Owner is harsh with her employees in front of customers (very uncomfortable) 2. Nail technicians are rough, both my toes and fingers were cut 3. Due to an appointment coming in the nail technician did a rushed job (Owner pushes her to do my nails) 4. Technician had to paint the nail color over and over and over since they use cheap gel polish. (Very annoying) 5. Asked for the gel tips to be thin and got very thick acrylics 6. Gel is lumpy and uneven 7. 4 days after the gel acrylics tips, gel began to chip away. (I don't even wash dishes!) 8. 6 days after a tip broke off while I opened the car door! (RIDICULOUS) 9. I called last minute for a pedicure because it's near my home and the owner was nice and told me they would take me no problem. I got a 30$ gel pedicure, my lady cut me twice where I almost bled and left in pain. She barely took off any dead skin and when I asked she told me 8$ more. My pedicure didn't include any lotion on my legs or barely wet them at all. I could have left my entire legging down and not gotten it wet. She painted on the gel on my toes and it got on random parts on my feet as well, the gel wouldn't dry and she kept blaming the "machine". She put on two layers of RED gel and then had to remove it with a machine twice on both of my big toes, you can only imagine how messy this looked. The entire time she kept hurting my toes and fixing with her own long nail (not hygienic) I was so frustrated and the owner heard and saw and did absolutely nothing just made snobby comments from afar about being tired of people complaining..... Keep in mind I NEVER write reviews and I never once even asked for a discount. I simply tipped 7$ as I would anyone and paid for this awful experience. Save yourself the trouble read more

Getting my feet done by Amy who is not so nice! I asked about the callus remover and she told me it's $8. Like I couldn't afford to pay it. This is my 1st time here. She asked if I wanted the spa pedicure when I said not at this time I immediately sensed an attitude. Maybe that's why she felt I couldn't afford an e yes $8. She also cut my toe nails too short when I asked her not to. The lady next to me received a nice massage and had her feet scrubbed. I did not have the same experience. If I could I would give this place ZERO stars. The receptionist was sooooo rude that I wouldn't step foot into this place for the simple fact that they do not care about customer service. The color gel was good and lasted 2 weeks. But the rudeness and disrespect that came out of this woman's mouth made me feel like she was doing me a favor but scheduling me. I requested a 4:00 appointment and without even listening to me told me to come in for 12. After I explained I'm working and can be there by 415, she proceeds to tell me to come at 5:30 to be taken by 6. Completely disregarded my request. If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. My mother-in-law went all the way to this salon to get her nails done today and was met with discrimination because of her skin color. They refused to acknowledge her, or touch her hands, and put clients ahead of her when she had already been waiting 15 minutes. She and my father-in-law (who is white and was asked if he was getting his nails done after my mother-in-law was already waiting!) ended up walking out and went to another salon (Futuristic Nails) and was treated wonderfully and respectfully. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior, and I am enraged that she was treated in such a disgusting manner. So I decided that I MUST know how good their nail services were after the issue last time. Well, now I know why I waited over an hour last time. They're amazing!!! I got the best pedicure of my life from Amy at Lucy Lu's. No kidding, I will never go anywhere else. She was attentive, precise and made me feel like I was a queen! (She was even amazing when she pretended not to notice how many times I cringed and jumped because I have the most ticklish feet of anyone I know). There's still the issue of not really setting things up well time wise here. I came in for a manicure, pedicure and a wash and blow out. Unfortunately I never got the blow out done because there was just not enough time but if they had washed and blew out my hair before the pedicure started it would have worked more efficiently. This is my second time here, and both times were great! My old nail salon didn't accept credit cards which can be annoying. I got great gel mani's and pedi's at Lucy Lu's. They give amazing shoulder massages after your manicure and offer tiny bottled waters to their clientele. The owners seem nice and the atmosphere is relaxing and clean. Was there this week- had Lisa for my second time. Wasn't happy that she decided to chat on her phone instead of letting me get my manicure. Also knowing from another time she passed me off afterwards for my pedicure. I went to there grand opening and also told my daughter to go there, everything was fine until the 2nd time I went, I had an appt. & still waited over an hr, so appointments apparently don't mean anything. I let it go an returned a 3rd time, I got the nail dip again this time from a different girl (Lisa) & she filed my nails down so much they were burning, she was doing them like tips, I have short nails and never get tips. I also got a French pedicure from a different nail tech & she painted toe crooked. I didn't say anything causes I just wanted to get out of there My daughter also gave them another try for a manicure pedicure, she had gel polish from her prior appt. there & yet they wanted to charge her to take it off because she was getting regular polish and not the gel again. I find their customer services to be poor I don't care how many times they stamped my card, I would never return. I had gotten the dip serval times before and I never had this problem & the nail text was so nasty and the owner allows this, she tried to make an excuse stating that the way they talk. Meanwhile the nail tech was yelling at me and talking in another language to her coworker complaining about me, right in front of me. I might not understand Chinese but I know body language. I never been more stressed out. I don't have a lot of free time and when I get my nails done its usually a time of distress & relaxation for me I would never recommend this place to anybody as I received very unsatisfactory work and service. Mostly new staff since reopening after covid closure. It's not the same anymore. Salon is dirty! At 11:00 plexiglass has fingerprints and smudges and lip print on it (gross), pedicure chairs are dirty by arm rests, and garbage overflowing. The technicians rush even if they are not busy and talk about clients in their language while they are working on your nails. The new front receptionist who might be more pleasant than the former receptionist, is useless if there is a issue with a service or app. Most nail polish are clumpy. After being a customer since it's opening years ago, I'm done with them. Shame they use to be good! read more

I went here a couple of days ago for a regular manicure, and two days later most of my nails are already chipping. I go to a different nail place normally but I decided to try this place out since it was a lot closer to me. Usually nail polish won't chip on my nails for at least five days. As soon as I got them done, I could see little bubbles in the polish, and now they they have dried I can see them even more. I like this place. I've been here a couple of times and was very happy. I usually get a regular manicure but this time I wanted a gel manicure to get me through the holidays . Besides having 3 of my fingers bleed, my nail polish continue to peel off. The next morning one gel polish came off, then another one. I went back and they fixed it no problem. I chose the Lavender pedicure ( more on the higher end price wise) which comes with a foot exfoliation scrub , callus remover and a 10 minute massage (total heaven ) with a paraffin wax in the end absolutely worth the money ! I tried this place a couple of months ago for a blowout after passing by and seeing the sign. I was really pleased and went back several times since. David gives the most amazing blowouts and works really fast! I've been to a lot of other high end salons and have not been this happy. I had an appointment at 6:30pm and I arrived a little before that to be on time, i was told to sit and wait as they were behind. My nails were not started until after 7pm meanwhile they close at 8pm. i had an appointment for a full set of acrylic with gel polish. when i finally sat down to start my nails it was being done by a guy and he had to take off and re do many nails multiple times because of it be lopsided and not straight. After that being done many times he started to rush as it was already 8pm and their closing time and everyone was leaving. He cut me multiple times, could not put the acrylic on and had to re do it multiple times along with all my nails still being un even after me asking him to fix it many times. I used to come here months ago and loved the girls who were working but they left and now i tried them again with the new people and it is just horrible. I paid a lot of money to have horrible nails that are not straight and really look bad. one nail has no acrylic where as the other nail is overloaded with acrylic. the worst part is he did not finish with my nails until after 9pm where EVERYONE in the whole place - all workers & customers were long gone except for me and the male worker and it was the most uncomfortable experience i had in my life. The cons: I went there two times. 1st time: the woman who did my nails was very inexperienced. She didn't know how to cut cuticles correctly and filed my nails crooked. She painted them nicely though. 2nd visit: girl was very friendly but again, did not know how to do nails. She removed very little cuticles and the paint job was horrific! You could see how the first layer barely met the end of my nail and the second layer did which created ridges. Looked like I did my own nails. I can't go back.
