Before I started, I specifically asked how much everything would cost and was told $65. I got my nails short, and then after the service I was randomly told the price was being changed to $70. When I asked why, I was basically told, "I just am." That was already frustrating because I asked about the price BEFORE getting my nails done specifically so there wouldn't be any surprises. The actual nails were also not what I wanted. I asked about getting a deeper French tip, and I was told it could only be done with gel and that it would cost an additional $15. What made that even more confusing is that I have been to this same salon multiple times before and have gotten a deeper French tip with regular polish. When I mentioned that, I was told, "I know for sure we don't do that here." So I'm sitting there confused because I know what I've gotten done there before. The nails were finished in around 40 minutes, and honestly, they looked like they were done quickly. I left with a nail already chipped, and when I asked about fixing it, I was told that would be another $5. I'm already unhappy with the way my nails look, and now I'm being asked to pay extra to fix something that happened during the service. Then there were even more unexpected charges. I was charged $5 for cutting my cuticles, and they tried to charge another $5 for removing dead skin. I decided I didn't want the extra service, and I also didn't want to pay the additional $15 for gel. After I said no, the attitude I received completely changed. The way they spoke to me became rude and disrespectful, which was completely unnecessary. They also didn't ask me what type of pedicure I wanted. I wasn't given the experience of actually choosing what I wanted done--I felt like things were just being decided for me, while additional charges kept coming up. At the end of the day, I paid money for a service that I do not like, left with a chipped nail, was given a different price than the one I was originally quoted, and felt disrespected simply because I didn't want to pay for extra services. I'm not leaving this review just because I didn't get exactly what I pictured.
