Happy hour oysters and sparkling white wine.
Soph S.

Delicious blue point oysters. The sushi looked great, too! Service was great, didn't feel rushed. I love the funky art on the walls. Great deal on happy hour oysters.

Crispy snapper for 2... Middle filled with veggies

4.75 stars... For starters I parked in a lot nearby for cheaper than street cost. Less than 1 min walk. We came for happy hour than dinner... Happy hour blue point oysters were delicious. Very fresh, clean, and good price. The happy hour prosecco and house red was not ideal for my taste buds. The deviled eggs with caviar was also delicious you get 3 pieces (1.5 eggs). Then we switched to the dining room for dinner. The service is exceptional We had a new guy in training he was so fun and professional. The menu was cute ... More Appetizers... Mussels and clams chowder. I'm picky about my clam chowder and it was tasty and not too thin. Had potato and more clam than most places. The mussels were cooked perfectly with a good wine butter sauce. I had branzino it was the perfect crisp on the cooking. The potatoes and spinach was nicely seasoned. My friend had the crispy Asian snapper for two. A beautiful fish plated wonderfully. With veggies and crispy fried rice that was also very good and this portion was large enough for three people even though they say two. Drinks... The double espresso martini was delicious The shochu purple and plum was nice and strong. Definitely had some left overs. The wait staff was even funny and professional.

Tempura Shrimp (happy hour)

Stopped in for a few appetizers to check this place out. Ordered the happy hour shrimp tempura and a dozen oysters. The shrimp was VERY good! The portion for happy hour was small but it packed a ton of flavor.

If I could, I'd give this place a 10! The service was outstanding, the food absolutely amazing, and the seating area was beautiful. We truly enjoyed every moment we spent here. It may be a fish bar, but their ravioli was superb--highly recommend!

Spicy tuna crispy rice

What can't I say about this place! All the food and drinks were spectacular! The staff was very kind and knowledgeable with drinks and the menu. We started with the crispy rice and spicy tuna, a common dish but Lures' made it so fresh- it just tasted so good. We also ordered the salmon tiradito, lobster roll, lobster Mac n cheese, and fried rice. Everything was delicious, but the fried rice was the sleeper of the night... it was so flavorful and maybe a commonly a slept on dish by other customers. Lastly, the aesthetic of the place was very pleasing and beautifully decorated. Can't recommend enough and can't wait to go back!

Had a great Chicago Restaurant Week lunch here! Unfortunately you only get to choose 2 of the 3 courses on the restaurant week menu (with several options for all courses), but fortunately I was able to split food with someone and try an appetizer, entree and dessert! Started off with a yummy lobster bisque (that isn't offered on their regular menu). The sesame-crusted tuna salad had a nice dressing and was very fresh. The dessert was the highlight--matcha panna cotta was so delicious (also not on their regular menu)! Everything about the place feels high-end and photogenic. Nice and friendly service!

Pretty nice atmosphere very elaborate menu. I'd say a little on the pricey side, but what seafood isn't. My favorite thing was the Bronzino. And the Maki rolls worth all the money.

Pink tinted pinot grigio

Two thing cinched it for me: this amazing wine and the horrible service. I heard one of the bartenders bragging about how their boss called them for a supposed wine festival because they thought it would be busiest than it turned out to be. That may be so, but I had to ask for every glass of wine and even to order while others were served around me. The hostess staff were impeccable though. I will say, the mussels were fabulous and this pink tinted pinot grigio is absolutely going on my wine list. It is a very relaxing environment. You can stop in for a quick glass or two of wine or for a fancy dinner.

Tried the restaurant week lunch and loved it! Great ambience inside. I had the lobster bisque pan-roasted chicken. Both were well-flavored and had great portions, especially the chicken! My friend got the salmon tartare and winter mushroom bucatini, also so delicious! The bucatini was a little hard and oily. Overall, all the food was very well flavored and great service. Will be coming back to try more!

Was here for a quick bite and made it in time for happy hour-- the bluepoint oysters were fresh and succulent-- as fresh as they come, and the salmon avocado roll was also spot on. I had to try the turf option of slider and enjoyed that too. Friendly fast service at the high top next to the bar. It's next to the museum hotel, whose lobby is that. I'll be back for dinner!

Lobster roll. It's a cold lobster roll but that was fine with me. It comes with chips but I asked for fries.

Great service and delicious food. It's always a gamble when you eat in a restaurant in a hotel. Lure is located in 21c and it didn't disappoint. A bit pricey but going during happy hour allows you to try many things for half the cost. Try the caviar deviled eggs. Soooo good!

A beautiful restaurant with good service to be sure, it was strange to see it so quiet on a Friday night. We tried a few sushi options which were okay, but considerably overpriced. The only roll worth ordering is the one with the kimchi sauce on top. Unique and delicious.

Advertises as $100+ pricing so I'm like ok this is gonna be a nice dinner. What you don't see unless you're looking closely - It's in a medium end Marriott - not mad at that but it's not a stand alone restaurant. The menu looked absolutely nothing like they show on the restaurant website. It was cheap looking. Same food options as website. The ambiance was well designed but - hotel restaurant vibes. Ordered the tuna crudo. Nothing to write home about. The mussels - I'm maybe gonna wake up with food poisoning tomorrow. The bucatini pesto pasta looked like regurgitated peas baby food and overcooked pasta. I sent it back kindly. And the chicken thighs were cooked. Like, that's all I can say. So I paid, still hungry. Cause the chicken thighs had basically no meat. Crudo is naturally so small and the mussels equally. Left and am now at Hampton Social eating a delicious lobster roll and tomato bisque. The highlight! The people sitting next to me asked me if o was a good critic! Haha - best compliment ever! But disappointment of a restaurant.

I was so excited that I was the 1st person in this morning. The bartender, Lisa was amazing. Just a quick PSA, before posting a picture of someone, please ask before posting! If you get a chance, please ask for her! Having read a previous review, I knew I had to have the Ruben! As you can see, it's piled high with corned beef! The fries were delicious! Trust me. We stopped in on a Friday midafternoon (May 2026), and found a moderate crowd, good food, and good service. For starters, we had perfect calamari. Crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. It went well with the medium-spicy salsa they provided. This is already a win with any cold beer and any game on their many tvs! We would definitely it get again! We had their shepherd's pie: really flavorful Guinness Irish beef stew under a deliciously creamy layer of parmesan mashed potatoes, nicely crunchy on the outside with a lightly toasted top, and Irish soda bread. Delicious and satisfying! We loved the pastrami reuben sandwich, and we're not even big fans of sauerkraut in a sandwich. But in O'Toole's version, everything came together in a perfect union - the pastrami, the thousand-island dressing, the sauerkraut, and the griddled marble rye. We deliberately left off the Swiss cheese, and maybe that's the trick (for us) to balance the sauerkraut? Well, it worked nicely this way. We were still there towards the end of their weekday 3-6pm happy hour, so we got the $9 Chicago Handshake! A shot of Mälort & an OldStyle chaser! "Mälort-face" free of charge!

That said, this place just completely disappointed. The food was just not good. I had the burger sliders and for $9 a piece you expect them to be something special. They were not. Overcooked with a little sauce and two pickles slapped on the bun with a tiny little dab of fake cheese - it was like a bad and way more expensive version of McDonald's. The onion rings were the frozen crumbly kind not the fresh beer battered kind and so that's a big "no!" for me. The dipping sauce was okay. Service was friendly and I think the guy was new but it wasn't good enough for a place like that at the top of the building. There were two servers so I'm guessing one was training maybe. They didn't make it to my table to check to see if everything was okay while I was eating and it even took them a while to notice that I was done eating. It's was slow so I don't think they were stressing with too many tables. That kind of place should knock your socks off - but it was on the low end of mediocre. I wouldn't go there again for food. Maybe it's a decent place to go to the bar but since I don't drink I can't help much on that end.
