Luv'ed the brownies!! We had a chance to try these at the Building Kidz of San Jose Easter event, and was the perfect dessert. It disappeared into our kids tummies faster than you can say "Yum!" Enjoyed interacting with Andrea the owner who was so graceful and welcoming! Can't wait for our next brownie fix! read more

Ran into this food truck at an outdoor freestyle festival. Very brownie centric, with the ice cream permutations being the most alluring. Turned into the perfect sugar-filled treat to power me through the 3.5 hours concert! Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich: This was so indulgent! A buttery and rich and very chocolatey brownie. Even sliced in two, each side was still super rich. WIth lots of creamy vanilla ice inbetween. There was too much ice cream to eat this like a sandwich, but I'm not complaining. WIth a spoon, it was like a lux brownie sundae where all you need is the delicious brownie. read more

I needed caffeine and after looking at my option of food trucks at PayPal park, decided to get the Whipped Cubano espresso over ice cream for $12.50. I knew this was going to be more of a dessert but wow was this sweet! And I don't mean that as a compliment. If you have a really sweet tooth and like coffee, this is for you. For me, the sweetness level needed to be taken down 50%-70%. My mouth was left dry and felt more jittery from the sugar than the caffeine. I'll give +1 for the friendliness of the staff. 4% surcharge for using credit card. A portion of all sales supposedly goes to their scholarship fund. read more

Brownie had great flavor and I enjoyed it very much. I am not one that eats a lot of chocolate but really enjoyed this brownie. Just make sure you have milk or water handy afterwards as the brownie chocolate flavor is very strong. The owner of Luvs is very nice and has great customer service that is very community oriented which is refreshing. Highly recommend if you want to try something new and sweet. read more

Really good Brownies! If you are having a sweet-tooth and you like brownies you should totally check out this brownie truck. I ordered the Brownie Sunday, and it comes with ice cream, sprinkles, and heart shaped brownies. I enjoyed it! Also, the owner is very friendly and nice. read more

I've ordered from this food truck a couple times (Cupertino Night Market a couple years ago, and Los Gatos Art and Wine Festival this past weekend), and both times the dessert was delicious and chocolatey, although not too unique or extraordinary. This past Sunday, my bf and I shared the original heart shaped brownie, and it was a small but satisfying treat to savor while enjoying live music at the event we attended. Service was standard, the staff working hard to get orders out. I have no complaints about my experience here. read more

I was excited to try the brownies at Luvs Brownies during the Quakers game. While the brownies themselves were tasty, the experience left me a bit unseen as a customer. I placed a simple order for two brownies and waited patiently, but another customer's much larger order--placed after mine--was prepared and handed out before mine. It appeared the vendor knew them personally, which may have influenced the order priority. As a paying customer, I would have appreciated being served in the order purchase was made. It left me feeling overlooked and like my time as a customer didn't matter as much as a familiar face. read more

This is a delightful dessert truck that parks in front of where I work weekly. I came here for the first time with a coworker during lunch and loved to see the different options of sweet treats this truck has to offer. Obviously they're well known for their heart shaped brownies. My coworker had the ice cream sandwich (2 brownies with vanilla ice cream in the middle). I actually had one of their drinks - the Mango Passion Fruit, which was a blended refreshing delight (almost reminded me of a healthier i-cee lol). Very much needed during a hot summer day as a mid-day pick me up on a Monday. The lady taking our order was also super friendly. Definitely would come back to this spot again! read more

Caught Luv's at the Cupertino Night Market and they were a joy to interact with. The energy and positive vibes in the truck were real and you could feel it even from behind the masks! The heart-shaped brownies is cute, but it's another level of neat that they're actively supporting a scholarship fund with their proceeds, so definitely a bonus for sweet tooths to further indulge in their chocolatey delights! Despite their menus not actually having just a plain brownie by itself, they happily threw that together upon request. I do appreciate the accomodation since I can't have too much cold stuff at once, so I won by getting a lovely brownie and my brother was happy sipping his brownied-espresso. Orders generally came out pretty fast too, so nothing wrong on their logistics end either. ==Original Brownie [5/5]== Solid brownie, so I can't complain. Bonus colorful sprinkles and chocolate sauce on top also makes for a very nice look to boot. All-in-all, very soft and goopy in the middle and not as sugary as I'd make it out to be. ==Whipped Cubano Espresso w/ brownie [5/5]== I'm a taking my brother's word for it that he was perfectly happy with his espresso being very smooth and quite enjoyable with the mini brownie attached to it. Definitely check these guys out if you happen upon their truck, or check out their website too. I don't believe they actually have a storefront. read more

I work at VMC Hospital and had the pleasure of ordering a Brownie Ice cream sandwich from Luv's food truck. Andrea was very nice and personable. I just happened to be a lucky patron(I walked up to her truck early before the rush) and was rewarded with commemorative quarters when I gave her cash. I really love her warm brownie ice cream sandwiches, they're delicious and always taste homemade. I love her friendly service as well, thanks again. read more

Saw this trucky at culture market night at Eaststridge parking lot. I'm a sugar fanatic so when I saw the bright white red truck with the word Luv's Brownies ya know daddy had to stop by to check them out. Service was super friendly and quick. You can feel the smile through the mask. During this stop I ordered strawberry lemonade with mint and a brownie ice cream sandwich vanilla ice cream. Drink was superb. Yummy. Brownie ice cream sandwich so damn good. I would have gotten another one, but daddy is on a diet. Gooey goodness with a slap of oh my Gawd. If you see this truckie. Come through. It's worth the stop. read more

To start off this little piece of heaven on wheels was parked today at the Rosegarden Farmers Market. This was my first time at that FM so not sure if they are here every Saturday but glad they were here today. I tried their café cubano (oat milk) which was not only delicious but light.... Not too heavy, however, if you get the ice cream option you may get a creamier denser feel. The gals were super nice and I even got a sample of a hot brownine (their specialty) and if they are here next weekend I'm buying some, they were delicious! Please help support our small businesses, we want and need them here in SJ! Ample parking being the FM is at a school.... Come check them out! read more

My boyfriend took me here on a whim and we instantly wanted to try their brownies out. We stared at the truck for a good 10minutes before finally mustering up the courage to ask the cashier if I could just have a brownie rather than an ice cream sandwich, sundae, or drink (whatever the heck they do with their brownies otherwise). It was initially misleading because there weren't any pictures of the option for brownies, just their dessert concoctions. So I went up to ask if they sold just brownies, and I was shot down by the gentleman telling me "not today". So as I walked away, the lady spoke in her microphone and said "She wants only the brownie? Sure! She can have just the brownie!" Lol. I was elated so then I ordered a little brownie. For a whopping $7, it was worth it. She had to confirm as I was leaving that I "just wanted the brownie", and off we went digging and loving each and every bite! One suggestion I guess would be that they offer a selection on their menu for "just a brownie" because clearly, the name implies that they sell brownies. It would be a disappointment to have to go up and find they only would serve a brownie in a sundae, ice cream sandwich, or drink option. Also, there was a Mr. Softie truck next to them so I didn't want to have even more ice cream after already grabbing a softie next door. Delicious, gooey, and not overly sweet. This was the perfect brownie. read more

Personally, normal brownie. Nothing special. I purchased the ice cream brownie sandwich. The scoop of ice cream was small, about the portion of a regular spoon. It was advertised to be two pieces of brownies with ice cream in the middle, but instead they cut the brownie so bad it was just a brownie with a scoop under it. Wish i took a photo. You're better off going to an actual pastries shop for a brownie. Experienced this at the wine and arts festival. I would strongly suggest going elsewhere. read more

I would not have written this if I did not check my credit card charge. And the charge is not a big deal but I have lost all trust in this place. We paid $15 for 2 ice creams. Not the issue I am taking about here. The lady at the counter seemed frustrated with something and was speaking with us through the mic which did not work but she thought it did. Of course we could not hear her properly and she was definitely not accommodating. That is all fine. People have bad days and I can sympathize. But then we asked for extra spoons and we went through the same routine - her yelling through the window at us saying 25 cents for each spoon! Only one spoon included with each ice cream. Once I understood I told her I don't mind paying, just tell us properly. Here is where I lost trust - she said $1 for 4 spoons and she actually charged us $1.50. Not about the extra .50, I could care less. But it was her entire behavior with us and on top of it overcharging without telling us. Not good. Ice cream she gave us was good. Will avoid going here in f I see her again. read more

YUM!!!!! SOO GOOD!! Here's what happened... A birthday event Saturday: Birthday girl hates cake but loves Brownies with nuts. I looked everywhere and could not find anything with less than a week to go. Then Luv's Brownie popped up. I placed my order with confidence and ease. She even delivered to me on time as she said. So, I ordered a brownie cake and 1 dz heart shaped brownies. The cake was perfect. Exactly what I requested and ordered. You can see it was loaded with nuts and chocolate chips. She decorated perfectly to my request. The Heart shaped brownies on a stick was sooo darn cute! So Moist and yummy! They are a good size ; enough to save for later ;) Wrapped in cellophane and a bow. I'm a bit upset right now cos everyone took them and no one left me any! But no worries, I'll definitely order again and tell my colleagues about this wonderfully delicious brownie gem! read more

We took a family trip to the farmers market. While we were there my 6 year old saw the brownies and balloons so we got in line. Being the coffee liver that I am I had to try the whipped cafe cubano over ice cream. I probably loved my order more than my daughter loved hers because it was delicious. My daughter left super happy with a brownie and balloon. My one year old loved getting a balloon too. The staff was friendly and they had good music playing out of the truck. Will def order my drink again. read more
