Great stop on the way to the Ocean.

Great stop on the way to or from the Ocean. A variety of Asian and Japanese cuisine, with a delicate yet flavorful touch to the sauces. Fresh Veggies, Boba and even a robot server. Service is friendly and welcoming.

Dancing Boba out in front. They are located next to Walmart in Sequim!

Fresh fish, friendly staff and yummy bubble tea. Glad to see a thriving sushi place in Sequim.

Udon Soup

A-OK. Small fast food style teriyaki & sushi that gets the craving satisfied but at a cost. You order at the counter or online with kind service. We decided to try a sushi roll since they had a staffed sushi counter, it was ok, just very slow. My chicken Katsu was the better of meals, good size but I finished it in one sitting. We also had the udon special which was just an ok mild soup. (w/ very chewy meats in a lite broth.) If it cost less I'd feel better, but $50 lunch for 2 and didn't even have drinks (that would be about $20 more... ) So ouch for okness. It Is convenient if craving thou.

We've tried sushi high and low and everywhere in between and my goodness - BEST SUSHI EVER!!!! Got 3 salmon rolls, 3 salmon hand rolls and chicken Yakisoba - first time here and all DELICIOUS!!!!! Very reasonably priced, FRESH, great portion size! Not stingy with their salmon like many other places. The restaurant is super clean, staff friendly and helpful and just an awesome experience!!! Will be back for sure! A must try in the Sequim/Port Angeles area! Trust me! You too should DEFINITELY try!

This photo does not do justice to exactly how large the nigiri are

Pretty solid sushi in a retail plaza. Menu is pretty basic but they do a good job with what they've got. The most notable thing is that the portions are MASSIVE. The nigiri, for example, is easily 2x the size you typically see - a solid 2 bites per piece if not 3. I got 3 hand rolls and 1 nigiri, but easily could have done with just 2 hand rolls. The fruited ice tea in the giant carafe at the counter is pretty good too, fwiw. On the sweet side but very refreshing on a hot day

This yellowtail was melt in your mouth good!! Live the little addition of rice and tobiko

What a great find! First the people who work there were very friendly and helpful. Second, the food was very good- well seasoned, large portions and it was on our table very quickly. We had a couple of the rolls, the veggie tempura and the yakisoba and all were very good and plated in a manner that was enticing and showed care in presentation. The ambiance is very casual.

Stir fry chicken with deep fried burnt and bitter cashews. Zero flavor

I waited about 35 minutes to receive my food. Would I have liked to receive it sooner? Yes, but I could tell the kitchen was working hard and it was busy. They did what they could I got an 8.00 Sake Maki role and the Nebeyaki Udon soup dish to compliment the rainy and moody weather The sushi roll wasn't anything special. Salmon, rice and seaweed, you really can't go wrong! I'm going to to come back and try other rolls cause the sushi here looks delicious The soup was full of Sweet and savory ... It definitely had that umami flavor but the shrimp and egg were very overcooked. The soup was boiling hot when I received it, the egg was hard boiled, not poached and the shrimp tempura was tough and rubbery. The variety of ingredients impressed me though. The fish cake, fried tofu, mushrooms, and pea crisps were delicious and flavorful! I would get this dish again, because it truly did taste good, I just wish they'd out the shrimp and egg into the broth later so that they didn't come out overcooked. Loved the vibe here, food was good.. this place has a good thing going!

Sushi Koushi - A Hidden Gem! We decided to try out this…read moreplace on a Monday evening after my daughter's gym class. Sushi Koushi is a tiny spot tucked inside the mall -- the place was pretty clean, nothing too fancy about it. We ordered Green Tea, Unagi Nigiri, Jalapeño Bombs, Dragon Roll, and the Koushi Roll. Let me start by saying -- everything we ordered was pretty amazing! A note: We are a pretty hard family to please when it comes to sushi. So far, we've only had one go-to sushi place for the past five years. This one? Even my daughter loved it. The flavors were beautifully balanced -- nothing was too overpowering. The quantity was more than sufficient for a family of three. Usually at other places, we end up ordering one more roll, but not here! I especially loved the Koushi Roll, which had seared salmon -- absolutely delicious. For the Jalapeño Bombs, we requested they replace the tuna with crab, and it was perfect for our taste buds. Needless to say, my daughter finished most of them! The service was really quick -- we were in and out within 40 minutes, which is impressive for the amount of food we ordered. Overall, a really nice and pleasant experience. Super glad we tried this one out -- highly recommend!

We shared the sushi nachos which we a little soggy and something we would pass on next time. The sushi rolls were fresh and tasted great. Good spot, large dining room so you don't feel cramped, service was great. The wooden partitions and traditional Japanese design elements create a cozy space that is both elegant and relaxed. It is the kind of place where you can take your time and actually enjoy the experience, not just the food. What really stood out to me was the freshness and presentation. You can literally see the quality at the sushi bar, with beautifully cut fish displayed right in front of you. It immediately builds trust and anticipation. I ordered a mix of items, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. The crispy rolls we had were perfectly balanced, with a light crunch on the outside and very fresh, flavorful fish on top. The textures were just right, not greasy, not heavy, just clean and satisfying. The crab tempura roll was also excellent, with a nice crispiness and generous portions. One of my favorite parts was how vibrant everything looked. The colors, the plating, the little details like the garnish and sauce all showed care and attention. It did not feel like standard sushi you can get anywhere, it felt curated. The menu itself is also really interesting. There are classic options, but also more elevated dishes like uni, toro selections, and specialty items that make the experience feel a bit more premium without being intimidating. You can go simple or explore more refined flavors depending on your mood. Service was smooth and pleasant. Nothing felt rushed, and everything came at a good pace. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, this is definitely a spot I would come back to. It hits that perfect balance between quality, atmosphere, and price. Whether you are going for a casual sushi night or something a bit more special, Kazoku delivers. Highly recommend. I felt like I was in Japan. I miss Japan .
