They were great with their communication to let us know they were running a bit late and when they arrived they got straight to work. I gave them a quick tour to see where everything was and they knew exactly what to do. Every step of the way they were showing us the importance of the cleaning and how much it'll benefit our house. They provided before and after pictures along with everything their filter caught from the cleaning. It was clear our house needed it and may have never been done since it was first built. They were incredibly friendly, kind and willing to answer my questions. I appreciate the amazing work they did and the care they put into communicating the progress of their work. Overall the cost was the same that was quoted from the initial call - a little over $700. But it was well worth it, knowing our house is operating more efficiently and safely.

Edgar and Juan from Better Air Northwest were absolutely awesome at the job they completed for us!…read moreWe needed a custom solution to cool down a small closet and have a duct under our house fixed. Better Air Northwest sent out an estimator (Eric) for free. He was really nice, helpful, and figured out how to solve our issue for a reasonable price! We received the estimate per email a couple days later and unlike other companies, no pressure was put on us to approve the job right away - instead we were given as long as we needed to discuss and ponder. As soon as we approved the estimate, we were contacted so we could get on the schedule. Somehow Edgar and Juan asked and also answered all the questions at the very beginning and we were able to do other things while they did these 2 jobs like the true professionals they are. They started by taping everything in the room with the closet, and it kept everything so clean! (Although they did clean up after - and left the place tidier than it started haha - not even kidding they cleaned our doormat I forgot to clean prior to their arrival!) The attached pictures were provided by them and show the beautiful job they did! But I've seen other little touches that proof they are all about getting the job done right. Could not have hoped for better - I would hire them and Better Air Northwest again anytime for any job they perform!

Outstanding Service from a True Local Family Business! I…read morecouldn't be happier with the service I received from A+ Carpet Cleaning. As a small, family-owned business local to the Portland area, they truly go above and beyond for their customers. From the very first phone call, Chantal was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She responded to my follow-up email promptly and with the same level of care. When I explained my situation, Mike (the owner) personally squeezed me into his already busy schedule for the very next day -- even driving out of his way to my home in Sandy. The travel fee was more than worth it for the quality of service I received. I had a particularly tough biohazard pet stain (not urine, but still a real challenge). I had already tried cleaning it three times myself with a home carpet shampoo vacuum with zero success. Mike assessed the situation right away, recommended the perfect combination of services and products for my specific issue, and completely resolved it. The results were incredible -- the stain and odor are completely gone. A+ Carpet Cleaning delivered excellent, professional work from start to finish. If you're in the Portland area and need carpet cleaning you can trust, look no further. I highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them again!

VERY happy now. Prior review: We hired Capitol Duct because they were the only company we called that used a scope (camera) to examine the ducts before cleaning. We should have gotten the ducts cleaned before installing an in-duct booster fan, but we didn't think of it, so we needed the cleaners to be extra careful with their rotating brushes in that area. They came out 3-2-26. [I deleted the rest of my review, but the photos can' be deleted - they show dirt that showed up on our filter 2 months later. Capitol Duct came out again right away and took care of everything. NOTE to others - if something goes wrong, call them before posting a bad review.]

They fixed some damage caused by other contractors to the exterior vent cover and piping and I'm not sure our dryer has ever worked so well. Looking at the other Yelp reviews on this business, I was a bit concerned about having "Precision"…read moredo a major Solar Installation and furnace upgrade for us but they are the only Solar option in our area. Our initial interview went well. Local utility personnel are familiar with Stan and his work and gave a "thumbs up". We contracted in two phases, the first to "reduce our load" by replacing an aged heat pump and adding a minisplit so that my wife could have separate control in the bedroom. Then we replaced two electric water heaters with one hybrid on his recommendation. Our electric bills plummeted. This was all done quickly and professionally as determined by availability of parts. Prices were reasonable and as problems were encountered he showed a willingness to share some costs. ... While the first phase was going on, Stan worked with me to design our solar power system. We settled on a ground-mounted array of 30 panels on net with distributed inverters. This is not the type of system they usually do but Stan showed great flexibility and willingness to work with me. Once we had a design, I sent it to a group of solar folks who did a previous system for us in another area. They reviewed the specs and replied "Looks good!" ... It took a long time to get the system up and operational, mostly because of permitting and inspection issues associated with our ground-mounted option. (If we had gone to a roof mounted system, permitting would have been faster but there would have been other types of problems.) Now, it's up and going, the meter is "spinning backwards" and I'm a satisfied customer. ... Stan can be a bit quirky, but so am I. I found that he answers texts more regularly than phone calls.
