Pros- -massage table was comfortable - the place was easy to find. I chose to park on a side street and walk a block because I wasn't sure about parking -people were nice Cons - my room was fairly well lit. Didn't help with feeling relaxed -my masseuse didn't turn music on until about 6-7 mins in. So up till then all I could hear was outside the door and my masseuse's breathing. Ugh! -the music was light jazz which would have been perfect for a cocktail party. There was no spa music which usually gives me that "zen" feeling -what my masseuse did on one side of my back, she did NOT do to the other. She favored my left side for some reason -I kept feeling a pulling on the sheets and I wasn't sure what that was. She kept stopping and doing something to the sheets -her strokes were not smooth and uninterrupted....they were choppy -she did not guide my body into the places they ought to be. Most masseuses gently place your head, leg, arms where they ought to be and promptly cover what is not needed for warmth. -she was texting while giving me the massage. Ugh! THE BIG CON---she LEFT midway through my massage to check if her keys were in her car. Again, I've had massages all over the globe and never have I been left in the room. She didn't even add on time for the time she was gone! I almost walked out Usually with massages, I'm in a completely relaxed state and drift between asleep and awake. With this one, I left fully alert and anxious for it to be done. I felt like I needed to go to the spa afterwards :-(

My Earlier Review: Co-owners, Ali & Cindy opened up this location shortly after the pandemic. The rooms are spacious and always have soothing music in the background to help calm your spirit. I find the staff to be very professional and client oriented. Cindy and Ali are great massage therapists. If I walk in tired and stressed, I always walk out feeling relaxed and refreshed. While other places are booked far in advance, they always had someone ready at short notice. I had a prenatal massage with Helen. I walked in from WGCA next door and scheduled the appointment directly with her, as she was behind the desk. She was nice, but I didn't wish to rebook with her because I felt like during the massage she lectured me quite a bit about things that I knew already about pregnancy (not using oils, what to eat, etc.) This was pretty much a personality mismatch, I think, so didn't leave a mediocre review at the time. What did encourage me to leave feedback was more recent when I was scheduled for another prenatal massage. When I scheduled the appointment, the service was friendly, but it was a little complicated. She had to pencil me in, then call a couple therapists, and then call me back to confirm. No big deal, but kind of weird. When I showed up for my appointment, the therapist wasn't certified to preform prenatal massages. He was very nice about it and we rescheduled with someone he knew was certified. However, when I had to call to reschedule that appointment (next business day) I was met with rude, short service. Rather than reschedule, I just decided to cancel. I hope others have better experiences. Really, 99% of my staff interactions have been nice, but it seems like maybe they just don't have it all together.
