    Iced matcha latte

Matcha latte is good. They can add a sweetener with it too. The place has other snacks and even serves lunch items during lunch time. Owners are very sweet and helpful.

They really need some signage. I'd been at the hospital every day for a month before finding out about this place, usually making do (due?) with the cafeteria food. They're currently located in the back right corner of the entrance area, behind the check in stations, but before the elevators. I think it might be semi-temporary while the new building is being constructed? They have a daily hot food special or two, like curry chicken over rice, with the option for half size. Sandos are kinda basic, but arguably better than the pre packed ones in the cafeteria. Spam musubis (spam in da middle style) are premade for grab and go, pretty basic in that the Spam's not glazed and no furikake nor shoyu, BUT they're generously sized and the Spam:rice ratio is on point. Bring your own bottle of furikake, an avocado if you're feeling bougie, and you're pretty close to a damn good musubi. Coming from someone who's eaten way too many musubis in Hawaii.

We love this place! A family owned spot tucked into the corner of the general hospital, and their menu has so much to offer. We love the drinks and often have mini team field trips down to Lucky to get afternoon pick me ups. Highly recommend if you're in the hospital!

    Taro Frappachino!

It might seem strange...or not, giving an awesome review on a place located in a hospital. But Lucky Coffee has fantastic Drinks, Snacks and Food! This hidden gem offers speciality drinks and delicious food. My Go-To drink is the Taro Frappachino! This has me coming back 2-3 times a week.

    a cup of matcha latte

This seasonal drink at the time of the review is Osmanthus Latte and Lemonade. I highly recommend it, the Osmanthus flower makes the drinks smooth tasting and compliments the flavor profile of the latte or lemonade.

My initial 5 star review was for the ZSFG CAFE NOT LUCKY COFFEE. EWW, that Costco brand muffins and flavorless coffee... I'll pass.

Our group came around 1pm and was able to grab the last 3 sets. Our party of 6 was able to share the 3 sets and feel relatively full. There was a range of dishes, of the selection the tempura and the silky eat was quite delicious. We found the Napa to be a bit floral for our taste but a perfect palette cleanser. The staff were the sweetest and combined tables together to let our party sit together. They even put a candle in the matcha tart for my birthday!

I got the strawberry matcha and the seasonal lavender matcha. Both drinks were bitter and tasted watered down. Default sweetness was not too sweet but the matcha didn't have the creaminess even with regular milk. Strawberry puree was good but not enough to carry the diluted matcha. The matcha cream pie was solid. Soft matcha filling with very crispy edge. Whipped cream on top was also tasty. Would not come back here for the matcha. Maybe their food is better. With matcha coming out that quick feels like it wasn't prepared well and lost its quality. Street parking here or parking garage next street over.

I'm a lover of pandan and had SO much trouble choosing a drink because of it lol. I ended up ordering the kopi klepon and it was amazing! The drink was super creamy and earthy, and I loved how vibrant the pandan flavor was. Oftentimes when I get pandan drinks the flavor is way too light, but this had the perfect amount. It also had a bit of palm sugar in it, which added just the right level of sweetness. Definitely lived up to the hype!

A couple tables along the side but overall not too big inside. Couldn't decide what to get but I loved that their menu included visuals for the components of each drink. Price is slightly on the higher end but I guess you can't get Indonesian coffee anywhere else in SF. Ended up with a macchiato and cappuccino to try. Staff was friendly and I appreciate that they were informative about the macchiato being different than how Starbucks does it. Our drinks were freshly made and ready in 5 mins. Size of the macchiato was definitely a lot smaller than I realized but the coffee was nice and bold. Both drinks allowed us to appreciate the pure coffee bean taste without being too bitter. Looking forward to coming back and trying the popular kopi pandan!

Every drink we ordered was honestly delicious, you can really tell they put care into the quality and flavor of each one. Their coffee is smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The staff was also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. We both loved our drinks, and I also appreciated the portion sizes--they were just right and really satisfying. I ordered the Velvet Matcha Cloud (a matcha latte with matcha cloud), and my sister got the Matcha Strawberry Cloud, which includes an organic matcha latte topped with house-made strawberry cloud and dried strawberries. Both drinks were beautifully made and tasted great. They also have a wide variety of drink options beyond matcha, including coffee classics like signature pour-overs and espressos, as well as tea and other hot drinks. Their food menu is just as extensive, offering pastries like crepes, croissants, scones, muffins, and even sandwich bites. I really loved the vibe inside Q! It's very aesthetic with a soft, creamy, almost cozy atmosphere. Since we went last Friday on an afternoon, it was quite busy with a mix of tech workers and college students working at tables, but the space still felt comfortable. The staff were kind and working hard despite how busy it was, which I appreciated. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for good drinks, a pretty atmosphere, and a productive café environment.
