Tracy is a perfectionist!!! And if you want any nail designs, she is very talented and creative.

More horrible looking toes

I made two pedicures for my mom & I. We get to our appt and we start soaking our feet. My mom's pedicure starts at 5pm and I have to wait about ten minutes. Not a big deal. I had a little bit of gel polish on my toes (I'm talking 5/10 toes and not fully painted bc my last pedicure was in August!!) the technician comes over and keeps harassing me to do gel again. I said no thank you I was taking a break bc I go more frequently in the winter & do gel in the summer so it lasts for the beach/pool. Told me if I do gel she won't charge me to take off the left over polish on my toes unless I do gel. I said no thank you. Got harassed prob 5 more times. At this point I was annoyed I had to pay but I didn't have a choice i was already there couldn't take it off myself. She does my pedicure and she was extremely odd behavior making me feel uncomfortable. Talking under her breath (not English) and hysterically laughing throughout my time. My mom and I thought it was bizarre. They start painting my toes first even though i needed removal of the few toes with gel & starting ten mins after my mom. My mom likes my color. She asks to use the same color. The lady gets her a new color (diff shade and brand) and tells us my color is old & this one is better. I even made a comment "old? I get the old polish??" She asks for my color. Again told it's old and this color is better. She didn't like the new color bc it was not the same as mine and just went back to the original one she picked after going back and forth with them a few times!!! Again weird. Before I go to dry, I hand her a $10 tip. It was five dollar bills and one five dollar bill. I rolled it up & handed it to her. She takes the money and shows it to the women next to her doing my mom nails and laughs. Puts it in her pocket. It was so strange, I even asked if there was something wrong. She laughs and shakes her head. So I'm beside myself at this point I want to get the hell out of here. I dry my toes for 15/20 mins and leave in my own flip flops. I had to run an errand (pick up order) and drive back home prob 20 more mins of drying in my flip flops. When I walk in the house and look at my toes they look moldy and chunky. They were painted horrible (poliah on skin not cleaned up) and the polish had to be expired or old. I called and complained and they told me to come back to repaint them. I wanted a refund after the horrible service and the way my toes look after $50 spent. They refused. I appreciate the offer to "fix" them but I will never, everrrr step in there again. So I am going elsewhere to pay more money to fix my moldy looking feet! I don't like to leave bad reviews to just leave them but I'm forewarning others before stepping in this establishment. Go elsewhere!!!!! And I hate my feet for me to post pictures of them rly speaks volume

Bleeding nails

Third time going and will not be back. The nail tech today cut almost every single one of my fingers, leaving me bleeding and in pain. Did not apologize or even acknowledge me when I told her she was hurting me. One of the white french lines came out super thick and right after she painted it, I asked if she could fix it and she told me "too late" and kept going. I paid $62 dollars for it.

This is my forever nail spot! Sonia is absolutely amazing and always does such an amazing job with my nails! She does incredible work and her creativity is endless!

Ended up here by accident, the salons closer to me happened to be closed on Sunday. But I'm glad I got to check this place out - it's beautiful inside, the decor and chandeliers are so pretty and inviting. I was a walk in and they took me right away. I love my gel manicure and even got a design that I wasn't planning on but am super happy with! I definitely plan to come back. Make sure to bring cash for tip as you can't put it on your card AND if you pay in cash you get a card and after a certain amount of appointments and paying in cash you get money off. So next time I'll definitely be bringing cash!!

Index finger already has chip, ring finger has bumps in the polish.

Overall, not impressed. I've been to Lux Nails in Oxford twice - once for a standard manicure, and once for a pedicure and gel manicure. The first time, the manicurist cut my cuticles so low that they bled (not very enjoyable for something that's meant to be relaxing!). I decided to go back another time because the location is convenient and maybe the low cuticle-cutting was a one-time thing. The pedicure I got the second time I went was good, I had no complaints and the polish looks good and professional. I have many complaints with the gel manicure, however. Again (different manicurist), my cuticles were cut so low that they bled. This has never happened any other time I've gotten my nails done, aside from the first time I went to Lux Nails. Additionally, after leaving, I noticed that one of my nails has bumps in the polish (understandable for a normal manicure, not for gel). Another nail had gel polish all over the side of my finger, which peeled back the gel on the actual nail when I tried to get it off of my skin. Furthermore, today (not even 24 hours later), I noticed that another nail is already chipped. If any one of these things had happened individually, I could chalk it up to a bad day (everything can't be perfect all the time), but I really do not expect so many issues in one manicure. Definitely disappointing and not worth the price for the quality I got. I will not be going back. The only thing that makes me give them 2 stars instead of 1 is that the pedicure was fine!

Cut and infected finger.

Went in for a gel mani & gel pedi. The pedi was fantastic. Super relaxing & she did a great job. As for the mani, she cut my cuticles so low to where 5 fingers were bleeding & one of the cuts is infected now. She also made my thumb nail super uneven, I didn't think to look at that much of detail so I didn't notice until I made it back home although I shouldn't really have to worry about it because it's there job to make sure they're straight. The mani was really quick almost like she just wanted me out. More or less just clipped my nails & painted. Not that enjoyable. Honestly if my finger didn't get infected I would probably go back, but for now I will have to pass.

Got the dip powder and it looks amazing! The girl doing my nails checked with me when doing them to make sure each nail looked exactly right.

How did I not know about this place?! I almost feel like I don't want to tell you all about it…read morebecause then I won't have it to myself! I have been traveling up to an hour to check out different spas to have dermaplaning done. Meanwhile- Natasha was literally a mile from my house! If you've read any of my past reviews you might know that I was both a massage therapist and an esthetician...so I know a thing or two about a good service. Natasha competes with some of the best providers I've had at any upscale spa. I've paid $200 to have this exact service done elsewhere with results subpar to this one. And at a FRACTION of the price (and better than Groupon prices) . So good that I'll definitely be buying a series next month when I go back in. It's a tiny, cozy spot. Very clean and sanitary (she literally has a sink she washes her hands in the room with). Her table is so warm and even massages while you get your facial done. I plan on going back this week for a pedicure!

I wasn't looking for anything special and told her I was looking to relax. And that's exactly what I did. It included a neck and arm massage that was heavenly. I left and my face felt amazing. I noticed how much better My neck and jawline looked, and my skin was so soft. I will definitely be going back for some specific treatments.

Hubby got me a spa day for my birthday. I called and got an appointment for a pedi, facial and salt…read moreroom. The girls are all so sweet and treat you like a queen. I started with filling out the questionnaire and a got a delicious iced coffee. I was set up with Savannah for my pedicure. It's been all winter so she had her work set out for her. The tools are all clean and sealed and the wash tubs for your feet are copper and sterilized in between clients which is very nice. They have a nice comfortable chair with a leg rest and a herbal neck wrap. I am a large woman and have a hard time usually with being uncomfortable during pedicures but they made me very comfortable and were attentive to my needs. Perfect pedi 10/10 Next I went to see Jordan for my first ever facial. It was a luxurious experience that started with cleansing and a nice scrub followed by steaming and massage. She was a delight to chat with and made me feel very at home. I have back issues but was not uncomfortable at all and being a big person the table was very ample and I felt very safe. 10/10 Finally I took a 10 minute salt soak in the salt booth. I have asthma and allergies and wanted to try it out. I've heard so many great things. It is quite the experience. Billowing salt through the air in the nose out the mouth. I was told to expect some coughing and nose running which did happen but when I was done it is the first time in 13 days I didn't have wheezing or noise in my lungs and I felt rejuvenated and excited to come back again for another round. This place is set up like a little store as well with plants and other cute things you can purchase. I would say give the ladies a try for all of your pampering needs. They are excellent.
