The third person in our group, did not have the same experience. The nail tech was non communicative, gruff and seemed to be annoyed she had to do her job. The salon could use some updating but it was clean and they seem to practice good hygiene in providing service.

It's been a year and in that time I've seen exactly what I feared would happen come to life. As…read moremore and more people flocked to this location (because there isn't another decent spot for nails and wax nearby) the quality of service has diminished. The appointments are basically mandatory now as I have myself and witnessed other walk ins be turned away for the day. My schedule is unpredictable so I have to go when life makes me time whenever that is- but sadly I can never just pop-in to get a simple eyebrow wax or a basic manicure or pedi without at least a days notice. I really just needed a manicure badly for an event and I went in at 3:30 pm on a Monday basically begging for a wax and manicure - they said no to the wax but I was given the rudest manicure ever when I declined a gel manicure and opted for a regular French. The entire time the tech was saying it's only going to last a day and that I should just get the gel .. that she could quickly change it anytime. I was so annoyed - why did you say you were so busy and pressed for time while trying to redo a service I asked for ? Prior to that I had to call ahead to get an eyebrow wax and I was just rushed into a room with a tech who must have herself been in the middle of a service for someone else because when I asked her to pluck a few strays (couldn't dare ask for another face wax service- she made me feel like an inconvenience already) she laughed at me and basically shoved me off the table, opened the door and said sorry she was busy. I don't even blame her - I mean the appointment setter that answered the phone could have said that they were too busy or tried another time. I'm sad because it's a dead zone in North Brookfield for any services or quality... for anything and Bliss changed that for me and a lot of others but very sadly they are falling in with the rest.

She asked if I was okay and I said yes and then she cut very deep and high into my toe nail. It has now been about 36 hours and my big toe is red, hot, and swollen in the area. I feel that she went beyond what a nail salon should do and tried to alter the shape of my nail from the bed the way a doctor would. It is very unsettling and sore. Which is a bummer because the color is lovely and the location is convenient. Unfortunately, the polish already chipping. Disappointed

I specifically sought this place out because I wanted to book with one particular nail artist. I…read morewas getting a design that she had done previously so I knew I would be in good hands. The day before my appointment, I received a text to confirm my appointment with a different artist. Mind you, the girl I chose is literally the only reason I booked there. So I went on the website and changed it to the artist I originally booked, since she was still available. Then, TEN MINUTES before my appointment, I get a text saying a third artist is ready to see me. I ended up just going with it because obviously I wasn't going to get seen by the artist I wanted (who wasn't even busy until a walk-in (!) showed up like 40 minutes after me). My artist was a total sweetheart, but the quality wasn't up to the standard I booked. Not only did the design lack dimension, but the undersides of the nails were a mess. This happens to me time and time again - I've yet to find a nail salon who honors the booking I made instead of swapping me to someone else because "they can do it too". Like I get that your newer artists need work too, but when someone books nail art, and rebooks with the same artist when you try to swap them, wouldn't you assume they have their heart set on one person? Business owners, stop doing this! I'm better off booking on Instagram directly with someone at this point.

Honestly, this is the worst manicure I've ever had. I'm so disappointed. Don't waste your money going to this place. Trust in my review. if i had torn up $65 i would have been happier everything was going well until the end when it was time to pay. The day before, I went to schedule my appointment and asked how to pay, and they told me cash, card, Venmo. When I went to pay, I showed my American Express card and it was declined twice, but I didn't see it go through the machine. The lady said there was "no money", even though my card has unlimited by American Express . I'm sure she was canceling the transaction and didn't want to go through it because of the high fee on the card. She gave me the option to withdraw money from the machine at the location, which charges a ridiculous fee to withdraw. After long minutos I found my debit card and paid it . But it was a total embarrassment. If I had known, I would have gone to the bank to withdraw money to pay the nail and tips before going to the salon. Since I don't use VEMNO, unfortunately I couldn't give tips (and that's not my habit because I always give generous tips). I keep thinking if I hadn't had my debit card, the embarrassment would have been much worse, since my American Express card has unlimited money. I felt bad. I won't be going back.
