Omgggg, the cutest place! Love the decor, very chic for a girls night or date night. Cute bathroom as well. Very clean and fab ambiance! Ok now let's get into appetizers..... we had the hot honey pizza, queso fries and zydeco eggrolls ! All were amazingly good, my goodness!! Ok now drinks... lawd everything was soo good! The service was prompt and good. I will definitely be back with my man, my man! This is a winner and yes we drove over an hour to come!

Father's Day Was trying to think about a great place to take my father. We ended up here Cannot be more happy that I Chosen this place. Presentation five stars actually, I haven't seen a better presentation than what they had here for drinks and food. Everything came out perfect. like first class presentation perfect! Literally went to a Mexican restaurant the day before spent over $120 and it was not worth it at all......, Spent less here and got way way way more, had to be rolled to the vehicle Lumora is doing something RIGHT.. Found my new place. Thank you Reina

Went here last night for a Galentines the decor and atmosphere was intimate. Low lighting and really cutesy. Our server was amazing and handled our table of 10 with ease. She knew the menu well and helped us make tie breaker decisions when we wanted it all lol . The food was really good the only notes i had was the seafood dip was described as creamy but it came out more soupy. A few of our dishes came with mashed potatoes and the consistency of the mash was more of a potato soup. The flavors of the dishes were definitely on point so we only exchanged the mash for fries. I truly enjoyed my experience so i will be back

Another great restaurant located on the Northshore! When you first walk in you will notice a modern decor. The ambiance is perfect for a date night, drink with the girls, or just dinner. My sister hosted her birthday dinner here which was also a plus. They are great with large parties and the food comes out very fast. Our server was amazing. He was able to recommend some tasty items on the menu anf let us know what othet customers have be raving about. For appetizers we started of with the eggrolls, seafood dip and honey bbq wings. (Thats what i took pictures of) we also ordered buffalo wings. Every appetizer that was ordered were awesome and very flavorful. The wings are a great sizenot those drumlettes size. The seafood dip was hot and creamy with tons of seafood. For entees: we ordered the Cajun pasta, smothered catfish, hot honey pepperoni flatbread, cajun chicken fried chicken, truffle butter skirt, and crawfish and shrimp gouda grits. When I say everything was amazing I mean everything. If I had to say my least favorite it would be the skirt steak. Its small and the truffle butter was different. But besides that the actual steak was good. The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 were based on drinks. The mix drinks were very disappointing. There was no consistency in the drinks. I ended up just ordering a bottle of wine. I do think they should add more white wine to the list. Besides that, this is a great restaurant to try. Will def be back.

The food, service, and ambiance were on point!! Everything we ate was delicious!! My personal faves were the egg rolls, bacon wrapped shrimp, and bread pudding.

    Delicious!

The food was delicious, except the bacon wrapped shrimp under cooked. Unfortunately, the service was incredibly bad and really took away from the experience. We were a table of 7, ordered appetizers, and were brought the check immediately after--before anyone ever asked if we wanted entrees or dessert. It felt extremely rushed and unwelcoming. The servers were rude, inattentive, and made us feel like they just wanted us out of there. To make matters worse, we were overcharged, and my credit card was run before I was even shown the final bill, which is completely unacceptable. Great food, but the service needs serious improvement. Sadly, that alone would keep me from returning. Disappointed coming from southshore for Christmas dinner.. owner of this restaurant, really needs to get with his staff!

Had late lunch with friends. Our first time here. The ambiance was cool and good vibes. Everything we ate was delicious. The red pepper Gouda soup was so so good. The pistachio crusted salmon with strawberry pecan salad was absolutely the best food I have had in a long time. The waitress was very attentive, so service was great

The food is decent but the service could be a lot better in many areas. For those with food…read moreallergies, please triple check before ordering in or eating your food. We arrived on a Friday night without reservations and waited about 30-40 minutes for a table. First, we got a drink by the bar and stood around. Then when seats opened up at the bar, we sat there and ordered two appetizers. Before ordering, I asked one of the bartenders if something was gluten free and she came back with a sheet of paper labeled GLUTEN listing about 25-30 things that were gluten free such as dressings, jambalaya, and egg rolls (which we found out later they are NOT gluten free). I have a picture but I won't share it so that no one is deceived. A few minutes after ordering, we were buzzed that we had moved up the waiting list and to check in. My husband checked in and came to tell me to go to the hostess stand because they are ready to seat us. He went to let the bartender know to send our two appetizers to our table. When I got to the hostess stand, the hostess said that we already had been seated and to just walk upstairs. Even after I explained we had not gotten seated yet because my husband had just checked in, she instructed my party to simply head upstairs and just turn right. We walked upstairs and found a table we assumed we should sit ate. Then when my husband arrived, he went to look for menus because we didn't have any. Ava came by to greet us as our two appetizers of Sauteed Crab Claws and Boudin Egg Rolls arrived. Ava was really friendly and personable. I was so happy the sheet had indicated they are gluten free. I ate half an egg roll and started to suspect it was not gluten free. I flagged down Ava and asked and she said she was pretty sure they were not gluten free. Ava came back to apologize that the egg rolls had been changed and were no longer gluten free, and then are gave me an updated "2026 Gluten-Free Allergy Menu" with a subheader "All items listed are SAFE for you to eat." The egg rolls were no longer listed. For my entree, I ordered the Charbroiled Catfish served over spinach. It came with a salad and apparently a side. I thought my spinach was the side so I didn't ask about my side options and Ava didn't ask me what I wanted as a side. I had a side mixed green salad with no croutons. Surprisingly, everyone's side mixed green salad looked different when they arrived. Mine had croutons. Another had cheese on their mixed greens while another person was served iceberg lettuce. It was very strange. My catfish arrived with French Fries which are not gluten free. I flagged down another waitress who had checked in on us earlier to explain that I wasn't offered a side and that I couldn't eat the French Fries. I asked for cooked veggies and she brought me cauliflower. I thoroughly enjoyed my catfish and cauliflower. Others are the table had the Seafood Lasagna, Seafood Pasta, Charbroiled Oysters, and Crawfish Etouffee. Everyone liked their dishes. The portions are really big. The meal would've been much better if they were better trained on how to handle food allergies. And what the hostess did was not customer friendly at all. We learned from the second server that Ava was in training. Ava did a good job as she was really friendly, attentive, and seemed to genuinely care. I don't think she understood what a gluten allergy was but she followed up when asked to check on the egg rolls.

Everything was delicious, as usual, and the service is always top-notch. Lots of great beer on tap, super-friendly folks waiting to help you with food or a drink, and a super-cool location that really takes advantage of the natural surroundings. Even if you're not hungry, you should come get a beer and walk down to the little river; Louisiana can be magical with the right attitude.

I went to Covington Beer Garden with friends for some holiday day drinking and eating. You know,…read morethe kind of thing civilized people do when they have a day off and no real responsibilities for a few hours. I had been wanting to try this place, and overall I am glad I did. First, the place itself is pretty great. Lots of seating, a cool inside area, a nice outside area, and a setup that makes you want to hang out for a while. This is not one of those places where you walk in, have one drink, and immediately start wondering where else you should go. It feels like a place built for staying. The staff was friendly too, which matters when you are there with a group and everyone is ordering different things, moving around, and generally being a mild inconvenience. Now, about the drinks. The selection was solid. Not bad at all. But with "Beer Garden" in the name, I expected a little more beer. Maybe that is unfair. Maybe I am being too literal. But if you call yourself a beer garden, I am going to expect a beer list that makes me stop and think for a minute. This one did not quite do that. That said, the frozen drinks were fun and would be great in the summer heat. But the food. The food was excellent. I do not know that I expected the food to be the best part, but it may have been. The chicken sandwich special was outstanding, the cheese fries were exactly the kind of bad decision that makes you proud of yourself, and the pulled pork bahn mi was really, really good. I would go back for the food alone, which is not something I expected to say about a beer garden. Overall, Covington Beer Garden is a very good spot. Cool venue, friendly staff, fun drinks, and better food than it probably needs to have. I wish the beer list was a little more expansive, but that is really my only complaint. I will definitely be back.

The Birria Tacos are very good and she liked the chorizo as well, the Al Pastor could use some seasoning. My honest opinion is we will probably not return as it was just not that great! But you may find you like it like others have so try it and give a post.
