While I'm not a LUSH-cult-fan, I have to say that I had an awesome experience here today. The SAs were all smiling when I walked in and I did not have to wait at all to be helped (it might be because it was the middle of the day and hardly anyone was in the store). I know in the past, LUSH can get insanely busy so I HIGHLY recommend that for the best possible experience, you go during the middle of the day or at least during non-peak hours. The store itself is very... perfumey, so if you are allergic or get headaches from strong smells, this is not the place for you (Sorry!). But, everything is well-organized for being such a small space. LUSH really knows how to utilize every little corner and surface. I told them what I was looking for (a sugar lip scrub), and the SA immediately brought me over and showed me what was available. I also like that the SAs didn't try to push other products on me. She suggested a lip balm, but after I clearly said no, she didn't continue to press. Yay for SAs who are actually good to their customers! Moreover, they maintained a cheery and conversational attitude the whole time. Honestly, the whole experience was enjoyable and I have nothing negative to say about LUSH. read more

This Lush store has awesome customer service. They are very friendly and answer any and all questions competently. The store is big and has a lot of selection. All-in-all good job LUSH team - you did well. By the way you should check out their shampoos, regular soaps and deodorant powders. Thumbs up!!! I have probably used just about every shampoo on the market and must say when a family member bought this shampoo bar for me and I tried it out for the first time I was blown away. It becomes foamy almost immediately after rubbing it on the hair twice, smells great and best of all, my hair feels wonderfully clean. Much cleaner than it has ever felt. What's more, the products are all natural, organic and vegan. I rarely give any product an outstanding rating but in this case I think 5 stars are not enough. I had an absolutely incredible experience in this Lush location the other day. My friend and I were wandering around the mall and stepped inside to smell all the yummy things they offer. Right away, we were greeted warmly and were told about some new products they had. What really made the visit special was our time with Kylie. She offered to give my friend and I a foot treatment. I have to say it was absolutely divine. The foot treatment was relaxing and such a nice treat. But what really made it excellent was being able to talk with Kylie for a while. She was so engaging, sweet and knew a lot about all of the products offered. You could tell she loved working for Lush and really cared about its customers. I can't wait to go back to Lush to treat myself to more Lush products and visit with the great gals at the store! read more

I LOVE LUSH. My all time favorite store. I am so obsessed. I live about 30 min from Bellevue but when I get around to it, it's worth the drive! I've tried their lotions, dry shampoo, massage bars, soaps, scrubs, bath bombs, etc. Favorites: ponche shower gel, vanilla dee lite lotion, snow fairy shower gel, snowglobe bar of soap, octagon shaped massage bar. I had an incredible experience at this store today!! I had never been into LUSH before (I know, embarrassing) so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I entered the store feeling hopeful and left with a gigantic smile on my face! Every employee was super duper nice. I've been working in customer service my whole life, and pride myself on my customer service skills - I can tell the difference between being nice for a paycheck and just being genuinely great, fun, sunny, happy people, and these girls were DEFINITELY the ladder!! When I entered the store, Rachel was the one who greeted me, and pretty much the first thing out of her mouth was how much she loved my hair, super sweet! When I told her what I was looking for, she brought me straight to it, told me all about it, including her own personal experience with the product, and she let me smell it and even rubbed some on the back of my hand so I could get a feel for it. Now, I don't know if this is Lush's policy or if Rachel is just GREAT, but she ALWAYS asked me before she touched me or my hair, or put any product on me, whereas other stores of this nature, they just go right in without permission, which makes me extremely uncomfortable. So that was a major plus! (My boyfriend is also very shy, so this makes him feel more comfortable as well.) I came to the store specifically to buy the H'Suan Wen Hua hair treatment because my hair is fried as hell, and Rachel also told me about another product that met my needs, that she even ended up giving me a sample of to take home. But even though Rachel was the one who greeted us and who worked with us, two other employees had gone out of their way to be super nice to us! Lisa, and Emma Ray (I hope thats spelled right!) were just as sweet as Rachel and said just as many nice things about mine and my boyfriends hair, the "look", my tattoos (Lisa even told me to apply to their store!!) and they were just so genuinely sweet it really made me want to go back, even if I've still got plenty of my product left ahahaha. They also let me take a whif of one of their unreleased bath bombs because they said it looked like my hair... I'll definitely be going back to pick one up! Heeheehe Basically they were the nicest group of people ive ever had the pleasure of working with in a cramped beauty store hahha. I love beauty products and the like, but being in stores like this generally stress me out and put my boyfriend on edge, but they were just so genuine and sweet, and I didn't feel pressured AT ALL to buy anything, unlike other stores of this nature! Came here recently because a relative overseas wants products from here. Came and two Caucasian employees are standing at the entrance and did not greet and continue chit chatting. OK whatever. Then couple other Caucasians employee passed by me ( I did not need help) and did not say anything. In the meantime I saw other Caucasians customers entering and being greeted and helped. Weird. I'm with Krissi - there are few reasons to go to Bellevue. One is LUSH. The other is ... erm.... you know, okay, there's just LUSH. But I will happily do it to replenish my supply of Butterball and Waving Not Drowning! I actually begin to panic when I am running low. I remember my first introduction to LUSH.... I was up at Whistler about 8 years ago and had just come down off the mountain while all my girlfriends were still skiing. I was sore and windburned and thinking about a soak in the tub. I clomped through the village in my ski boots on the way home and spotted a store that looked like it might have bubble bath (uncharacteristically, I had forgotten mine at home). It was LUSH. The shop girl found me a Butterball and a mask which they don't make anymore and whose name escapes me. I also picked up a little wine n cheese at the grocery store. But that LUSH bath was either the beginning of a beautiful relationship... or the beginning of my financial troubles. The moral of the story is, once you try LUSH, you and your body will be happy, but you will be a junkie and possibly broke. It isn't that their products are singularly expensive, it is just that everything is wonderful and you will want to try one of each and obtain multiples of the ones you already know! Their shops are great - you can smell, touch, and try out everything. Their packaging is minimal and they encourage recycling and container bring backs. Often they will send you off with bits of soap to try or other samples. When you find one you like, stock up for the love of pete, because sometimes things get phased out (I still heart you and miss you, Ibiza Party Shampoo!!) and you will be heartbroken. But nothing that a little shopping trip to Bellevue can't cure. read more

I'm a big Lush fan from way back. But this particular location is so small and overwhelming I can't even coax my children past the threshold. If you know what you want, suck in your gut and shimmy sideways quickly inside and grab it. There's no room for browsing at this location. Yes, LUSH is spendy but it is worth it. I have very sensitive skin and lots of allergies. You would think with all that fragrance it would be a problem, but it isn't. LUSH is one of the VERY few brands that I almost never have problems with. Their products also last a long time, and work very well. Their skin care line is amazing! People always think I am younger than I am in large part because of my great skin (thanks to LUSH). Their bath bombs and bath melts are delicious, but my staples are shampoo, conditioner, face wash, toner, and face moisturizer. They make items for every skin type too! This location is small but very friendly and more knowledgeable than others. read more

It's smaller than either the Whistler flagship store or the San Francisco store... and there just something wrong with it being in a mall. Lush seems too boutique-y to live in a mall. That said, the staff was nice, when they weren't chatting with each other. Always tons of yummy bath treats abound. They don't come cheap, but neither does good champagne and both are equally good for a special bath. read more

Who doesn't love lush, really? I especially like this Lush store because the sales staff are friendly but not too overbearing (which for some reason, Lushers tend to be). Perhaps it is because, unlike other Lush stores, there seems to be enough ventilation to keep you from going on perfume overload from just walking into the store. I love you Lush! read more

Great products and very nice customer service! (My daughter once went in by herself to buy me a birthday present - she had fun shopping on her own and using her own allowance to pay. The lovely salesgirl was so sweet to her and even threw in a free bath bomb at the end - you can't beat that!) The only down side is that the store is very tiny and can get really crowded, making it hard to browse. The products are pricey, but the quality is high. If you have curly hair I strongly recommend the R&B hair cream - it smells divine and is so nourishing! Wish I could have purchased something but the young salesclerk took up so much of my time that I wasn't able to decide exactly what I wanted to purchase. Unlike some other reviewers I like the smallness and coziness of this Bellevue Square store. I also enjoy the smells and the endless variety of products and endless scents for each product. I wish I would have been greeted in a friendly way and then left alone. I wish Lush corporate would understand that not everyone is in need of constant attention and need to be treated as if they can't make their own decisions. There should be a happy medium somewhere. I've never used Lush products but heard people recommend them. Perhaps on-line shopping is the way to go for me. They're new spot is nice, before they got a new spot you couldn't even walk in the store because it was so small. They also always seem to be out of what I need EVERY TIME I GO IN THERE. I understand to call first but sometimes I'm already at the mall getting other things and then remember to stop at Lush. When I go to a store I like to go in and out. Horrible customer service! I purchased catastrophe cosmetic mask in the blueberry bliss along with other items. When I opened the mask to use it, the containers was almost empty and had finger marks all over, as if it was a tester sample. I brought it back to the store for an exchange and they did not have any more of that kind for exchange. I then said I wanted to return it but was told I could not because I didn't have the receipt with me. I asked to speak to a manager and apparently the person I was speaking to was a manager. I was told that I didn't have any options. Apparently it's acceptable to sell used products and the management doesn't think that's an issue. I wrote to online customer service several days ago and I haven't recieved a reply yet. Horrible customer service! If a store screws up, they should fix the problem! read more

I bought this buttercream soap because I thought it smelled nice, but it definitely wasn't worth the money I paid. The soap barely lathers. I have to wipe it over my body about 3 times just to feel like I'm clean. I don't know how their other products are, but this was the first and only time I'll ever buy their soaps. read more

I may have spent $100-odd dollars there today, but I got shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, and styling cream (all which work wonders on my curly curly hair), but also a free face mask that calmed down my mild rosacea considerably after just one use. My daughter and I were in town on business and happened to drop into the store. We were met by Meghan, who is delightful and friendly. I'm a fan of Lush, but they're kinda all over the place with their scents. My absolute favorite is their rose scent, they have the shampoo bar, but not the same scent in a conditioner. They have the massage bar and the shower lotion, but not a light daily one in the rose scent. They have the rose purfume, but it's in small packaging. Round out the brand make a complete set for every scent. I would be a permanent client if that was done. read more

A horrible place. A scarring place. A place that I would only go back to if I was having a nightmare. I walk in the store and immediately accosted by 6 different employees. Suddenly one is putting some kind of lotion in my hair that I never asked for, meanwhile another is interrogating me about my personal life. Before I know it, my arms are filled with soaps. So. Many. Soaps. I didn't want these soaps. Soon I became anxious to get out, but there was no form of escape in sight: I was completely surrounded. I have never been more terrified. If you think, "oh it's fine, I can go in. I will just brush the employees off," you're WRONG. They will come after you. They will find you. They will hunt you down and make you regret ever wanting a bubble bath. To give you a conclusion to my experience, I dropped everything and ran. If you do decide to bravely go into Lush, I suggest this as the best form of escape. But make sure the girl with long, dark curly hair isn't working. She is fast when it comes to chasing fleeing customers. After you get out of the store, I would suggest heading straight to sephora. The aisles are a good place to hide while countless Lush employees come after you. read more

actually appalled with the service here.... came from out of town and in my town they are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING at lush. however, staff here was snappy and when I was looking and some of the products and taking pictures to send to friends, they were giving me rude looks and talking with other staff members as if they were talking trash. completely disgusted, and when I go back to Seattle, definitely shopping at a different lush. very disappointed. and that's a lot coming from someone who loves lush. read more
