Pros- -massage table was comfortable - the place was easy to find. I chose to park on a side street and walk a block because I wasn't sure about parking -people were nice Cons - my room was fairly well lit. Didn't help with feeling relaxed -my masseuse didn't turn music on until about 6-7 mins in. So up till then all I could hear was outside the door and my masseuse's breathing. Ugh! -the music was light jazz which would have been perfect for a cocktail party. There was no spa music which usually gives me that "zen" feeling -what my masseuse did on one side of my back, she did NOT do to the other. She favored my left side for some reason -I kept feeling a pulling on the sheets and I wasn't sure what that was. She kept stopping and doing something to the sheets -her strokes were not smooth and uninterrupted....they were choppy -she did not guide my body into the places they ought to be. Most masseuses gently place your head, leg, arms where they ought to be and promptly cover what is not needed for warmth. -she was texting while giving me the massage. Ugh! THE BIG CON---she LEFT midway through my massage to check if her keys were in her car. Again, I've had massages all over the globe and never have I been left in the room. She didn't even add on time for the time she was gone! I almost walked out Usually with massages, I'm in a completely relaxed state and drift between asleep and awake. With this one, I left fully alert and anxious for it to be done. I felt like I needed to go to the spa afterwards :-(

I tried the traditional 60-minute massage. I didn't get a chance to try the hot stones, but I noticed they are available. The staff was professional, friendly, and welcoming. After the massage, they offered complimentary drink options that were not limited to bottled water. That was a very nice touch. One thing I thought was unique, and absolutely enjoyed, was being able to choose the music during the massage. They have Alexa available, so you can ask it to play whatever type of music you like. I chose reggae jazz, which created an almost island-style mood for the appointment. In all the years I've treated myself to massages, this was the first time I had experienced that. I had two separate massage therapists, both excellent, professional, and customer-centric. I would highly recommend HHS and look forward to returning weekly for the next few months. Note: Don't be stingy with your tips. These massage therapists put their heart, soul, and physical strength into each session. Inside isn't much to look at- no where really to sit down and there's only a small desk for a checkout- but that really didn't bother me as there was no wait time and I was taken care of both upon arrival and when cashing out. When I showed up for my appt they told me I cant use the gift certificate and turned around and took $5 off the total of my gift certificate and they called it a "processing fee" None of what they said made sense and this is obviously not the first time this situation has occured. I've been going here for about a year now so I feel like I can talk about my experiences. Luv Yu Foot Massage is located in a tiny strip mall with a parking lot. I have always called to make an appointment since they do get pretty booked. The foot massage area which consists of 6 large leather chairs are separated by beaded curtains. The body massage rooms are in the back, double room or single room. The double room has a curtain if you want to be separated from the person you are with. Foot Massage: Soak your feet, massage your shoulders, neck, and back then massage your feet and legs. Body Massage: Undress, massage whole body, this will feel a bit intrusive, your butt will get massage. (I always call and ask for a woman.) The downside is the language barrier and the noise, from customers going in and out , the curtains, phone ringing. My husband and I come here often. We bought the package deal/card which is buy 4 massages, get the 5th free. For a foot massage, it comes down to $25.60/hr a massage instead of $30/hr and the body massage is $42/hr instead of $45/hr. The nice thing about the card is multiple people can use it. We did this when family came to visit. Overall, I recommend Luv Yu Foot Massage for a no frills massage. It is inexpensive and clean.
