After a long string of take-outs from here, we dined AT Lucky Chopsticks and, man, it was a good call. The take out is always solid but table-served sizzling is outstanding. We've always enjoyed the food from LC but dining in takes it up a notch. The ambiance is, admittedly, not the reason write home but it's tidy and comfortable. Service was super as well: courteous, on the ball and pleasant. Just a really solid and delicious dining experience. Definitely one we will repeat soon! read more

Lucky Chopsticks is an excellent find in Anacortes! We have enjoyed several meals there now, and have found the food to be excellent. It's a bit Americanized, but still very tasty and a little spicy if requested. The service is excellent. All the times that we have been there, the waitress or waiter have been attentive and accommodating. My favorite things there have been the beef dishes, while my partner prefers the sweet-and-sour. Really good chow mein and fried rice. Go at lunchtime, as the deals are very good. The leftovers warm up nicely. read more

Horrible chinese food! This used to be our go-to place for chinese food in Anacortes. Unfortunately, now they overcharge for their bland, uncooked, and tasteless meals, and we will not be going back and telling all our friends and family how horrible this place has become. We had uncooked cabbage in our fried egg rolls, sticky and chewy dough balls with a sprinkle of pork that are supposed to be "sweet and sour pork", and our kung pao shrimp that's supposed to be spicy and have actual shrimp was mostly vegetables with TWO pieces of shrimp hidden at the bottom. We went at 3pm. Parking good. Place was empty but Clean. Service fast friendly. Food was hot and fresh and quick to table. They do phone ahead take outs while we were there. We ate family style. This place has been around forever, it was my favorite in town for a long time. Sadly, the new owners have slowly been going in the wrong direction with this restaurant. They used to be so willing to help a customer find what they want. However, now, they wouldn't even allow you to sub pork fried rice for chicken fried rice. I offered to pay more which is funny because chicken is often cheaper, but they said no and blamed inflation for their reason. They turned a frequent and reliable customer away, it will be a long time before I patron their again. Food is still good when you get it, take 45 min but good. read more

We live in town and generally go to Thai but come to Lucky Chopsticks on a Sunday and it was absolutely perfect. Loved the meal and all was great and we talked how we would definitely be back. Growing up in Southern Asia, I'm very picky about my food. I was very surprised by the dishes they offered. My wife and I each got a lunch special with the Empress chicken with crab wontons and pork fried rice. All of it tasted incredibly good. The egg flower soup was tasty and fresh. I got their wonton soup, I used to eat at this place a lot A few years ago. I recently ordered the wonton soup to go. Soup broth was good the wontons were horrible. The little meat part was okay but I had to pull off the disgusting dough more Dough than meat and the dough itself was a thick mass of sticky goo. Does someone else own this place? A new cook ? Only reason I went there is he wanted Chinese and it was a Monday so they were open. Food did not look bad. But the scallops in hot garlic sauce was almost garlic and not hot. Best Chinese in Anacortes. Try the pineapple pork fried rice, it is amazing and the left overs make it worth not eating it all at once. We especially like to top it with another of the veggie dishes instead of using white rice. This is Chinese/American Food. Just like most others in town. We've had great food, bad/tainted food, and mostly just average food. Yes the Mongolian Beef can be very good, with the noodles crispy. I've always loved Hot & Sour Soup, especially theirs. The recipe must have changed to be quite a bit hotter, (Just like their "sister" Resturant in Oak Harbor, China City. We ordered number three family meal because it had the best food options and everything was absolutely delicious. The sizzling rice soup, shrimp and pork were wonderful appetizers, the fried rice was the best I've ever had, the empress chicken and Mongolian beef were incredible. The service was great and if we weren't just passing through, we would absolutely make this a regular date night spot. Good food. Horrible service!!! Called in a to go order.. said it would be 20 minutes. I come in about 40 minutes later for them to say 5-10 more minutes, so I go to the store. Takes about 30 minutes. Come back to them saying 5-10 minutes again. Absolutely rediculous. Do not waste your time... this place can't seem to get it together. And on top of all that I drove 20 minutes ( one way ) out of my way to come specifically for food. What a huge huge waste of my time! Sad to say but I will not be coming back unless they want to make it right... and I will be spreading the word to other locals not to waste their time with this poor excuse of an establishment! read more
