Chris came back on 4/14/26 and fully assembled the dryer and got the old Maytag working great with a new motor and blower. No extra charges for the visit/labor. Also he checked my dishwasher and showed me how to clean the food trap and did a quick inspection. Excellent service and we really like Chris and Stellar Appliance Repair! I am old school and do not like discarding and buying new - Chris can work with older mechanical appliances and give you his best opinion on whether to save or replace.

We had them out a second time to fix our washing machine and it was great! The third time was to fix our cooktop burner, they came out 3 times because they kept getting the wrong part (for 2 months!) and then preceded to charge us 3 trip fees at I believe, was their trip charge at that time, $40 and it wasn't our fault they had to come out 3 times or that it took 2 months for a simple repair! Then, we gave them another chance and we were going to have them fix another burner on our cooktop. They were supposed to come out between 2-4 today and guess what, No Show! I called them just now and they said all their service guys were gone for the day and didn't know what happened! Then I even spoke to James to whom my husband had spoken with and he claimed he had no idea what I was talking about. Then my husband called him and suddenly he remembered! Now I have to be around for another 2 hour window to wait for them again! What is wrong with this company? This will be the last time we use them! My husband went over there to ask some questions about their bill and their service. On top of them putting in a whole new burner, which it didn't need replacing, there was a tiny part that needed to be replaced. My husband literally took a photo and spoke to a technician about what needed to be replaced and he agreed! When we got the bill, the part was $170! The labor was $40 and then there was the trip charge for $90! We live 10 minutes from this place! $299 total. For a 15 minute job! They said to him that they don't know what happened, a common response from them. They took a whole $45 dollars off with no apology on their lack of business sense or caring about their customers taking time off work waiting for a no show!. How does this place stay open? I called into Portland and they are cheaper than this place and we will be having someone from Portland from now on! BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!

I described my issue with my freezer (loud buzzing sound when the motor comes on) and he was able to schedule a technician to come by on Monday afternoon to work around my schedule. The technician, Vasyl, texted me when he was on his way and arrived promptly as scheduled. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue (ice build up that was hitting the freezer fan when it turns on). To repair, I needed to move all the food items out of the freezer and into coolers, and Vasyl was able to quickly repair the issue by manually defrosting the ice build up using a commercial steamer tool. He inspected the fan and it was still operating normally and no buzzing, so it did not need to be replaced. He was able to diagnose the issue and finish the work within one hour of arrival. The repair price was reasonable and the inspection fee was waived since I went ahead with the repair. Vasyl also answered my questions about how to prevent this from happening again and also some recommendations on future fridges when it is time to replace mine. Brian is professional, knowledgeable, skillful, does great work and is a genuinely nice guy…read more Brand new Bosch 800 dishwasher (from Home Depot and installed by their contract installers just three days ago) did not work (detergent didn't dissolve, dishes not cleaned, etc.). Contacted Bosch (after Home Depot would not do anything) which got us in touch with Brian (the authorized Bosch service person in our area). Long story short, Brian quickly identified the problem (an installation issue). In addition, he also corrected some initial installation deficiencies and properly "re-installed" the dishwasher. He was super careful and precise. We have worked with various repair people over the years and by far, Brian is the best in all respects. Great attitude and great work -- a perfect combination. I see some negative Yelp reviews but they shouldn't cast your expectations in a negative light. Our experience was, without exception, an incredibly good one. Thank you Brian!
