Great place to stop for a beer, or two! Seating inside and outside. Employees are friendly and helpful with info on beers. I enjoyed a mead-Humble Braggot-very good! Jane really like the Lushsicle and Shush. Was nice to drink their beer directly at the source. Glad we made Frost a part of our brewery tour. read more

This beer was amazing! I got a couple to go so I can't say much about the brewery itself - but man they make some good beer! My favorite was the brown ale, which I was hesitant to try. I figured eh - Vermont + maple syrup, sounds about right..And it was!! Delicious. Would totally go back if i'm ever in the area again. read more

This review is only a review of the food truck out front. I think it is called The Shoppe food truck. Absolutely the worst fries I've ever had. Literally like fries that were at the bottom of the fryer. Can't even believe they sold them to me. Impossible burger was nothing special. Just awful food for a Vermont food truck. Frost needs to fire them. read more

First off, I am a huge fan of their beers. This 3 star review is due to the fact that the place is super tiny and not quite a destination versus the other breweries in the area. You can pay for samples, or it comes free if you make a purchase of either a growler or cans/bottles. Reasonably priced and most of the beers are hop forward. Friendly enough service. Their offerings sold on premise can be found all over VT, so don't feel like you must go to get a certain beer. Chances are, it can be found in a store in and around Burlington/Winooski. read more

Frost is a fantastic spot, even for the family. Don't be intimidated by the small beer pouring area. There's a huge open room in the back with long tables, games and a bathroom. Guests brought lunches and snacks, drinking the Frost beer and playing games. BYOF seemed to be encouraged. What a good way to support your local brewery and save money. Very chill space, lots of merch, cans to go and around 8 beers on draft. Hit it up. read more

Frost Beer Works is the place for you if you love IPAs. If you don't love IPAs, this may not be your cup of tea; I'm not an IPA lover, but theirs were better than average. This is a small space with plenty of parking. There were four IPAs on tap and I did a flight. Flights are very inexpensive and are free if you buy something else. There is a room back behind the bar with a restroom and some picnic tables. It was pretty quiet when we stopped, so no worries about having a place to sit and enjoy your beer. Service was incredibly kind and there was a golden retriever there to greet us - how can you not love that? read more

I love the beer at Frost! Definitely some of my most favorite brews in the green mountain state! Ordering was easy, loved the food truck and the ample seating! Can't wait for this to get a lived-in feel! It still feels so shiny and new, but there's nothing wrong with that! read more

Most underrated brewery in the area. Beer is five stars, as a destination/hang out its out of the way and a bit small (Id go 4 1/2 if possible - Yelp are you listening?). Help was super friendly tho and cool merchandise. read more

If you are into IPA, there are some great options. Friendly chill no frills tasting room with limited hours. There is sometimes a food truck in the parking lot. Frost is good to drink and fun to check out the brewery. read more

Great spot, worth the drive! When we visited, they were offering beer and Ben and Jerry's combos. Who could say no to that? My favorite is the black IPA, which I'm happy I can buy in the upper valley. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. read more

They have great IPAs. Super small brewery and tasting room. There were 8 people trying to taste beers on the day we went and even that was crowded. Would love to go back here when they open up a bigger facility. Which I don't think would be hard to do because they make great beers. Definitely worth a stop. And you can find their beers at craft beer cellar in Waterbury. Get the Lush! read more

Great beers and super friendly staff. I like the big brewers in the area but there's nothing that compares to meeting the head brewer and hearing him talk about why he does what he does. Great experience and we are really excited to go back with some friends. read more

Stopped in today for some samples, took a growler and a few bottles home. Staff was very chill and the beer was great. Only thing that might have made the experience better was a couple stools at the bar. I will definitely be back! read more

Wonderful addition to the VT beer scene. We have tried several of the beers and enjoyed them all. The Lush double IPA is fantastic. Today we dropped in and Patrick took great care of us, as all of their employees do. We sampled a new rye pale ale that my wife loved. While there, another couple came in and they raved about the Plush so we bought that for later....will keep you posted. Highly recommend a visit. Also, Lantmans grocery store in Hinesburg usually has a decent selection of their beer if the tasting room is closed. read more

Frost Beer Works is a small microbrewery in Hinesburg, Vermont. Beer is our passion. We are committed to using high quality raw materials and effective brewery processes to produce flavorful, well-balanced beers. The beers we make are the beers we like to drink. Many consider hoppy to be synonymous with bitter, when in truth, hops can contribute much more to beer than just bitterness. Our intention is to craft balanced beers with low, restrained bitterness that showcase the aromas and soft flavors hops can produce. River Roost is just a brewing facility with a tasting room, so there is no food provided or for sale. And you can bring it here to munch out while savoring the many beers on draft. And since it's not a restaurants, Fido is welcome. The owner was the attendant on that day and he was quite affable and also knew his beers like the back of his hand. I tried a "Mas Verde" IPA and it was absolutely delicious. Overall a superb time with wonderful people and great beer and superb food from across the street.... The only warning about the area is the parking situation. As the area (which used to be a blighted warehouse and industrial area) has become gentrified and dotted with apartments, the nearby Northern Stage Theatre, and numerous restaurants, parking has become an issue and customers should either arrive early or realize they may have to park several blocks away. But that only shows just how popular this area has become and part of it is River Roost's doing. Great place!!!!!
