutely awful. I'm not confrontational, and because I'm such a people pleaser I wasn't rude back, I literally smiled the whole time and kept thanking her and telling her they looked great even though I wanted to cry because of how rude she was! I didn't realize how bad my nails looked till I got home. I just didn't understand what all the hostility was about, even my 8 year old noticed how rude she was being to me. I literally dropped 205 dollars on an 8 year old to get a mani and pedi which they give you a "deal" for kids which was 40. They did tell me that getting gel would charge extra and a design which was fine but I guess it's my fault for not asking how much. Because I paid 75 for just my daughter. The girl at the desk said they charged me 15 and 20 extra for getting gel and a design. I don't remember what costed 15 and what costed 20 but being charged 15 or 20 extra for a sticker is wild. But whatever. Plus my pedicure (which was worth it) and then my awful full set of acrylic. So if you minus 75 from 205, mine were 130. Pedicure was on point. But my nails? Nothing like what I wanted and they are uneven. Do not go to Teresa or whoever sits in the second desk. Because of her I will not go back ever and I'm thinking about seriously doing a chargeback on my card if they don't refund me some of my money. I'm going to speak to the manager about the crappy quality and service i received especially droppin that much money. I was excited while we were getting our pedis that I found a good nail salon that I can take me and my daughter to so that we can have little mommy and daughter "dates." But after my pedicure that completely changed when I met the lady that did my set. She was completely unprofessional and poor quality as you can see. So, ive been to this salon 4 times now. 3 different techs have done my nails. Its been 50/50 whether i like my nails at the end. However after this last time, i will not be coming back. Lets start with the fact that each time i have been here, the staff has been very unwelcoming and it feels like my mere presence is inconvenient. The last straw however was that i came in to get a dip manicure (with an appointment mind you) with Linh. I asked for a simple ombre dip. Shes always been nice and did good work previously. However this time was different. She didnt prep my nails AT ALL. Didnt clean or prep my cuticles, two of my nails came out quite unevenly painted, left quite a bit of paint on my skin, rough on my skin (it still hurts two hours later), and disregarded me when i mentioned one of my nails was a little uneven. Theres a language barrier, but from my understanding she was telling me that ombre is hard to do, and i should have asked for something else. I just think that if she thought ombre was hard she couldve said so and i wouldve chosen a different nail design. But she told me she could do it at the start. A simple "im sorry" wouldve worked too ! Im an artist too and if i did what she did i wouldve offered to either fix it or some type of compensation. Idk. Just bad customer service. She kept walking around talking to other technicians, answering phone calls, taking payments, registering guests etc...
