This is a review of the free yoga on Sunday mornings (9:30-10:45). I went for my first time and it was AMAZING. The friendly staff moved all of the racks aside and created a yoga studio with beautiful hardwood floors, and just enough heat and light. The skylight was really nice to practice beneath, especially when the rain was lightly hitting it. There was plenty of room and free mats to borrow. The instructor was from Yoga at Change in San Mateo; she was fantastic. They even had complimentary goodies from Whole Foods after the class. I really like this location. The customer service is great and I like that their work force is diverse body-wise/ethnic-wise -- it really does make the store seem less elitist and more inclusive. The store was very neat despite it being busy and the bathrooms were clean. There is also ample parking nearby; it's a few days before Christmas and I still had no problem finding metered parking! Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this lululemon to anyone in the peninsula who doesn't want to drive all the way into SF. read more

My first pair of lulus! What's all the hype?! It's bc these make your butt looks good without exercising and feels comfy too! Although the price is relatively steep for one pair of yoga pants, it's proven to be a good investment since I've been wearing them religiously the last week. They do free altering too if they're too long and that's what I did with the second pair. Service was nice, albeit a little slow but they walked me through every pair (the guy in the dressing room wasn't really knowledgable) but overall great experience. It's hard enough to motivate yourself to exercise and then loose some weight... I finally achieved both by coming here and spend some good "mu la" on comfy workout clothes that are very cute and fashionable too. This is the only place I had a guy help me picked out tank tops with bra shelf in them. It's sort of embarrassing telling a guy your top size. I guess any help should be welcomed and appreciated. Burlingame has by far the best customer service compared to other Lululemon locations. They make sure to inform you of their products as well as give their honest input when deciding which products to purchase. This past weekend Brandon, who was working the dressing room area, was extremely helpful and friendly when giving his input on what I had tried on. He wasn't pushy what so ever and cared enough to ask what activities I might utilize the clothing for to gain insight on how to recommend the best product for me. He might have thought it wasn't a big deal but I really appreciated his honest input and kindness. It made my weekend forsure! read more

I am a yoga teacher and have been wearing this clothing every since the store opened up - it's expensive but worth the money. The clothes are well cut, well made and last a long, long time. They are fantastic for yoga - especially if you go upside down. They also have one of the best sales staff I've ever since. I worked in retail consulting for years; the associates here understand service without ever being intrusive. i am hoping they continue to expand their line of eco-clothing (it's incredibly soft plus good for the earth)! read more

I love the location, clothes, atmosphere and ambiance in this store. I think the service is quite friendly and everyone who works there is really nice and always asks you if you need any help. The only problem that I have is that sometimes, the service is a little bit to in your face . They do not give you any time to shop or browse without asking or commenting on your purchase. Great workout clothes. Their groove pants are cute and comfortable. They come in tall sizes which is a plus for me. Their tank tops are also cute and they have a variety of colors & styles to choose from. The employees are friendly and they exchanged a pair of pants I bought that were defective. Lulu is pretty pricey for workout clothes but worth it if you go to the gym often and want to feel and look good. read more

I love my pants!!!!!! Everyone has been complementing me on them and I love it!!! They are so comfortable and next week I am going to get more workout outfits. You know a place has got their stuff together when my hubby relunctantly walks in with me and immediately picks up not one but two jackets that he apparently cannot live without. I purchased a few jackets on this trip shortly before Christmas and while their stock was low, I still managed to find some great gifts that turned out to be perfect. I have not had to return anything, so I can't speak to that. However, after reading some of the other reviews about not so great customer service during returns, I do note that when I purchased my items, no one mentioned any special rules regarding returns or exchanges...if there are special rules like final sales on sale/clearance items, or anything less than a 90-day return period to return, it should definitely be mentioned by the cashier before the customer pays. I'll just be careful and make my selections carefully before I purchase anything. The location is great, parking can be tough during peak hours, and I wish they had more sizes in the colors I was looking for. Sure it's pricey but at least you can feel and see the quality. The clothes are very reputable and popular. The staff, Leslie, and the girl in the dressing room, both very friendly and knowledgeable. Just what you expect to find on Burlingame Avenue. I wear Nordstrom Zella work out clothes, and lululemon adds unique style to fitness wear. I do believe their roots are in pilates and yoga, their bags speak for themselves, very fun. After calling a store and receiving the wrong pants this morning I was a little disappointed. i've spent way too much money at lululemon... particularly the burlingame location. i think it's b/c of the stock they carry and also the staff are really helpful (and know when to leave you alone too). i've also always had luck with their sale racks. i like the palo alto and the honolulu location too. i work out a ton and i just love their pants, tanks, and jackets. and love their running skirts which i use for tennis. one of my favorite places to shop! read more

I bought my daughter a jacket during Christmas at the SF store. The tag was not attached so they retrieved some random tag. The jacket I bought is black and the tag stated white. My daughter tried to return the item at this store but they refused due to the tag. Whoever was there on Sunday, 1/15/17, was rude and made my daughter feel like she did something wrong. She did not do anything wrong. The store in SF/Westfield gave me the wrong tag! We are asian so I am not sure if this had anything to do with it since I noticed another asian complaining about how they were treated. I called the guest education center and told them what happened. Archie who was on the phone apologized and stated this should not have occurred. I will need to return the item myself and notify them of how horribly my daughter was treated. All the other stores I have visited which are SF and Pleasanton have treated me with exceptional service. read more

I've been shopping at this lulu for quite awhile. I've never had to return anything because it's pretty much expected that lulu products last forever. However, I received one of the gym bags as a gift in August, and unfortunately, the zipper became unattached to the fabric. It made it really difficult to close, so I brought it in hoping for either A) they would repair it or B) I could exchange it for a new one. I am not the kind of customer to abuse the system, my bag was simply broken. The manager and sales girl working the cashier clearly did not want to help me out. I explained the issue and showed them the bag. I was incredibly nice and tried to make it very clear that I would take whatever option they had for me. The manager used the "I have the same bag" excuse... I work in retail, and I know that everyone says that to make you look like your the one who broke your bag. She said they no longer repair zippers, and that it is not considered a manufacturer's defect, which I'm pretty sure it is. Anyway, she finally decided that I could receive a gift card for the current selling price. Fine with me. However, when the sales girl saw how much I would receive she whispered to her manager... "So... I give her that much?" The manager rolled her eyes and said, "Um..ya, I guess..." I got $100something back, and I asked if I could just purchase the gym bag they had in the store.. again making it clear I wasn't trying to work the system.. I just wanted a functioning gym bag. Overall, these two made it really clear by their shitty attitudes they did not want to give me a new bag, even though I thought it was lulu policy to provide outstanding quality merchandise. It wasn't like I was taking money from them personally.... lulu is a HUGE company... but they certainly made it seem like I was. Maybe next time I'll buy a Nike bag instead. read more

i have always loved lululemon but recently a pair of my leggings snagged on a thumb tack in the wall at school and left a huge hole right in my butt. i was unable to continue wearing them so i took them in to get them stitched up. The lady working there told me that the patch would barely be noticeable when on so, i want home and put them on and wore them out that day. i was constantly having people telling me there was something on my butt so i went in to kindly complain and was just given attitude. my leggings were about two months old and now i can't even wear them without comments on the poor stitching job. I still love lululemon but the attitude of the lady helping me was just horrible and for how much i paid i am just very disappointed. read more

There is something seriously wrong with this company. The largest size they make is a 12 and many things are only up to a size 10 (not that the sales girls knew which items, which is another big problem over there). I'm 5'9" and in good shape yet I cannot even zip up their jackets. The sweater I wanted only went up to a 10. The founder of the store has already publicly stated that his clothes aren't for fat people. I'm not fat and have plenty of disposable income but apparently Lululemon would rather not have my money. I will never ever go to this store and I will discourage anyone I know from ever going to this store. I got a gift after the two weeks (damn him for being efficient!) and though it is a large I cannot fit my forearm into it. And I am not huge but as someone who is 5'10" I would have to be anorexic to fit in this thing. Though I find the store horribly overpriced I was not even trying to get a refund, just an exchange. I was told by a friend who used to work there that if you tell them a few times how horrible it is and how much you hate it they will for sure exchange it. Well, maybe in TX, not in Palo Alto. Now I have a useless over priced shirt. I hear ebay is the place to unload these things. I will stick with Title Nine which has the most excellent customer service EVER!
