What can I say.. Evelyne was beyond wonderful! Rocco was rescued around 4 months old. As adorable as he may appear, he came with so many headaches. Rocco was very reactive to cars, other dogs, cats, anything that moves fast he had to bark and chase. Not to mention obsession with tail chasing and extreme separation anxiety. One of the most invaluable services we've taken advantage of is boarding. Whether it's one day or 2 weeks, we have been able to trust Evelyne with our dogs as if they were her own. They are always comfortably housed, well exercised, fed, and attended to. Our dogs have always had access to a secured outdoor area & a temperature controlled interior space. If our dogs have been on medication, Evelyne makes sure to provide it appropriately & feeds the dogs twice a day. She has always offered a dog bathing service before they come home too. The process for signing up has always been easy, as their vet records are kept on file unless anything significant has changed. Evelyne keeps track of which vet we prefer and any medical issues to be aware of. She has always sent us home with product recommendations, most of which we end up buying and loving. Her property is expansive for her boarding service, clean, and well organized. There's always water available to our pets & shelter if it's too hot or too cold. Evelyne has other animals on site like ducks, chickens & horses, which are all separated from the dogs & well taken care of. One of the convenient things about boarding with Evelyne is that it's all she does. Any day of the week, day or night, weekends, summer time, etc. Evelyne sends us photos/videos to let us know how they're doing & keeps a live camera going on their living space when she isn't with them. We sleep soundly at night knowing our pets are in safe hands & that isn't something we feel you can find just anywhere. We've also been taking our dogs to Evelyne for puppy training, boarding, and her board & train boot camp for the last few years. We started with a 2 year old pit who had so many issues.. she simply didn't know how to "dog." Then came our dachsund puppy and eventually our pit mix puppy a few months ago. Over the years, I cannot express the level of positive impact Evelyne has made on our lives. She has helped us learn how to communicate better with our dogs, establish discipline, and create stronger bonds with our pets. I got my dog as a four month from a rescue and he was my very first dog. I heard of Evelyne from a friend who's puppy went through the same overnight training. Seth is night and day different but still the same loveable puppy. He knows how to walk excellent on the leash, loves his crate, and is very obedient (considering he's a puppy he still has impulse control and Evelyne taught me how to work with that). My wife and I first found Evelyn three years ago when we needed help obedience training our first dog, a rescue pitbull mix named Lucas. We have since enrolled our new rescue pittie Olivia into her eight week obedience course. Evelyn is an amazing, effective and professional dog trainer with tons of experience. We love her direct, no nonsense approach to training pet parents and her obvious love and understanding for dogs of all breeds. Her style of training is more traditional, pack leader focused instead of the new school overly "praise and encouragement based" training. I find it works extremely well for our dogs and for most of the dogs I have seen in her classes (over 30). Being firm and direct with your dogs to obtain consistent results at home and in public does not mean you love them any less. A trained obedient dog is a safe one for all concerned. If you put in the time to practice her techniques with your pups regularly between classes, you will emerge with a better mannered, socialized dog and a stronger bond with your best friend(s). She was extremely high energy and I had a hard time with her off leash. My husband and I researched a lot of different trainers before we found Evelyn, but we are so happy with how things turned out! We have two dogs, a 10 month old Labrador puppy and a 2 year old husky/Rottweiler/mix, who both have hearts of gold but had never been properly trained! She Invited me to one of her classes and while I was waiting for her to arrive my dogs was barking at the other dogs like crazy. I didn't think I was going to able to take the class because my dog was so out of control. When Evelyne she came up to me and introduced her self and met my dog. I explained to her he was out of control and I might not be able to take the class. She then asked to take my dog and he was barking at the other dogs in the class and she gave him two corrections and the fixed the problem right away.
