Patrick arrived on time. Protected out home & performed the diagnoses in about an hour. Nice guy. I will definitely. Use Sears repair service if needed in the future. Thank you read more

I scheduled clothes washer repair with Sears online. It was 10 days out, but since local repair companies either don't travel to our town, Ocean Shores, Wa. or don't service all brands, I was willing to wait. The evening before the date I became concerned because I had not gotten an update on time. I checked my appointment online. It had been changed from 9.15.2026 to 11.25.2026. I tried calling, but the customer service number, 802-552-4364, has a robotic agent who says no live agent is available. When I gave "her" the confirmation number from my online order, the robot said I had no appointment. After confirming with the "local" repair company that they do not work on Haier combination washer/dryers, I decided to try again with Sears. I just made an appointment with the robot for 6 days from today. Fingers crossed it will happen. read more

Patrick was great. I have a less than common stove, but he was able to come, work with the product support folks, find the issue, and get a part ordered. He clearly laid out the next steps for getting to a resolution and made sure I had no concerns along the way. Very friendly and professional. read more

Patrick arrived timely and explained what he was doing. He had to look online for 3 different manuals. because the "generic" part ordered may not work in our refrigerator. He explained thoroughly if we don't see it working in 24 hrs, to call...and they would need to come again (that would be the 3rd trip) though there would be no labor costs for service only parts. read more

I should have posted a comment every time I scheduled a repair for the washing machine that has not been properly repaired in less than 2 years I apologize fellow Yelpers. I have another repaired scheduled for today and according to the text message if the technician is behind schedule I will receive a message which I still have not if you look at the photo in the top left corner you will see the time and info on the message which clearly is beyond my scheduled appointment time but I haven't heard from Sears home service and here I wait with a broken machine that hasn't worked since last year December 2024 the other picture that shows parts are the ones that were left out from the repair that was conducted in December for a machine that has been non-operational but I still have not received my $50 for service not repaired within 14 days. Updates are given via Text Messages but even that service is poorly managed read more

I had multiple services done. Repair of range and stove as well a servicing of my dishwasher, refrigerator, and dryer. Patrick was awesome and explained what he was doing and how I can keep up on my appliances to elongate their life. I liked that I got a discount on servicing my other appliances since I bundled them with a repair. I felt like the pricing was fair and the quality of work, excellent. read more

Did nothing other than state what he believed to be the issue but did nothing to repair or resolve the issues that required a service technician as the washer issues continue to be a problem and have not been resolved or repaired. I needed a repair not advice read more

This was a dishwasher repair warranty claim. When the claim was first filed a tech was out in less than a week, which was fine. But even though I was clear that the issue could be one of two different pumps, they only sent the tech out with one of them. It was the wrong part so they had to order the correct pump and reschedule for a week later. The morning of that appointment I received a text saying my appointment had to be rescheduled due to "unforeseen circumstances". The appointment was moved out another week. This would be appointment #3 and the same thing happened on the day of service. Canceled due to unforeseen circumstances and this time the next available appointment was in another two weeks. Today was appointment #4 (all four of these by the way had expectations for me to be home from work from 8am to 5pm. Tech came out and finally repaired the dishwasher after it being broken for over a month. I tried calling Sears Home Services many times but only ever reached a AI answering service with NO way to speak to a human or even leave a message to be called back. The tech was fine but the service was terrible and I will never pay for warranty coverage that uses Sears Home Services again. read more

very professional, on time and fixed the problem. very satisfied with A&E , I would recommend them to anyone.

Patrick was our service person. He not only took care of our appliance problem, he provided us with handy tips to help with my baking temperatures and what to do if the problem reappears. Patrick was very knowledgeable, personable and efficient. Glad he is available in our area if we need appliance services. Thank you Sears for having him on your team. read more

Gary came in and got after it. 15 minutes later, the part was installed and I didn't have to do it!

Three rescheduled times. One due to power outage. Here's an idea how about letting us have an 8 am appt. Instead we get 445 to 5 pm and service person shares hes having a bad day and finally here but can't get the Dishwasher out to repair. Now, we had it installed so we wouldn't have to deal with these issues. Maybe they forced it in or how about removing front pegs. I'm not a repair person but it went in it should come out. Then repair person says his review page doesn't have a response for this except an unsafe work environment. This is crap. It was installed so it should come out. We are not ripping up our flooring so the dishwasher can be fixed. We will go back to square one either Samsung or home depot installation. read more

Update #3. Sears was scheduled to return today but did not show up. We waited. All day. Finally got through to someone but were told the service truck broke down. Stated next available appointment is in a week. On our way to BUY a new dryer to replace the one that SEARS BROKE. Worst experience ever. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, TOTALLY INCOMPETENT... Update #2. Synopsis: Sears came to replace a felt dryer drum seal. Easy job. Technician fried some electronics in the process. Admitted fault, stated they would fix. Can't find parts, still waiting. Now they are sending another person out to verify it's broken. Almost 4 weeks without a dryer. Sears Appliance Repair is the WORST... Update #1. After finally getting through to a supervisor and receiving a case number I was told I would get a call back within 36 hours. I received an email that another service call was scheduled despite the fact that there were still no parts to my dryer that Sears broke. When I called back the customer service number, 800-479-6351, I was told that they need to schedule another appointment to confirm that the dryer they broke was actually broken and that they couldn't fix it before they replaced it with parts that they were unable to acquire. This would be an amusing circus if it were not for the fact that I have now been without a dryer for over three weeks. read more

Sears is the WORST service and experience Ive EVER had in all my years of business I would NOT recommend them at all Id say RUN.,.call a local person not some corporation sourced out to japan ot china .,You cant talk to any one and THEY DONT Honor their agreements ! I just bought a garage door opener and spent a ton of money .,it took him from 1 oclock until 10 that night and he then informed me i had to call some one else and spend MORE Money to complete the job and NOW 2 weeks later the garage door opened WIL NOT WORK and Sears is telling me they cant help me?? WTH?? That's immoral the guy that was a local person came out and told me he had never seen anyone leave a MESS like they did ! I asked the\the Sears person to pleas take his mess and he said Sears wouldn't allow it? I have NEVER had ANY repair person or service do that? it is Custom to clean up your garbage and mess when you leave any work site! ? I dont have a truck? I am on disability and have NO way to get rid of the heavy stuff and boxes and mess they left this has been a NIGHTMARE and now Im stuck with a garge door I cant open or close!!?? DO NOT CALL SEARS !! DO NOT !! call a local business or person with references read more

The mechanic was great. Beside fixing the washer and dryer, he had also to straighten out all the glitches the Sears automated service had. I appreciated him very much but Sears has to do something about their system. It filled in an address and name from 16 years ago. I have used Sears several times in the last 16 years when I lived at different addresses. read more

I received an automated call that told me my service was scheduled for tomorrow which I thought was strange because the text messages said today. Then my technician arrives and I've left my house because, again, the phone call said TOMORROW. So my niece is the only one home. Instead of the technician calling back to ask about what was wrong he listens to my niece try to play the go between and explain what happens. In less than 15 minutes he decided it was the washing machine that leaked water which we KNOW is not what happened because we watched the dryer leak water. While the technician was there he told my niece if it wasn't the washing machine then it was the hose which he does not fix. We KNOW IT WASN'T the hose because Friday the Home Depot installation team came out to check all their work. This was the most ridiculous warranty I've ever received which is horribly sad because my husband and I were so excited about having purchased from Samsung and receiving a 10 year warranty. But obviously the warranty isn't really worth anything and I wasted about $1,800 between my washer and dryer. read more

From the very start of scheduling my refrigerator repair appt. Sears was excellent at servicing me. Customer service was so very attentive and the repair service technician called me 30 min. prior to arriving. He was polite, efficient, and even ordered a part for my Sears Kenmore stove, that arrived 2 days later. Great service! I am a happy Sears customer. Thank you! Carmen M. Fuller read more

Today is August 25th, our fridge broke this past February. Despite 6 months passing and at least 8 visits plus 2 no-shows from the Sears Technician it still does not work. Worse yet I am paying $50.00 a month for this wonderful warranty under Sears. I have spoken to the home warranty department at least 10 times to complain and get the same run around. I have never in my life experienced such poor service and the warranty program is a joke. Will be reporting poor service to BBB to see if that may get them to honor their warranty. Service and home warrant both desearve a 0. read more

We have the Five Year Warranty on Kitchen Appliances. It was a pricey add on to the price of the appliances - I have less faith in today's computerized appliances so I paid for it. In two years this is the fourth time I have had to call for repairs to one of the kitchen appliances (twice for the refridgerater, once for the range, once for the dishwasher.) When the ice maker failed I called and amazingly got scheduled for the next day. Rob, the technician, arrived on time and had the problem fixed in 20 minutes, including a full explanation of what failed and some advice on how to prevent it in the future. He took the time to look up the part number of the filter which needed changing. The phone / email / text notification was efficient, the tech was polite and professional.. Easy to rate this call as 5 stars. read more

Do not get suckered into purchasing the extended service repair. We purchased a kenmore elite side by side refrigerator with the extended warranty. We have owned it just over a year and have had 4 service calls with the 5th today for it NOT making ice. At this point, I think we are owed a replacement and they are NOT doing it. SAME EXACT problem for 5 service calls and that does not deem it "not fixable" ? Each time the service repairman made some "repair" and it worked for two weeks. (replaced a cord, insulated something in the door, changed out some other part and lastly added a little piece on the top of the freezer that he claimed would close the lever more tightly on the top of the freezer so that it would read it needs to make ice.) Obviously it is not repairable. We had comfort in purchasing the extended 5 year service with SEARS and invested the extra money BUT there is no comfort now. read more
