They tasted just like a tortilla chip though soooo... I think 2$ is more appropriate (menu also had GF at 4$ and then we were charged 5$ at the end in which I thought I'd be getting gluten free bread too but alas, the app was really really good - a friends complaint is that it could use more lemon flavor, I can see that too) I was also charged 4$ for my gluten free pasta, but the dish was so so so good. The creamy sauce was absolutely incredible. I had the shrimp scampi along with a blueberry syrup mocktail and I was completely satisfied. Also had a taste of the blueberry martini which was also very good. My friend had the lasagna which she rated at 3 stars and said it was overcooked but the sauce was good. My sister had the lobster ravioli and it was undercooked, too al dente for her liking and was dissatisfied as it was the most expensive thing on the menu. My sister would go back, my friend would not, and i definitely would. Service was very nice. I just looked at my receipt and there is a charge for "rustic bread" so I'm not sure what that is... did they charge us for both the GF crackers AND the bread that should have been included in the appetizer? That's also not cool.

Our servers were nice and polite, and dealt well with some rude customers while we were there. Very patient. I do have one important comment which is on the "robot waiter" that was working during our visit. The robot rolls around and delivers food, but I have to say that the robot kind of soured the experience. Everybody in our side of the restaurant while we were there was very displeased with the robot. One, I think people didn't like it because it clearly took a real human's job away. And I understand staffing shortfalls and everything, but I don't think anybody appreciated seeing the future of employment play out in real time at our table. The children in the room seemed either curious or outright scared of the robot, which rolls around and plays a music box version of "Surfer Girl" by the Beach Boys. Second, it wasn't particularly good at its job. You have to stand up from the table to get the food, and when it pulls up beside you, you almost don't have enough room to stand and get the tray yourself. And besides that, there was quite a bit of confusion about who's table it was serving, and this led to some peoples food getting delivered to tables almost all the way across the room instead of in the correct location. Robot waiter aside, I highly recommend the restaurant, it's a fun spot and I plan on visiting again when I am in Waco.

This was a pretty average pizza place overall. I went in expecting a little better quality,…read moreespecially based on what I'd heard. My first impression wasn't great because the restaurant could use a more thorough cleaning. There were several open tables when we arrived, but all of them were still dirty and hadn't been cleared off yet, so we had to wait before we could sit down. As for the pizza, it's decent, but nothing particularly memorable. One thing they do get right is the ranch dressing, it was actually really good. That said, they bring out so much of it that it almost feels like they're encouraging you to cover up the flavor of the pizza. We also ordered some appetizers. Unfortunately, the fried mac and cheese bites were disappointing. The filling tasted very similar to boxed Kraft mac and cheese that had simply been breaded and deep-fried. I wouldn't order those again. One highlight is the outdoor patio overlooking the river. It's a great place to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and have a few beers with your pizza. Overall, this place has potential. If they focused more on cleanliness and improved the quality of some of the food, it could be a much better experience.

After reading some mixed reviews, I was a little nervous about trying this place, but since my daughter had been here before, we decided to give it a shot -- and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was very busy that night, and the staff let us know upfront that our pizza could take up to an hour. To our surprise, it arrived in only about 30 minutes, which we really appreciated. The view of the river was absolutely incredible and made the whole experience amazing during the golden hour. While the pizza wasn't the best I've ever had, it was still good and definitely hit the spot. The atmosphere, scenery, and honest communication from the staff made for a really enjoyable evening.

The pizza is extra hot when it comes out and oddly it tastes better as the cheese cools and solidifies. It isn't bad when you get it. It gets BETTER. Ranch is free which is not the norm these days so dip away! Service was fast and efficient even tho they were busy. Whole pizzas so take about 30 minutes but slices are always available to purchase.
