I also love the little Pittsburgh connection and seeing the Terrible Towel welcome mat. It always makes me smile. You can order beers on tap and pick up cases to take home, which makes it easy to stock up on some favorites. The outdoor space has really been enhanced over the last few years and is a delightful place to bring friends and family. Someday I'll plan well enough ahead to finally take the brewery tour, but until then, I'm happy enjoying the beer and the atmosphere.

All come in cans except Heady Topper, which you can grab on draft from a refrigerated beer engine. I have to say, having it on draft is a magical experience. Their aluminum cups are quite cute and you can take them home. Food is from a truck. Jamaican food that can be quite overwhelming with salt and spice if you're not careful. The potatoes were especially good. They hold events on their website including Boogie Bingo which we attended on Thursday night. Great host with a very dry sense of humor. Their NE IPAs are great but their farmhouse stuff is also tops. Not every brewery can pull that off. Clean and sterile warehouse vibe inside with a few tables outside as well. Big lot behind the building that is sometimes surprisingly full. Ten Bends Beer is a craft brewery in Hyde Park, Vermont that produces small-batch ales and lagers. The brewery's name comes from a neighborhood in Hyde Park and the Lamoille River, which bends ten times between Morrisville and Johnson, Vermont. Ten Bends Beer's beers are inspired by the region and are made with creative experimentation and perseverance. I enjoyed a flight while here: Refractives White Grape: A Kettle Sour Beer with nice notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Tartness isn't too high, which allows some of the aromatic and subtlety of the grape to come through. Cream Puff War Peach: A Double IPA that is brewed with honey malt and lactose, fermented with Peach Puree, and then Double Dry Hopped. The lactose gives it a fuller mouthfeel and pulls out the orange julius, dare I say, peach julius, vibes of the beer. Not too sweet, but definitely on the sweeter side. Green Fountains: A Hazy IPA hopped with Cascade, Mosaic, and Strata. I get strong notes of citrus and pine, finishing with dank overripe pineapple. Dark Daze: An Imperial Stout aged in Whiskey Barrels. We made our selections then proceeded to the bar area to pickup our flights. I liked this as opposed to having to squint to see a menu too far away or wait for someone to finish crafting their flight before I can see a laminated menu. The bartender was accommodating- he allowed us to replace beers that were no longer on tap with a non-beer item (hard seltzer). Nothing stood out as far as the drinks go, but the staff was friendly. The tour was informative and I thoroughly enjoyed the live music/throwbacks.
