Gluten free granola, dried goji berries were amazing, blueberries and bananas with chia seeds. Everything was so fresh. I deducted a star because my papaya bowl had two spoons full of fruit. I felt that they could have picked better papayas for this item if the main focus is on the papaya. I have seen other places with bigger and meatier papayas for their bowls, but it had yogurt in it and I didn't want that so I tried this place instead for the around the same price, $15 almost after tax. Lots of seating outside. Customer service was okay. All the employees seem so busy they didn't have time to smile.

We ordered the Lucky Macadamia Latte and the Caramel Macchiato, and both were absolutely delicious. Rich, smooth, and full of flavor -- exactly what we were hoping for to start our day right. What made the experience even better is that this location is more than just a coffee spot -- it's part of a larger food court area with plenty of tables and a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. The air conditioning works just perfectly here (not too cold, not stuffy), which is such a relief on a warm Hawaiian day. There's a great variety of food options too -- from fresh sushi to burritos, tacos, and even burgers that looked super tasty. It's convenient, clean, and the service was friendly and quick. If you're in the area and looking for a place to grab a great cup of coffee and maybe even enjoy a full meal, I definitely recommend checking out this spot. We'll be coming back for sure!

The lady at the register kindly answered my questions about the menu. The drinks are unique. What I love is that they have more than one option for milk. Macadamia nut and coconut for example. I have never done that in my life! lol Only thing is I wish they would open earlier so I can get my coffee fix before noon!

But they filled almost half the cup with ice, which made it feel like you're getting way less actual juice for what you pay. Since it was early and there wasn't anyone there, we decided to check it out and get smoothies. Not sure how large the other Hononlulu Pineapple locations are, but this outpost is pretty tiny. They were just opening up around 9 am when we arrived. They have a ton of smoothie flavors on deck and you can make it fancy by having your smoothie served in a pineapple. They sell fresh pineapples and other fruits, and you can also purchase take home pineapple slices that are perfect for your plane ride back home. Since we were about to start a hike right afterward, we decided to skip the fancy stuff. I ordered a piña colada smoothie while my friend stuck to their famous pineapple smoothie. It took quite a while for our smoothies to be made, but what's nice is that this place uses fresh fruit and prepares it as such. I mean, it's Hawaii so you should only expect the best when it comes to fresh fruit. If you're in a time crunch, you might wanna come back when you have some time to wait. But let me just say; these smoothies were worth the wait. Booomb friggin' tastic! My Piña colada smoothie tasted magical. I could literally taste the freshness of it all. I sucked that thing down so damn fast that I started contemplating if I wanted another one (and yes, I'm still talking about the smoothies, ya nasties!). For how much it costs, I felt like a larger size would have been suitable. But, I understand why the prices are higher since their products are fresh and authentic. The staff was super sweet and apologized to us for the wait. But yeeep, the smoothies are pretty bomb here. Not sure how busy it gets in the afternoon, but having a smoothie as our morning fuel was a great idea. Make sure to stop here for a smoothie if you're hiking Manoa Falls or exploring the nearby Lyon Arboretum.

Naturally, I asked where I could get one, and told me it was only a couple blocks away. I immediately made my way over to Aloha Sugarcane Juice, a stand selling various refreshing drinks. COCONUT - 13 The vendor took a coconut, sliced the top open, and handed it over to me. Let me tell you, this was nothing like that Vita Coco stuff that tastes a bit too preserved. The coconut water was fresh, clean, and slightly thick, with a subtle sweetness to it. While it was pricy, it was absolutely worth it. If I had a knife, I would've chopped it in half to enjoy the coconut meat inside. From the little bit I could scoop out, it was soft and tender. Great random find on our first full day in Hawaii. My friends can tell you I was happily walking around the strip carrying a big-ass coconut with the largest smile on my face.
