I was immediately put in a chair and water added, but after 20 minutes, I asked who was going to do me and the guy in next chair turned hot water on when I commented it was getting pretty cold. Finally (no clock; guess they don't want you do know how long you've waited) he started on me but 3/4 way through trimming nails another person took over. She didn't seem to understand much English and unfortunately was one of those "smile and say yes m'am" types no matter what I said. Just kept telling me to wait and it would all be done perfectly. Instead of finishing nails, she started on my legs...well, it did eventually all work out and it was one of the best nail jobs that I have had. Only one sharp corner left. They are all very nice and trained to say "yes m'am and smile" to everyone. Someone reviewed that there was no chemical smell...well maybe no one was having polish done while she was there. The door was open so smell was dissapating, especially as they finished with the smelly jobs. I've tried five other places in Sequim, and this was the best so far. They also give you a card that and after 5 visits you get $5 off. $25 for pedicure; she said $14 for manicure. Don't park on the street as you compete with space with the VFW bar/restaurant next door. I was hemmed in by a veteran who said they try to cram four cars in the three marked spaces. There is parking for the salon off the alley.

How nice. So i decided to see when she could get me in. Upon arrival.. The shop was a little hidden but after one loop around the block I found her nicely labeled private parking for her business.. (I had driven by it)... Walked in to a small...but nice and clean salon... It is a more intimate experience-- just you and Lisa. She offers you coffee, tea or water... And has the works for you right there to choose from.. Which is an appreciated touch. There wasn't a ton of nail polish colors to choose from but there was enough and I found the green I wanted. This is where my already good experience turned great. Lisa was not just friendly but relatable and warm. she makes you feel like you're old friends. Her nail work for my fill was spot on and she understood exactly what I wanted. Her passion is nails (which she does well).. But even better than that, I think her passion is people. She made me very relaxed, even though I had a massive migraine. She took her time and didn't rush - I asked her to chop off my split ends, but to keep as much hair as possible. She recommended something shorter than I would have liked - but I trusted her opinion, and it was actually perfect, with not nearly as much trimmed off as I thought! She did a fantastic job with my highlights too, making sure not to further damage my hair but still giving me the sunny bump I was looking for. They were closing but she said I could come on by. When I arrived her husband was finishing up a client. Anna removed my gels with a quickness using the machined buffer and some type of acetone soak, but it wasn't acetone. It was the fastest removal process. She took care to smooth my nails and did a great job trimming and prettying them before lacquer application. I think that OPI "Significant Other Color" is actually more of a lavenderish pink and green duo chrome, but what was left in the bottle was a pretty iridescent green/gold duo chrome which I love. I usu do my own mani, but being out of town and it had been 3 weeks, I was like--what the hay? Anna and her hubby are super friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them and their other client who had been going to them for years! Knew their kid and everything. That says a lot about a business.
