If I could give zero stars I swear I would. For starters I've been going to this nail salon for 5 years, after every owner left and a new one took over I still went. It just seemed like the service improved from the last one. However the current owner, Stephanie (main nail tech) along with her family (mom and sisters) have really been slacking. That's probably one of the main problems, when working with family they seem to not take the job as serious and as a business should. Her mom when doing my pedicure did not put any soap in the water, cuticle softener, oil, etc on my feet and didn't even scrub them. Not to mention the water wasn't even warm. I could've stayed home and done that myself for free!!! Why am I being charged $26. Then when I asked Stephanie she lies and tells me they doesn't use cuticle nail softener because it's bad for your skin, at least come up with a better lie. I'm young not stupid. Especially since it's been used before on me by them. Now onto my nails, she booked like 5 appointments 30 minutes in between each other and it was just 2 of them in the salon at the time. Making her rush my nails. She wasn't paying attention and she cut my nails too short, she put way to much layers of gel power and nail polish, my nails were so thick. I even told her about it during the process and said she'll fix it. All she did was file down. She was running back and fourth doing my nails, painting toes, and putting on nails on someone else all while 3 more people were waiting and it has been 15 minutes passed their scheduled appointment time. And then she even took walk ins! Like wtf. People get really comfortable with your services and your loyalty and commitment and stop putting in the same effort they once did. If I'm paying the same amount nothing should change. That's my last time going to that salon and the last time any of them willl even look at my toes or nails. And not to mention one last thing, she's a racist. The mother is mixed with something (Not sure what but you can see it in her. ) and Stephanie made sure to tell me she didn't want people to know that her mother was mixed with black and she was upset people thought she was black (even though she was). I felt weird and uncomfortable she shared that with me being a black female. I went the next day and got my nails done somewhere else. Paid the right money for the proper services. I lost $50 that day but never again and never should anyone else. read more
