Poor" experience lashes doesn't last a day don't waste your money you have to keep returning to fix it

I come here all the time and its normally okay. They increased prices for limited services and talk about you right in your face . I walked over to the table to pay and an idiot who stopped doing someone's feet , raced over to the counter like I'm a damn thief. He didn't even know how to set up payment . To start I've been coming to Lucy nails since my fiancé brought me in 2022- He came here years before me and swore by them. Today 9/9/24 I brought my mother and fiancé with me to get pedicures and I wasn't happy at all about how my fiancé and I , feet came out. My mother's feet came out beautiful! My fiancé was cut multiple times and the tech servicing him was laughing at the fact his foot was burning due to the cut she did to him- I could see the blood from when she cut him. He ended up not even getting the clear coat polish because of how bad it burned from the alcohol and drilling to put the gel clear coat as well as when his toes were being cut she didn't ask how he wanted them done just cut them in the more ugly shape possible! As far as my toes, last time I came was for my baby shower in July, and my toes were Ok definitely better than how they look now. I always get French tip on my big toes and full polish on the rest- I got an acrylic overlay one my left foot due to my toe nail being the length it was supposed to be for my French tips to look right- my right foot toe nail broke so I tip was placed on it- I go in today and tell the guy when I sit down I needed acrylic on my toes- a tip on my right foot because the last tip broke off with all the acrylic and my nail was still too short. The guy doing my nails had started doing a French tip on my right big toe knowing that shit didn't look right (because my toe nails were 2 different lengths) my left toe had out grown acrylic on it- it wasn't taken off he just filed it all the way down trying to match it to my fucked up right toe! A lady came over & ended up putting top coat and sprinkling the acrylic powder on the top coat, my French tip doesn't look right AT ALL! one nail longer than the other, I always pay and tip- I got charged $130 - now ik I would have paid more but I'm sure they could tell me and my fiancé were not happy with our feet.. I guess I'll be finding somewhere else to go. I planned on spending $150+ in here for a great service even the $130 to me was still much for the quality of my fiancé and I feet I believe better staff need to be hired as well some of these people cannot do nails/feet! And it's sad because people spend the hard working $ here and get a shit service! read more

Yesterday was my second time going to this salon. Chanel does great work, however she charged me $88 for a fill in with gel polish and a basic pedicure with gel polish. Per the prices posted she overcharged me $25. I asked her today if she could break down how she came up with this price. She has given me three different answers. I canceled my two week appointment and instead of her apologizing she said "yes cancel if you can not afford!" That was laughable to me. My advice is get service total BEFORE they do any work on you. She literally stole at least $25 from me plus a generous tip. I didn't know that they had already taken her tip. Lesson learned! My first time here and it was horrible. They are rude, no customer service at all. This lady did my pedicure and she knew she drop my phone and did nothing, when I ask her if she knew that she drop my phone she just laugh with her co worker that was next her and say yes, I was very mad and told her to pick up my phone. This was an awful establishment! I went in to get my acrylic nails removed and the tech just shaved them down and never took them off so I was in her chair taking them off myself and I also went for a pedicure and it was the worst pedicure I have ever had. This place is fabulous. It has an awesome ambiance and convenient hours. The owner never turns anyone away. I watched people enter as late as 30 minutes after closing time and there were serviced. The prices are reasonable. I brought my mom here for services and ended up getting a no chip manicure. My tech helped me pick the perfect color. It was something I would not have chosen but it was beautiful. They prefer tips to be paid in cash. read more

Hands down my go to nail spot in Snellville. I used to visit Pearl Nails, which isn't far from there but once I found out the owner also owned this place I visited. This place stays super busy on weekends so most people book appointments. The reason why this place is awesome to me is because the color selection (especially Gel and SNS) is plenty and 90% of the staff will do a great job on the services. I've had Tina, Linda,Lee, and a few others. However, I have not had a great experience with either of the two gentlemen that work there. They tend to be a bit rude in my opinion. Prices are reasonable. I usually pay $20 for the Aloe Vera pedi and $30 for gel polish with mani. They will try to upsell you, which is common for most nail salons so I don't mind. Oh..if you're tipping for services you have to tell them before you swipe your card. There's no option to do so afterwards. read more

Today was my 2nd time visiting this place. They were busy by my standards for a Wednesday. The nail tech made me feel rushed. I work 2 jobs, and haven't had a pedicure in about 4 months. When I say she might as well had not even used the cuticle trimmer....she was barely touching my toenail bed with it. My pinky toes have so much cuticle skin, it's still there. This woman's hands feel like mush. No applied pressure, no force whatsoever during the so-called leg massage. Very weak hands. Minimal to no customer service. I do not get gel polish on my toes(they have an endless variety of gel colors) all of the regular polishes look like the same color or are dried and almost empty. I just paid $22 for a pedicure my 10 year old daughter could have given me. It was supposedly a coffee scrub. This woman took a teaspoon amount of brown scrub and a handful of lotion. She was rubbing my feet as if her hands are sprained or strained. She looks fatigued. I am literally NEVER coming here again. Waste of money. Waste of time. Quickest pedicure ever. Do yourself a favor and read the recent reviews! First time patron, last time I'll make that mistake! Seated quickly for a pedicure, though the polish color selections were limited. Chair was uncomfortable. Employee was RUDE, no conversation except with her co-workers. Tried to push the $45 pedicure, and was clearly disgusted that I chose the cheapest one (note: their prices are higher than advertised on their website, and this was a trial run of a new place). Worst pedicure I have EVER had! Glad I only wasted $20! In 2 decades of pedicures, I have never had them use a small brush dipped in polish remover to clean up their over-painting. And she used a Dremel tool to "file" my nails, with a used file! The pedicure was poorly done. She messed up the big toe putting on my shoes (with her finger, not the shoe) then half fixed it. I don't know if a beginner did my nails but they are terrible.. they are skinny as hell.. and there is no APEX.. meaning that they will not last for shit.. every nail tech knows that skinny acrylic nails DO NOT LAST.. every time I go to these damn nail salons they don't last for nothing.. My friend and I paid for aloe vera pedicures but it looks like we got a $15 pedicure. I was seated right away but my chair wasn't clean and it had nail dust from the previous customer. The nail technician who worked on my friend brushed her toe when she put flip flops on my friend. When my friend pointed that out the nail technician snapped at her. Overall both of our pedicures look sloppy and it wasn't a friendly experience. This will be my first and last time at this salon. read more

I have been a customer of Lucy Nails for 5 years, and aways paid the same price and even after moving and hour away, I was still willing to travel to get my nails done because I believe in being a loyal customer. May 17, after months of state lockdown, I decided to continue being a loyal customer and made the hour drive to Lucy nails to have my nails done. In the middle of having my nails done by the nail tech named Tete The manager of the nail salon approached me and informed me instead of paying $45 I have been paying for five years, to have my nails done I would be paying $65. No I do understand price change but a $20 markup is ridiculous. I then left the salon without having my nails completed. My friend speak there language and stated they laugh at everyone and talk about they know we are dumb for spending money like Americans do. Lucy Nails is about the money forget about the clients and customer service I had a bad experience there. Check and make sure they are up to code with insurance. I always get my nails done here almost 20 years my new tech after Tina & several others have left over the years is Danny the new owner. For the first time ever & I have dealt with him several times he charged me $70 for a new set of average length curve nails gel polish no designs because he can't do designs. He didn't have to remove my old set I had already taken them off. I am really disappointed and not happy with Danny. Prices change according to how much money he needs to make. Si he did the usually things he was meant to do but then he rubbed this kind of cream on me then my legs started to burn so bad. Then I started to itch my legs so bad then he left so he came back with these hot towels and then when he put it on it started to burn SOOO badly! He left it on my legs for a little bit then he beat the crap out of my leg both of them but I do not recommend this place my legs are really hurt like in the picture and I can barely read more

I visited this salon for the first time on a Friday evening after work. I just wanted a simple polish change for my feet. Even though the place was jammed packed with patrons, I waited less than 5 minutes before I was seated. I told the nail tech that I was only getting a polish change, but that I also wanted a custom design as well. That must have set her off, as she stormed to the back yelling something... no idea what she said. She came back and rushed quite quickly through removing my existing polish and absent-mindedly filing and buffing my toenails. She was extremely engrossed in the conversation taking place next to us. She painted my nails, then another woman had to come do the design. I was liking it at first, then she added tiny dots that I didn't care for, but I didn't have time for her to start over. If you wear flip flops, most nail salons will slip them back on your feet for you. She looked at my flip flops, said something I couldn't understand, then retrieved the disposable ones they have in stock. I might return again just because I got a pretty nice nail design just for $9. The only aspect I didn't like was being hastily rushed. I think I was in and out in 30 minutes. read more

They say $18 for a regular pedicure and charged me 5 extra dollars for clear polish. K-spa nails in front of publix will charge free for any polish for a $18 pedicure. This was my first time coming here after I was referred by a friend. A nice lady greeted me upon arriving and asked me to select the kind of pedicure I wanted. Once I selected it, she brought me to a chair and tub and another lady came and did my pedicure. This technician had an attitude and did not do a good job. It's super nice and they are very friendly and do a great job. I love their chairs and their prices. I would go back again and again.
