This was my first reflexology service and it was a good experience. The place was quiet and dimly lit. The rooms are separated with beaded/bamboo curtains to give you partial privacy and lined with leather chairs, ottomans, and end tables here and there in between. The masseuses started with a short shoulder massage which was nicely unexpected since we purchased a 60 minute foot massage. The guys soaked our feet and offered us water before starting our service. I've never had a service strictly on my feet, but after 9 months of waddling around, my feet were in need of some TLC. There is a communication barrier so they responded more to our facial expressions, twitches, and sighs rather than verbally telling them where it hurts and what to focus on. However, the masseuse called over the woman at the front desk and we were able to ask if the masseuse could massage my moms right arm and hand for an additional fee. Overall, a good first experience and I would go back again.

This is a great Chinese foot massage spot. They also offer full body massage. I must underline for those who have not been to a Chinese massage spa, this is NOT like American luxury spas. This is what I would call a "no frills" spa- that is, you get what you pay for- so don't expect a luxury experience. That said, I think it is very reasonable for what they offer, less than half of a traditional American massage spa, without the amenities. All I care about is the massage, so to me it's worth the price. Some rooms are only semi-private: beaded screens separate rooms of two chair/beds; obvs you wear your clothes for the experience. Good price for good experience.

Location is very simple to get to and I have been a couple times for back and foot rubs, it's very calming and helps with knots.

As a first time customer I tried to book online for the first time but I received an error message…read more I called and left a voicemail. Ty called me back the same day and scheduled my appointment. She didn't charge me a deposit and allowed me to pay the day of my appointment. I even emailed them before the appointment to fill out my forms and they were sent promptly. My actual session with Anne was so amazing. She asked if the pressure and temp were ok. In the end she asked if I had any questions and I told her she did this thing on my back where it felt like she was popping little jelly balls. She explained that's the myofascial and how it builds up and talked about the specific massage Ty does for that. I highly recommend and will be going back! They are pretty booked up but I was still able to book something about two weeks out. Excited to go back.

I also feel like I have made a new friend. That was honestly the best massage I have ever received, and she is so lovely. Also, the establishment is so cozy and smells delightful! Rising Earth Massage is a great place to go to be pampered, but also if you have any chronic pain issues, like I do. I am so excited about becoming a regular-esp bc I have suffered long enough and finally feel like I found someone who can actually help. If you haven't yet booked with Ty, or anyone at Rising Earth, what are you waiting for?! Treat yourself! And thanks for making my day, Ty!!!!

I'm acupuncture's newest best friend. I tell everyone I know that it's one of the best things you…read morecan do for your body. It has helped so much with my overall health, balance, stress relief and a past knee injury. I do yoga often and consider the two to go hand in hand. It's a great way to let go of life's normal stresses and meditate or try to rest your thoughts during your visit. I first tried out acupuncture after hearing from a friend that it helped her so much with stress reduction and relaxation. I thought hey, might as well try it out. I started back in October and have been going on the regular ever since. Heather is the owner and acupuncturist. I love her - she's friendly and sweet, makes you feel comfortable, and knows her stuff when it comes to any question you might have about your body and if acupuncture can help (it usually can). I always feel wonderful after my treatments and my knee pain is virtually gone now. Many health insurance plans allow for half price treatments for a certain number of visits, which makes it much more cost effective. Heather can answer those questions too. Also, the rooms are cozy and warm. You have the option to listen to soothing music, which I prefer to drown out other sounds and it's good white noise. She often has an additional heat lamp going. I believe it helps to accelerate the release of heat from whatever area is causing you trouble (in my case my knee). For those of you fearing needles, these are nothing. They are about the thickness of a strand of hair so you barely feel anything. What you will feel is relaxed and relieved of pain afterward. When I have a tricky spot that's been problematic, it will feel tingly as the needles unblock the acupuncture point. Trust me on this, it's amazing. I highly recommend it!

I suffer…read morefrom chronic back problems, and I had decided to try acupuncture as a way to manage the pain. I also found that it has helped me manage a myriad of other smaller ailments, and I feel so much better after my treatments. I see Christine (Not sure if that's the right spelling- sorry!) and she has been great! She has a calming effect on me, and that's good, because I'm sometimes a little too worked up. I really appreciate the Chinese massage that accompanies the acupuncture. When I leave I feel nice and relaxed and pain free. They do accept some insurances, so take advantage of that if you can. It has made the decision for me so much easier! Their location is also perfect for me - right off 104 in Webster. I usually make my appointments in the evening and can go after work on my way hope. Super convenient. Initially I was wary of acupuncture, but then you experience things in life that make you open up to something different. I'm not happy about pain, but I'm happy that I was able to find a place that has helped me manage it and feel more normal, balanced, and healthy. I highly recommend checking out Stokes Acupuncture!
