I'm so so glad I chose to get coffee here this morning. After a kick ass workout at Row House, I went through the drive thru for two iced dark mochas. I always get i Ed mochas at a new place to gauge if they are good or not. This surpassed my expectations! The dark chocolate was not too sweet, perfectly iced, almost tasting like a milkshake! I can't wait to try their other offerings! read more

I am in love with Lula and her whole tribe. The first time I walked in, I spied a smiling barista using the opening between the countertops like a jungle gym, swooping from her arms like a kid on the playground. I knew I was in the right place. And oh, at a certain time of day, the light feels like you are walking in to the secret lounge on a Virgin America flight. Favorite drinks: Golden mylkk for Sunday mornings; lemon shortbread smoothie if the sun ever comes back. Honey soaked chai--didn't even know that was a thing, but it's amazing. I have to laugh -Lula are you mad? You are letting people put their shoes on a Virgil Abloh. I think you are winking at me and telling me to live a little. read more

Idk what it was but honestly the best hot chocolate I've ever had. I don't drink coffee (I know, gasp!) so tend to get cocoa when it's freezing cold and this one did not disappoint! read more

Coffee is good, fun names and unique drinks. The interior is what I would say, "trendy" and "hip" not like the typical West Seattle spots. I liked that you could walk up to the window and wait while cars were behind or in front of you, sort of a strange situation to find yourself. It was much quicker to walk in and order than wait in the "walk/drive" window. Service was prompt and friendly. read more

I've only tried one drink here iced toffee nut macchiato with oat milk it also has caramel this drink was so good I have it everyday now the staff is always so friendly and in a good mood I appreciate this they are consistently making my drink so good not like Starbucks you get attitudes inconsistency in the taste of the drink this place is just a winner for me definitely recommend read more

Little hidden spot of Junction ! Besides the good coffee, place also offers tacos, treats and of course an incredible and most sweetest baristas. And the white chocolate mocha had small toffee bits at the bottom. So delicious The drive thru line was super long and i see why. Too bad people don't review it but it was super super good! Lula Coffee - Blueberry Blackberry Pie Smoothie and White Chocolate Toffee Frappe - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Summary: Amazing coffee - the barista creations are strokes of genius! I circled around the building, given that it was my first time going there and I didn't realize there was a drive-thru option. As I was turning onto the street, another driver yells at me, "pussy!" I was so shocked and annoyed that I almost went somewhere else, but I wasn't going to let some asshole stop me from getting coffee. I circled back and managed to snag street parking right in front. I walked through the drive thru (pretty fun!), and then asked the kind barista about the creations. I tried her creation, the Honey Drip but with oat milk, and mentioned the upsetting story about the asshole driver. She was both sympathetic AND made one of the best coffee creations I've had since the start of this pandemic hell. Definitely coming back! read more

Good coffee - had the latte and mezzo. Also ordered the golden mylk - wish there was a description that said there was sugar in it though. I appreciate that they do delivery. read more

When I walked in, the staff hyped up my outfit, and engaged me in conversation and they were the sweetest and kindest humans! I ordered a lavender oat milk latte and it was PERFECT!! *Also* There are these big windows that bring in so much light and it's fantastic for reading and laptop workin'. #workfromhomefromLula read more

Can I just say that this place is so cute? The interior is mostly pink with some fun aesthetics. The cashier was friendly and was really passionate about the items on the menu. Their matcha pistachio drink was delicious! I am going to have to make a 30 minutes drive now to get this drink. The classic was very good as well. Will be back to try their breakfast items next time. read more

I've come here a few times a month for about a year. The costumer service has been phenomenal every single time. They are fast and kind. Cutest place ever. Yummy drinks and the staff are top notch! They also have a drive thru!

Worst latte I think I've ever had. My partner and I both picked lattes that were recommended by the staff. Took one sip of each and threw them away. The decor is cute but otherwise not worth a trip to West Seattle. read more

First and foremost how cute!!!!! Loved the vibe inside, the interior was so nicely decorated, and aesthetically pleasing! There is parking spots near the cafe so it isn't such a hassle! The customer service was great and the baristas helped me pick out a drink! I got the toffenut macchiato with oat milk and I personally loved it! And my friend got the blue raspberry Italian soda and had no complaints! They do have a variety of cool drinks can't wait to go back and try the match drink! read more

I've been back a few times and the service and the coffee has not improved. It's really a shame because I wanted to like this place.

A drive-thru coffee shop in West Seattle Junction that's not Starbucks!? And one that's extremely instagrammable? Dreams do come true! I'm a coffee and matcha lover--this place exceeds in both categories. Some of the best coffee I've ever had--and I like it black! Also, it's hard enough finding a place with good matcha that's not full of sugar [*cough Starbucks cough*] but this place has good matcha AND fun recipes with it! Tried the "B*tch better have my matcha" and I think even non-matcha lovers would love it too...along with the name! Happy to have found my new regular spot! read more

The Wake and Bake is a barista special and delicious. The cinnamon is delicious warm in the winter and cold in the summer.

Great decoration, really, top notch. Terrible customer service. Why have window service if you hate customers that use the window. Baristas either need more free coffee or an attitude adjustment, I am fine with either. Good riddance. read more

I believe it is mostly a drive through crowd here but I was welcomed walking in. The ladies behind the counter are loving life and just trying to share it with your crushed beans. Solid coffee and at a reasonable price for the area. 5 bucks for a triple espresso and back on my way. read more

If you want to support a business that is operated and managed like a scene from the movie Mean Girls, endorse bullying, and workplace harassment- Lula is the place for you. Not only is it severally lacking morally- from just a beverage based review, it's a waste of money ( the store managers drinks are so messy and chunky with powders, she doesn't fill the cups all the way up and does not lead by example to put effort into the drinks customers consume) and there is a strong possibility you will contract a food born illness as the two managers in the morning re- steam milk. Yes. They RE-steam milk. So if you ordered an oat milk latte, but Karen also did an hour ago and there was some milk left from her drink, you're going to get it and whatever bacteria and germs it grew sitting on the counter for an hour before it was re steamed for another drink- disgusting! They also have a really bad habit of speaking about patrons horribly after they leave the window or counter. You're going to be an idiot of you got a certain milk, you're going to be called creepy if you attempt to strike up conversation. You're going to get sighed at loudly if they're having any issues in their personal life while they take it out on you and your drink then as soon as you order you get to watch them watch tik tok on their phones instead of interacting with you while your drink is completed. If you'd like to feel you're at home interacting with your bratty 14 year old that doesn't want to clean her room and rolls her eyes at everything you say- except it's in a customer service setting when you just want a decent cup of coffee- this is the place for you! This shop is not geared towards adults of any kind and the immaturity is rampant down to decor but more importantly they degrade hard working employees for fun because of their " generational gap". All of the previous reviews concerning how rude the ladies are, hit the nail on the head but it's not just exclusive to customers, they're horrible to their coworkers too. I highly suggest taking your money right around the corner. read more

I enjoy grabbing coffee from Lula, the service is great the baristas are friendly and fast service which is nice whether it's in in-store or via drive through. Sunday morning and I've been wanting to try this place but was not wanting to make the trip from the south end, so I ordered some coffee and breakfast for delivery. The Wake & Bake coffee was so satisfying and dreamy; not too sweet and nice flavor with the hemp mylk. The veggie burrito was really good too, I will be ordering these again. Would love if they had a plant based patty breakfast sandwich read more

I hate to have to remove stars because I love lula, but my last few experiences have been hit or miss. As another reviewer noted, there seems to be issues with consistency. Some days I get an amazing drink, and other days I end up with something awful. It's frustrating as I often drive all the way from Seattle just for lula. It appears that the inconsistency issues are stemming from poor training of new employees. On one of my more recent visits, I observed the barista asking another employee how to make my drink. It looked as though she was making it for the first time. The barista was given very vague instructions and was not overseen by the experienced employee. The drink I received tasted nothing like my previous visit. This was also not a one-off experience because I have had this happen on other visits. I really hope lula works on this because when they make their lattes right, they are really good! read more

Where do I begin... I'm in LOVE with this place! I've worked in west Seattle now for 4ish years and I was a barista for 4 years as well and this place makes me so happy! The area lacked a lot of GOOD coffee. Me and my partner mainly drink black americanos so I can tell when it's a good shot. I do not like my coffee too bitter but I like it strong! The ambience is so unique, and the staff is always so friendly! I'll be here daily :) read more

I've been a barista in 4 cities in the Pacific NW, spanning over a course of 15+ years. Been trained and worked alongside some of the best names in coffee. That doesn't make me an expert by any means... in the coffee biz, there's always room to grow. But I do know flavor and ambience. I'd like to add some constructive criticism because I really want to see this place thrive long term! I'm 100% on board with supporting women owned/operated businesses. It seems like a lot of recent reviews (Google/FB) are from friends, which is awesome. But in order for success to be met, honest feedback is how we grow. So to the owner, please know this is coming from a genuine place. Drinks: Our drinks, an iced and hot Americano, were really watered down/weak. Mine (hot) didn't have any depth to the shots and the seemed to separate in the water. My partner's (iced) was also weak and slightly bitter. Bland. Sad. Ambiance: Just... odd. It felt more like a dorm setting for teenage girls. I like the added fireplace, that's a nice touch! And the upgraded counter (post Red E) is awesome for the space. But we were turned off by artwork of water bottles. Maybe that's what they offer for sale, which could be easily advertised with simple menu signage. But to offer something that is actively destroying the environment as art? Not a fan. I love that an independent artist was used for the mural, but it really feels better suited for teens than all walks of life. A better way to be support women artists would be to have monthly artists who are women. The "cute" sign, random floating dollar bills and teenage vibed catch phrases. I just couldn't really take it seriously at all. This is not the best coffee I've had in Seattle or even West Seattle. You've got a lot of competition in the area, and that competition has been around for a while and has built a reputation based on great tasting coffee. The beans/grind/pour used today lacked depth and flavor. We went home and added our own shots from our home espresso machine to make them drinkable. Staff was really friendly, which is a plus! No one appreciates snotty baristas(as you can tell from my prior reviews of other shops) which was a "thing" for a while in Portland and Seattle. So having friendliness is a great attribute, but if the coffee isn't good and the ambiance isn't meant for anyone who isn't a teen... it will only take you so far. I really hope this review is taken in consideration and understood as coming from a place of wanting to see the shop survive in a competitive market. 3 stars for the friendly vibe/baristas, the upgrades. Minus 2 for the coffee and ambiance. No pastries? And is so, it sure wasn't obvious. PS: for folks writing about the drive thru... it was a drive thru under the former owners as well. read more
