The office is located at the corner of Long Pond and English Roads, and shares space with other businesses. There is a small stairwell to climb to get to the office, and they are appointment only. Ashley is a caring practitioner, asking about any medical issues and what areas you'd like to focus on during your massage. I saw her this past weekend for a 90 minute lavender sugar scrub massage, which was as relaxing as it sounds. I actually drifted off during it. She worked out some extreme tension in my neck and shoulders, and though I was slightly sore the next day in those areas, I feel fantastic now! I am truly thankful for Balanced Massage Therapy on this #ThankYouThursday.

I cannot recommend Julia highly enough!…read more From the moment I walked through the door, I felt genuinely welcomed--not just as another appointment on the schedule, but as a valued client. The office is beautiful, peaceful, impeccably clean, and immediately puts you at ease. Parking is easy, making the entire experience stress-free from start to finish. What truly sets Julia apart is her incredible skill and personalized approach. She doesn't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" massage. She takes the time to listen, understand what your body needs, and tailors every session accordingly. As a single mother of two young children, I carry a lot of tension in my shoulders and upper back. Those stubborn knots had been causing me daily discomfort, and Julia knew exactly how to target those problem areas while still giving attention to the rest of my body. I left feeling lighter, more mobile, and with a level of relief I honestly hadn't experienced in quite some time. It's rare to find someone who combines exceptional technical expertise with such genuine kindness and professionalism. You can immediately tell that Julia is passionate about helping people feel their best, and it shows in every aspect of her work. If you're considering booking a massage or stretch session, don't hesitate. Whether you're dealing with chronic tension, recovering from stress, or simply looking to invest in your well-being, Julia is absolutely the person to see. I already know I'll be back--and I couldn't recommend her more enthusiastically.

You can book online (love it), but they ask you to call to make an appointment if you've never been. They got back to me the same day and were able to get me in the next day! I had Aaron as my massage therapist. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He made me comfortable right off the bat. We chatted briefly before my session and went over any issues I was dealing with. Instead of giving me the same old boring massage, he actually listened to me and concentrated on my trouble areas. He had a heated table, which i love even in the summer because i am always cold and he had soothing music playing in ther background. I don't treat myself very often, but I will come back to this establishment. I also like the note the owner has on the Yelp page, you can tell they really care about what they do and truly want to help their clients feel better. Thank you Aaron and Hurts So Good!

If you're looking for a high-end spa experience, this place may not be for you, but if you need a back massage and don't mind a no-frills environment, I think they do a very good job. The individual booths are private. The massage itself is based on Eastern reflexology so it is different than a standard Swedish massage you may find elsewhere, but the technique still left me feeling relaxed and my back pain lessened after a 60 min massage. I'd like to go back soon to try out their foot massage as well. Edited to add that their prices have changed since past reviews. I paid $60 for the 60 minute back massage and there is 8% tax if you pay with card, but that's still a great price for an hour massage in this area.
