Great Uber Eats delivery. Best chicken parmigiana in Waco. Legit old country sauce, perfectly cooked spaghetti, and tender breaded chicken breast. Good size too! Calamari was okay, a bit soggy, but I think that was due to the travel time. Tasty, warm rolls. Good meal!

Good food. Did not enjoy the Caesar salad at all. Tasted like store bought salad in a package and croutons were terrible. Seafood was perfectly cooked though. The seafood special is what I got. My husband got a pasta dish that was creamy. He enjoyed it. Lots of garlic but not a lot of Italian flavor. I enjoy the places more that we went in Wisconsin - true Italian places that were closed during the winter because they went back to Italy. I think like any business they are cutting corners, but I wish they would just increase prices instead.

    Caesar salad

Honestly very mid the server was very kind and she covered my salad since it was pretty bad so that's a plus but as you can see the salad I got was drenched and it was like it just got washed and thrown on the plate because it was just so wet I also got the pasta sampler which the ravioli was okay and same with the manicotti if your a cheese lover you'll like it but the lasagna was like if Chef Boyardee and stouffer's had a baby is was not great but I will also say the price was not bad I would say if you're just trying to find something a little bit cheaper and kind of a hole in the wall come check this place out, but don't expect anything great other than the servers and avoid the Caesar salad!

Let me start with - I am a bartender and have been in the service industry most my adult life. Service has been subpar. Hostess (who also is the waitress) didn't even say hello or greet me. Walked me to my table and walked off, without a word. Came back 10 mins later to get my drink order, still rude. Food is bland. Alla Panna sauce was only good thing I had, that's why 2 star. Don't waste your money.

A spur of the moment choice for my family on a Saturday for lunch. Friendly service followed by flavorful food at a decent price. Pasta cooked to perfection & great pizzas. Certainly worth considering if your looking for Italian food in Waco.

First time here! So far seems nice and clean! I'll keep u posted

So we decided to try this new restaurant because it's close to home and we love Italian food. When we arrived we were seated right away. People were very kind. Our server was very helpful and kind. But the food was terrible. I did not like the chicken or the sauce in my chicken piccata. I don't think I've ever not like the chicken piccata at a restaurant before. My husband did not care for the sauce in his meal either. Then I tried the chicken Parmesan because I didn't like the first meal that I ordered. The chicken Parmesan was just as bad as the first meal. I'm really sorry to say that the food was just not good here at all. The rolls looked really good but they did not taste very good. The presentation is good and the the server and everybody were so nice. It was a nice and clean restaurant but the food just was not very good.

Authentic Italian food. I've only been there for lunch but I want to go back and try dinner. The owners work there and it's a friendly family business. Fast service and quiet atmosphere

View of the restaurant from the parking lot. La Quinta inn is the building on the right.

Great experience here. They used to be located in Mc Gregor Texas but I heard that they relocated to Waco. Located next to the La Quinta inn. The food is just as good here as the old location. I ordered the chicken parm and it was just as good as I always had. My dad ordered the Luigi special spaghetti w sausage chicken meatballs and shrooms. I liked the salad bread and parm w spaghetti. The atmosphere was similar to the old place but updated and more modern. My father loved his plate as well. All in all a great experience I will be back again hopefully soon. The service was great here as well. The food came quickly. The sign out front indicated they were currently hiring. They are closed on Sundays. I love mom and pop shops. This one has still got the family feel I like. There was only one restaurant that I can compare to this one. Not sure if it is still around but it was a family one like this that I went I as a child in my hometown in the 70's. Just w updated decor. Fairly romantic as well at least for Waco. They offer wine but I don't partake of alcohol. They also serve quite a few seafood plates but we didn't order them. Again a wonderful experience.

Huge portions of relatively tasteless food. The sauce on the tortellini tasted exactly like it came from a can. Very disappointing.

Neapolitan pizza is something like a culinary ancestor to New York pizza, which has more mozzarella cheese and a somewhat sweeter sauce. The Italian salads and entrees are also excellent. The Chef-Owner trained in Italy, and it shows. Service is friendly, competent and responsive. The ambiance is modern, although I think the seating and tabletops are fairly basic. All in all, the pizzas are the stars of the menu, and well worth it as an authentic taste of classic Neapolitan cuisine.

They tasted just like a tortilla chip though soooo... I think 2$ is more appropriate (menu also had GF at 4$ and then we were charged 5$ at the end in which I thought I'd be getting gluten free bread too but alas, the app was really really good - a friends complaint is that it could use more lemon flavor, I can see that too) I was also charged 4$ for my gluten free pasta, but the dish was so so so good. The creamy sauce was absolutely incredible. I had the shrimp scampi along with a blueberry syrup mocktail and I was completely satisfied. Also had a taste of the blueberry martini which was also very good. My friend had the lasagna which she rated at 3 stars and said it was overcooked but the sauce was good. My sister had the lobster ravioli and it was undercooked, too al dente for her liking and was dissatisfied as it was the most expensive thing on the menu. My sister would go back, my friend would not, and i definitely would. Service was very nice. I just looked at my receipt and there is a charge for "rustic bread" so I'm not sure what that is... did they charge us for both the GF crackers AND the bread that should have been included in the appetizer? That's also not cool.

I've had the Chicken Parmesan pasta, the Margherita pizza, and the Pepperoni pizza. Each of them was above average. The Chicken Parmesan came with a nicely breaded and cheese-covered piece of chicken with spaghetti and two pieces of garlic toast. It was good, though it could have used a little more red sauce. Pizzas are available as 20" or 14" pies, and certain ones you can get by the slice. The crust is medium thickness, light, with a soft core and a crispy outside. The Margherita was good but I preferred the Pepperoni. Overall, both pizzas were above average. I especially liked the crispiness of the outside of the crust. They also have salads and wings. Dessert consists of cheesecake or funnel cake fries. I haven't tried any of these yet. There is an inside dining area, a bar area, and an outdoor patio area. The inside is shared with Common Grounds coffee shop and Heritage Creamery ice cream shop, a couple of other local favorites.

We started with the pan-roasted romanesco, which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The bread service with compound butter was a standout on its own: simple, but done at such a high level that it set the tone for the entire meal. We grabbed seats at the bar, which ended up being a great move. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, and we enjoyed several glasses from their excellent wine selection. Our bar tender was knowledgeable, welcoming, and she made the whole experience feel elevated without being pretentious. For entrees, my wife ordered the chicken and fries, crispy, juicy, and incredibly satisfying. I went with Blaine's burger, and I don't say this lightly: it's hands down one of the top three burgers of my life. Perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced, and unforgettable. I appreciate the range of prices, from expensive dinner steaks and fish plates to the more Waco-priced pastas and chicken dishes. But, I've also really enjoyed some dishes, and my friends have loved what they've tried too! It's fun to try the new menus and see what Blaine has cooked up next.
