This place is definitely a "come for the food, not the experience" type of spot…read more First things first, it's in the hood and the vibe matches that. If you're shy or timid, this may not be the easiest place to order. If you try to order at the counter when they're even slightly busy (which is basically always), you'll need to speak up or you might get overlooked for a bit. I recommend using the little ordering kiosk to the left instead. It's much easier. The staff can come off short or a little rude, but I've also seen customers be pretty pushy, so it seems like they're mostly just focused on getting orders out without all the pleasantries and keeping things moving. I ordered the half chicken with rice and beans and mixed vegetables. The food is undeniable. The chicken is juicy with that perfect charcoal flavor, and the yellow sauce is ridiculously good. That said, the place itself could use some attention. The dining area was pretty dirty with crumbs and trash on the floor, and the tables didn't seem to get wiped down between customers (or ever?). It may just be because they're constantly busy, but it's noticeable. Also be prepared to wait. There are a lot of to-go and DoorDash orders, so even if it looks like only one person is ahead of you, there might actually be a dozen orders in the queue. I ended up waiting about 25 minutes before I asked about my order, and it seemed like it may have been forgotten or given to someone else. After that, it took another 10 minutes before I finally got my bag. Long story short: come here when you have time and aren't feeling sensitive. The food is excellent, but nothing else about the experience is particularly impressive. And honestly... I'm still going back . The chicken and that yellow sauce are just that good. Next time I'll probably try to order ahead though. Just know you can't order directly from their website, so you'll either need to call ahead or pay the higher prices on the delivery apps.

I also do have CM chicken around my neighborhood too but honestly, this location is the best chicken in the world! I ordered Onion Chicken Tender and Garlic Spicy Chicken. The tenders are soooo tender! I mean, they are called tenders so ofcourse they are "tender" but this was cooked and seasoned right to the point, crispy outside and so juicy inside. The Galic Spicy chicken is little on the Spicy side but that is right down my alley. It satisfied my last day of travel so much!! The mom owner was sooo nice and caring, welcoming and making sure everything was good. It was the perfect experience to have far away from home. I will definitely visit again when I go back! Too bad this location is far from my home or I can have it every day! Thankyou mom for the best food!!

I split it up between six wings of spicy soy and six in traditional Korean barbecue. All of the wings were huge. I could've probably gotten by with only eating six but I was super hungry. Now I'm stuffed. I consider myself pretty good at judging wings and these wings are right up there near the top. Big, meaty, cooked well. Great Korean barbecue sauce flavoring with just the right amount of crunch and the soy spicy wings were cooked very well. I definitely will go back to this place again.

The highlights for…read moreme were the wings (got half Korean sweet & spicy and half spicy soy garlic) and the Amber boba. The wings were not the best Korean fried wings I've had, but they were solid 8/10 wings. The Amber boba (regular sugar/light ice) was very good and surprised me. The chicken katsu curry was a little disappointing. Granted, my food was to-go (had to get to-go because I ordered at 9 and they close at 9:30) and I feel like the curry is a dine-in type of meal. But I feel like there was something missing in the dish, it was kind of mid. Having realized afterwards that this is a chain restaurant, I understood - but the big curry chain in Japan, Coco ichibanya is definitely beating this curry. Some pickled relish or additional seasoning would help this one.

I will say that their medium is way to Spivey for me, but I knew going forward to get the mild which is also spicy. On this particular visit I was fantastically disappointed. So, I ordered a two piece and a drink. I asked what pieces of the chicken come with a two piece the young man behind the counter stated a leg and thigh. He even went to the wall that lists what pieces you can expect to receive to confirm. I said that was fine as I don't care for chicken breast at all, never have and I never will. I paid and then he said that it would be 20-25 minutes. No problem as I am happy to wait for fresh fried chicken. No please keep in mind that they were not busy at all. They had zero customers when I walked in, two first responders came in after me and there was no else who came in afterwards. Please help me understand why this young man brought me a tray with a wing and a breast.. I took the greasy tray back up to him and politely asked what was on my tray. He told me. I then asked him what he told me came with the 2 piece. He repeated a leg and a thigh. Then why would he bring me a breast and a wing? I told him that I would like a refund. He stated that they could remake it. I said "No thank you, I'm not going to wait another 20-25 minutes and I would like a refund". This poor kid then stated that he would have to call his manager. Fine. Call them. Why would the manager need to be called? I didn't get what I ordered and paid for and I didn't eat the food. Over the phone the manager inquired if I would prefer for the food to be remade or if I would like a refund. Sir, I have already asked for a refund. Will most certainly not be returning. There are way too many fried chicken restaurants in this area. If chicken is your thing then maybe do it right. Also, I failed to mention that they now do seafood boils. Not sure I would try it. If you can't get your chicken orders right how are you going to get your seafood boils right? No thank you.

I have been here several times to pick up food, but this was my first time actually going inside to order. The line was long around lunchtime, but it moved quickly. It is fast casual style, so you walk down the line choosing what you want and then pay at the register. I honestly had no idea that was how it worked before, so I was prepared to wait a while. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient everything was. I was in and out much faster than expected. While putting my order together, the man helping me handed me a sample rib over the counter. I am a very socially awkward person and do not handle unexpected moments very gracefully, so I probably reacted a little awkwardly. That part was on me. The rib was GOOD though. He was very kind about my reaction and even handed me a napkin. The whole staff was friendly, asking how my week was going and checking in to make sure everyone was happy. Even though it was busy, they clearly care about customer service. The food was great. The garlic and green onion sausage had so much flavor, and the bananamisu was the perfect sweet finish. I originally went in hoping to order the BBQ oxtail, but they were sold out within two hours of opening, which honestly says a lot about how good they must be. I had also gone the day before around 7 PM and they had already closed because they were sold out for the day. Just a heads up that they do close early if they run out of food. Overall, great food, friendly staff, and quick service. I will definitely be back and hopefully I will finally catch the oxtail next time.
