When we walked in, the restaurant was full. It took forty-eight minutes to get our food and by that time there were only tables left with people eating, including us. I hadn't been to Dynasty in a few years, and back then it was really good. I don't know what the problem was this time, but the fried rice was greasy, and the shrimp were tiny little things that were overcooked. I ordered a bowl of Won Ton Soup, it was so small, maybe a quarter of a cup. Won't be recommending this place to others. read more

An amazing experience for our family while visiting Sequim. The dishes are not American Chinese, they are more authentic and reminded us of our favorite, now unfortunately closed, ABC Chinese Seafood Restaurant in Albuquerque, NM. The appetizer was the best, we ordered Salt & Pepper Squid, the right crunch and spice and flavor. Also ordered Hot & Sour Soup, Dynasty Prawns, Nine Flavor Beef, Beef Hand-Shaven Noodles, and Dry Wok-Tossed Green Beans. All the dishes were just right, the service quick and attentive, dishes came out quickly even though there were take-out orders being completed. We are hoping to go back as soon as possible while we stay in Sequim. We'll order the Salt & Pepper Squid again as well as the Dry-Wok Tossed Green Beans, plus other seafood dishes we did not get to order. Looking forward. read more

This is the best Chinese restaurant I've been to that doesn't lay the tables with chopsticks! I especially appreciate the hand-shaved noodles. The dry wok-tossed green beans are amazing with plenty of chili and garlic. Hubby added soy sauce & chili paste since the food is made light on salt which is excellent for the health and allows us to add the amount of sodium we individually desire. Wow what a great find in a smaller place like Sequim. Great Chinese food is far and few between in the PNW, and this is one of the best we have found. We got the chow mein and the Sequim beef. The beef was incredible. My partner enjoyed the chow mein, but I thought it was *slightly* under seasoned--my significant other enjoyed it though FWIW. The staff were all kind and friendly, and the value was great. They have even better lunch combos if you REALLY want to save money. 4.5 stars only because I thought the chow mein could have been a little better seasoned. If we lived in Sequim we'd be regulars in a heartbeat. read more

What a great spot in Sequim! The staff were so friendly and fun! But the food...amazing! We tried not to order too much but it was all so good we kept ordering more! We started with pot stickers and spring rolls but then added bbq pork because we saw other people having it and it looked delicious! It was all fantastic! Consistently great Chinese. Better than most I've been to around the Seattle area for that matter. I don't usually see hand-shaven noodles on a menu and they are excellent. The service is above and beyond extraordinary, I was given water refills without asking and given extra plates to help in sharing the dishes we ordered because they were so big. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh, the flavors were wonderful. We were seated near the front and EVERY group leaving left with left over bags. That's how much food they give you there. I read a few reviews complaining about the price but overall getting enough for two meals makes it more than worth it eating here. I would highly recommend dining or getting takeout here. read more

Some of my favorite Chinese food in Washington state! My go-tos are definitely the beef hand shaven noodle, honey walnut shrimp, and string beans! Food is always fresh. Staff is extremely friendly. Portions are large, so you definitely get stuffed, and have room for leftovers! Huge parking lot, so never an issue. If you're in the Sequim area, definitely a MUST stop! read more

My husband and I visited for the first time in September for a birthday dinner. We were both impressed with both the service, which was very upbeat and friendly, and the food, which was excellent. I had seen reviews of the hand shaven noodles, so that's what I ordered. I think I will have to keep ordering this in the future because I don't think it gets any better than these were. 10/10 flavor and texture. My husband had beef with ginger, and it was also excellent. It had large pieces of ginger; this is the perfect dish if you're a fan. The atmosphere is casual, friendly and comfortable. Highly recommend. read more

We drove to Sequim to enjoy the sunny day and we were delighted to find this excellent Chinese restaurant. We love Chinese food and we would give this 10 stars on a ten star scale. The service was also very good and the interior though dated was clean and inviting. We plan to make the 45 minute drive when we are feeling like Chinese food. The location is dated, but don't let that detour you. However, the quality and flavor of food is why you shouldn't eat here, in my OPINION. The mushu chicken was lackluster. Devoid of flavor and the pancakes were not soft., egg roll was a dry fried veggie spring roll more than it was an egg roll. No flavor. Crispiness was good but that's the end of the good. Walnut chicken was big pieces of chicken cooked decently, or over cooked- each piece was different, but not all white meat and was literally DOUSED in sweetened mayonnaise. Look at the photo! I mean... why?!? The sesame chicken was the only thing that had decent flavor but it still didn't hit the mark and was way over sauced. And the soups- absolutely tasted like dishwater to two of the three of us eating. The third refused to taste it at all, as she'd had enough of this dinner mess and wasn't going there. We had wonton soup and egg drop/egg flower soup. The egg flower was dishwater tasting with so much cornstarch it was a paste by the time we traveled 10-15 min to sit down to eat. Wonton was nice but the stick was all of what dishwater would be- no color- no good flavor. The pork fried rice was dark and dry. I've had rice-a-roni taste better. Seriously disappointed in this old rice that was served and nothing hinted that it had been fried as wasn't a trace of oil. I'm never one to advocate for fast food but gas stations sandwiches cost less and are more filling and fast food places are a better bet. You've been warned. read more
