High-quality chairs with option for full recline. Music was calming but slightly repetitive within 1 hour. Very good body massages, but the last two times we are there for body massage, they did not change the sheets on the massage tables. No dirty sheets come out no new sheets go in. On two occasions we both waited there to see what happened in the room when massage was complete. Both times they just remade the bed with the same dirty old sheets. Disgusting, very unsanitary. When you go there ask them if they changed the sheets or demand it. Stay healthy.

I contacted Healing Haven to ask if an exception might be made, and the owner called me back and said she normally didn't make exceptions after expirations, but that this time she would. I'm so glad she did because I got to try Shiatsu with Lisa Kruse. OH MY! I'm a convert! It was WONDERFUL, and Lisa Kruse is extremely talented! It's like a combo of Swedish massage therapy, passive stretches like Thai massage, acupressure and more. At the end, I was completely relaxed yet deeply energized because she was able to move and release my blocked qi (energy). I will be back for sure, and recommend you try it, too!

I was out of town for work and experiencing some tension. Between the work stress and bad weather my body felt very tight. I googled a local massage therapist and called Healing Haven, where the receptionist was very accommodating. At 6pm she managed to squeeze me in for a 7pm appt with no hassle. I got there early to fill out forms and my masseuse was waiting for me with good energy. She took her time to ask me questions and get to know what I wanted out of this experience. I asked for a deep tissue... and I definitely got that plus more. I felt like I was beat up (in a good way). She got in every crevice of my neck, back, shoulders and arms and worked out every kink that was present. We started around 6:50 or so and she went over to 8:15. I was only scheduled for an hour massage but she worked on me until I was complete. (Who doesn't love extra massage time?) Would I go back? Most definitely!!! I only wish that I could take her along with me on every business trip! Kudos to making my experience great Shannon L. Winter and Healing Haven! :-)

I definitely recommend!…read more I was in town for a brief visit with family and really needed a mental and physical reset. I am a recent concert to infrared saunas and did a quick search and found this place close by. Right by Bushnell's Basin in Pittsford. Don't let the sterile exterior of the building deter you. You might be in a random office building, but once you enter the space, it's totally relaxing and inviting. A chill spa environment that's a little bit quirky and fun. Evelyn, the owner and massage therapist is incredibly welcoming. I have had really great luck in multiple cities with independent self-owned providers of personal services with aestheticians, beauticians and the like. Nurturing Hands is no different. The infrared sauna set up is so lovely, down to the last detail: an assortment of books, water, warm towels and a wide selection of robes! There is also an option to sauna with friends, though I'm more of a solo sauna-er. After my 30 minutes in the sauna relaxing and sweating out some toxins, Evelyn gave me a wonderful and relaxing massage. The 75 minutes flew by...next time I'm booking for at least 90 minutes. I am definitely coming back and recommend everyone to check this place out if they are looking for a relaxed, low key environment for a great massage.
